I just needed to rent a truck, and it turns out that at this location I have to give another person's phone number for them to call on the spot to get references about myself. I am told this is because someone ran over someone else in Toronto, blah blah blah. I was told truck 12 hours before my pick up that the truck I reserved was not available, they gave me a smaller one and guaranteed same price. On pick up they charged extra for insurance that was part of the "Same Price" guarantee. Very disappointing and will rent from someone else next timeMark J.

Even though I had reserved a towing kit online and was charged on my credit card when I did. The location charged me again for the kit. I noticed the day after that my card was charged twice. trucks are not in great working conditions and we feel like we got scammed as we rented through the website a truck for a long distance move for a round trip bringing it back to the original location The rate we were given online was for 3 days and 746 miles while when we returned it we ended up being charged for the whole milage of the retun trip as they included only 336 miles instead in the contract. horrible experience also when trying to book the truck. won't be using Uhaul as a compay any more.Louis A.

Customer service worker was very pleasant and helpful. The store manager was dismissive however at first, rather than coming over to explain the error and offer any resolution. In the end an alternative was provided, but any discussion about decreasing km charges to rectify the error was left to me to have call customer service despite the fact that you are placed on hold for over an hour when calling customer service.MAUREENE V.
