The truck seemed grungy inside the cab, and the truck overall did not well-maintained. When I went and picked up the truck, it was parked down the lane way and I had to do an 18 point turn to be able to pull out of the lot. I was lucky not to have hit anything making so many maneuvers to squeeze the truck out of the laneway.

Worst experience by far. Manager blocked my car on site with a Uhaul truck purposely to try and teach me a lesson for not parking there and this is my first time at this location. Same lady proceeds to then lecture me as well about parking the car in a stiff uptight tone as if she was personally offended by it. Extra charges on my account which is not being resolved.

When the booking was made, the CSR who assisted me ( at Rexdale location ) was extremely friendly and helpful with all my questions. At pick up , there were 2 CSRs , the CSR who helped me with my reservation was polite and friendly but the other CSR who was at the desk was rude and very unmannerly. It is definitely understanble that due to the new Covid-19 regulations things are different when it comes to social interaction but it does not mean that CSRs have to be impolite towards the customers. CSR must be reminded that we are all in this together and nobody is above anyone.

It takes way to long to return a rental vehicle specially if you want to pay by debt a customer shouldn't have to use there phone to go though all those steps to return and pay for a rental vehicle. Ridiculous!

We had an issue with the tail lights working on the trailer. U-Haul technician 'Mark' took the time to test all the fuses in the fuse box under the hood of my vehicle. He found a blown fuse and replaced it with one of the spares. Bingo, it worked - tail lights working to allow for safe night towing. Brake and turn signal lights all good too. Mark was confident and helpful through the whole process. Please pass on my thanks to him. Thanks Bruce

Every section of this truck was banged up. It also didnt run well at all. We were scared it wasnt gonna make it to brampton and back. Truck latch is so warped you have a hard time opening and closing the back. It takes way to long to check in as well. We needed this for 11 am. And we were late with pick up time at 10:30am

My overall experience at 240 Rexdale Blvd, location was professional, friendly and quick. I'm impressed by the way the ladies make the operation move better than men would at most location. I'm also glad that they got the job done right the first time. Great team work can be seen as I was waiting my turn in line to be serve. Although I was very disappointed with the U-haul closer to me ( Weston Rd and Albion) for calling a week ahead and booking a truck, given a confirmation number in advance. Arrive early (3 person in the line) outside in the cold🥶, only to be told inside at the counter on my moving date.. (Dec 27) there was no truck available🤯😪. The Rexdale location step up to the plate over the phone and was able to make a bad feeling become a bright ray of sunshine on my moving dayhin... Many thanks to you all for easing my stressful day and giving outstanding customer satisfaction. 👍

I book a 20 foot truck 2 weeks before to make sure i have the truck in the right date. Staff even confirmed that truck is available after 2 to 3 days by calling my phone. The time of the schedule truck is not available because costumer who borrowed it is not returning on time. I wasted time, money and more headache due to people who suppost to help me are not available when truck is already free for me to borrow. The company is too big truck are limited when needed

The truck I got wobbles at around 80kph. Would be nice if the truck was tip top. Moving is already stressful and can do without the added anxiety of breaking down along the way. Plus the lady kept on trying to upsell. Very annoying

I cannot say enough what an awful experience this was. I booked a Uhaul downtown Toronto near where I live and my reservation was changed the day before to Rexdale. This is about 30 minutes away from where I live. I had to take an Uber to the new location to pickup the Uhaul. When I arrived, the operation was complete mayhem and the service and staff were completely inept dealing with long lines of disgruntled customers. I waited an hour to get the Uhaul (keep in mind my reservation was from 9 AM to 3 PM) only to realize the truck had no gas. I was told to fill the truck up down the street and I would be REIMBURSED fully for it. This cost $145. I had to drive the track another half hour back downtown. At this point I had lost nearly 2 hours off my reservation. I had to drive the truck another half hour back to the location to drop it off. At that point I was told I would only be reimbursed $45 for gas. Absolutely unacceptable. The staff, vertabtim, told me I would be reimbursed. Literally the worst, most unpleaseant experience I've ever had to deal with for any rental. So what normally would have cost maybe $100, now cost me $275 with the gas and Uber charges. Absolutely infuriated! I will NEVER rent from this company again.

Horrible. The person at the counter was outrightly rude, unwilling to listen & clueless to the core. On arrival, the woman at the counter first told me the truck I booked (15 Feet) wasn't available. She mocked me saying that expecting a truck for a booking made 2 days prior the pickup date was very optimistic of me - apparently your customers make their bookings at least a month in advance. Once I showed her the confirmation email, she miraculously found a truck for me. The ill-treatment did not end here. She asked me to return the truck the same day before 7pm sighting high demand. When I told her the booking was for 24hours, she refused and said the truck has to be back without fail. I forced her to check the system. That's when she realized her mistake. This was my first time renting a UHaul and for obvious reasons I had a few questions - none of which this lady was ready to listen to. She kept dismissing my questions & asked me to go online for Q&As and T&Cs. Overall, the expereience was extremely unsatisfying & pathetically unprofessional. It was completely chaotic from the start, and the insensitivity & lack of knowlege of the staff worsened it. Forget suggesting it to anyone else, I am never using your services again.

Unfortunately there was a few issues with picking up the truck. I booked it based on a location that would make more sense for me. When I booked it, it said there would be a truck there (hence why I proceeded with the booking). The day before I picked it up, I received a call that the truck needed to be picked up 25km out of the way of where I originally booked. It was not ideal in the least and pushed our moving schedule back by an hour, not to mention the extra kms we would use because of U-haul. We disputed the extra kms and no one has reached out to us yet. Instead I received a bill for an extra $10 due to overage on our mileage. I would appreciate this to be waived/reimbursed. Once I got to the Rexdale location, the 4 individuals working at the desk did not greet us, they were all staring at their computers. Finally someone acknowledged us and tried to assist. There was some confusion behind the desk as to what truck was ours. They gave us the keys, they sent us out to inspect the truck, it was parked behind the building with 2 trucks in front and 2 behind and a wall on one side and another row trucks on the other. We couldn't get out. We went back in and they were still confused as to what truck we should have been taking. FINALLY, the individual that helped us came out to move the other trucks so we could get out, but kept saying she couldn't back them back in. I had offered to move the trucks for her as this seemed to be a big deal and to be honest all she had to do was drive 2 of them forward somewhere. We also recommended that they give us the keys for the first truck and then all of this wouldn't have to happen. Seeing as I booked this online a week prior and they called me 24 hours in advance to confirm, they knew we were coming but were still very unorganized. This was not great service in the least.

as to for some of the employees ( Not all of them there are 2 !! who i have found be exceptionals CSR !! ) tho possibly it just for been is of for more times than not .. as iam a regular customer& rentastorage unit there too's !! the other employee's may do have bit of speaking tone is seen as dis-respect-full manerism's to in your dealings with we their customers.. whether it be mid week or early as just opened or late in day or on ultra busy weekend day's.. not matter what...it as i've been of same treatments ... they just as be for are rushings in last minutes stressed out ,panic modes inside or outside from those other persons treatment's AND iT TO BE DULY NOTED for some them .. no give 2 hoots even if be your >> "A Person of Dis-Abilities " ... to which by our laws as for them do have as so be for "Accomandting" in some form of it too's ...with as in be : " RESPECTFULL n dignitfying !! to just some kind of any a Degree . but that's an issue for whoever be is the owner of this location .. as has to be fully advising it's employees to it or just now for needs be do qik reminder/ brushing up on it ..so when be in that very specific situation's as be dealing with any a customer(s).. as may be of for some customers it not a seeable kind's of ...it be is in many of a unique un-seeable types of forms too ..as for one's who as be of an dis-abilities so be with dealings anyone as can be that of a customer enuf said

Waited 45 minutes in line. Equipment contract showed more gas than there was and less mileage than there was. No assistance finding my vehicle in the lot and I didn't have time to wait to fix details. I bit the bullet for over $15 of gas/mileage due to poor record. I took video to prove but know it's against your policy. My hands were tied. Normally it's better but yesterday was a poor experience. Staff are friendly, just lacked on details

I made a reservation to have a truck at a location near my house for a specific date and time. If I didnt think to call the next day or so because I didnt receive a phone call when I was guaranteed one, I would not have found out that my reservation location not only moved 4 locations and that the time was also not what I wanted. Every time experience I've had with uhaul it doesn't matter what your reservation is they never have your vehicle on time or in stock. It's always a problem.I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. It has been nothing but problems all 3 times with me.

After waiting in the long line, the equipment I had reserved was not there. I had to settle with a smaller trailer, the service rep was not very nice and there was no hand sanitizer available until I asked. One service rep was not wearing her mask properly. It was not professional.

Found out 3 hours before pick up that they didn't have a 15' truck and was given a 10' truck instead. Therefore I had to leave some of my stuff behind. I was also charged extra miles fee even though U-Haul switched the pick up location (to a place further from me). I will never use U-Haul again and will recommend to anyone that asks to use any other company.

Extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional employees. Despite already having dealt with a cancelled booking at another location 30 minutes away, I was treated poorly, threatened with extra fees, and told that I was lying about the lack of details I was provided with for my rescheduled booking. Basically if you book a truck at Uhaul, you guarantee yourself a CHANCE at getting a truck on the actual booking day. Requested a dolly and had to find the dolly myself and put it in the truck. I will never use Uhaul services again, and I will warn anyone I know who needs a truck rental about the terrible customer service and general experience I had with Uhaul. Save yourself the hassle and go with another reliable company!

Bad experience number 1. They cut my lock off without my permission number 2. The uhaul truck ran into my truck and messed it up and lied about it because the driver was driving recklessly and I had to call the police just to get information from the driver

Only one of the 3 staff members working behind the desk knew what they were doing. She had to help the 2 others with everything. 3 people were in line in front of me and I was next it took 25 minutes for me to get to the check out desk and another 20 mins to get the keys to my storage unit. The staff is very slow and is unable multi task. This location is convenient however I would not recommend others this time. I did appreciate the staff member resetting my swipe card when it was not done done properly the first time and bringing out a rodent trap out to me at the storage unit. All other U-Haul locations were able to use the online reservation info however I had to fill out a paper copy at this location.

It took well over an hour to get our trailer. Hooked it up and brake lights didn’t work. Staff slowly tried to fix them and an hour later said they were “tired of this”...all the while not communicating with us. Then offered a trailer at a facility at least a half hour out of our way. We asked for a truck then instead. Were given one another 1/2 hour later reluctantly with very rude staff. Our kids even commented how rude the staff were.

Parking is limited especially around the entrance and storage loading area. I always have to wait for a vehicle to leave before getting a parking spot.
