Not only was the truck not there to pick up but the staff didn't care one bit. They weren't helpful and made no attempt to help solve the problem. When we did finally leave with a truck they picked the one that was in the worst shape.

Didn't have the truck they promised me. I had to rent an extra truck because I couldn't fit my stuff in the smaller truck they gave me. They charged me for extra blankets that I didn't order. They even charged me for fuel becuase they said I didn't put the correct fuel amount which was completely false. I'm happy I took a picture of the dash when I parked the car. Make sure you do that - Don't trust this location! The staff is very rude and not accommodating either. I will never rent from this location ever again. Absolutely horrible customer service.

Computer systems giving problems so slow check in 1/2 hour, not good when you wanna get going! Day was very hot and truck aircon didn't work, otherwise all good. Got discount on mileage rate as smaller truck provisioned than ordered, thank you. Also saw reservation guarantee and applied for that, got it too, thank you x 2

I decline the insurance but she put it on the bill anyway. I pointed it out to her she said she removed it yet the charge is still on my credit card and it's not worth the hassle to ask a third time just will use a different company in the future

You advertise a price of $19.95 a day. Yet there is a $39.90 rental fee per day, milage fee and if you want insurance its $30. Tho I can understand the milage fee, and insurance is optional, rental rate and rental charge is the same thing and naming them differently and charging them separately is totally ridiculous. So a $19.95 a day rental came to $178. No I would not refer uhaul to anyone an would caution my family and friends about using u haul. Be up front with people as to what they are actually paying hidden fees only hurt ur reputation. I actually cancel a discount rental for this because of the advertise rate of $19.95. And I won't rent from u-haul in the future. Have a nice day.

U-Haul Contract 27544784 (my comments are mainly about the Queensway location where I was supposed to pick up my reserved trailer on 2 locations). My review of the ultimate pick up location in Rexdale were good. I reserved a 5' x 8' covered trailer at the end of June to move my daughter from Toronto to Boston for school. I arrived at the Queensway location in Etobicoke at 7am on Friday August 4th (the day I had specified on my reservation). I had received 2 emails the night before (after 10pm) confirming my reservation. I was told there were no trailers. I was told I wasn't supposed to pick it up there even though I hadn't heard otherwise. The staff offered no help whatsoever. He said I needed to call customer service. I asked if he would call and he said no. I managed to get through to customer service who then put me through to a more local person? I was told that because I had gone online and checked my reservation around 7pm the night before that the reservation was "uncovered" (I think that was the term they used) and someone else had taken my reservation. I said that was ridiculous and told her I had received the 2 emails after 10pm (hours after I had gone online). I was then told it must be a "glitch" in the system. First of all I was just told that there were no trailers and there wasn't anything they could do. I told her that I had booked time off to pack and move and that I had to have a trailer. She then offered me an uncovered trailer and I told her that this would not work as I was moving furniture, electronic equipment, mattresses, etc. As it turned out we drove through torrential rain for many hours the Saturday and everything would have been ruined, Finally she said she could get me a 5' x 8' trailer but I had to come back to the Queensway location at 11:30am that morning. I received a text message confirming my new pick up time of 11:30am (I still have all emails and texts if anyone doubts my honesty). I called my son who was going to help move and asked him to be available for the afternoon instead of the early morning as we had planned. I came back at 11:30am, I got the same gentleman behind the counter who said he didn't even recognize my although I had been with him for about 45 minutes several hours earlier. He said they didn't have any trailers and wanted to know who told me to come back. I told him it was customer service who he had told me to call and showed him the text. He was just as helpful as he had been earlier that day (i.e rude and not helpful at all) and said there was nothing he could do. I was absolutely furious. I again called the customer service number I had been given earlier and after being on hold for some time I spoke with another woman (I think it was Rachelle). I told her what had happened, she got my file and even acknowledged the confirmation sent by text. She told me there were no trailers and there was nothing she could do. I said "you are UHaul, you must be able to find me a trailer", I tol

We had two changes of location for pick-up that ended up taking us across the city with the 401 closed due to an accident - It took a LONG time. It was at over 2 hours before we returned home with the trailor (instead of our prefered local pick-up)

The truck passenger side air headed up so badly that we thought is was going to start on fire. The passenger had to sit in the middle seat to avoid this. The radio only made hissing noises . Very poor experience.

The worst customer service that I have seen in my life. I reserved the truck for 5:00 PM and when I reached the location it wasn't available. The associate that I spoke to was so rude and had no regard for the customer. I was awestruck by her behavior towards the customer. I received the truck after 6:15 PM and in the mean time I was paying for the moving help that was not doing any thing because of the unavailability of the truck. When I returned to pick up the truck, I was told that the insurance tag will be provided to me by the associate outside and that associate had no tag for me and told me to go inside to get the tag (again wasting of time in going back and forth). When I went inside told the associate that I need the tag, instead of working on it she was busy cracking jokes with the other coworker and whispering something to her and then they both would burst into laughter. Her behavior made me and my friend wonder about if they are cracking jokes about us. It made us feel humiliated as if we are some kind of laughing stock. What kind of customer service is that in which you make the customer feel uncomfortable? She has no regard for the customers. And by reading the other reviews I think even the management does not care about the customers either.

The employees were absolutely rude. When I walked in to return the vehicle I was greeted with "how are you paying," rather than a hello, or how are you. Also, I had thought I already paid and when I was asking for clarification I was given unnecessary attitude. Once the transaction was completed, the employee just proceeded to stare at me, and when I asked if it was done and everything was all clear I again, got unecessay attitude. Will not use this location ever again. Might not even rent with u-haul. Extremely disappointed.

Uhaul got so many things wrong and they were not professional at all about it. 1. You can't order for more than 1 day so I had to have 3 separate orders. They had a 17 foot tuck instead of 20 ft. The guy only said "that's impossible". I had to push to get it fixed and the girl said she got me a 20 ft truck. Only I had to habe it back by 6pm. What if I'm late? I ask. "Well sir it's all I have available". I came early for my truck and left late after the huge lineup with only 1 person working on the last day of the month...who would have know it would be a busy morning...sigh. I ended up being late...I called and the girl said I have until 830 am....um huh? Are you sure.? I dont wanna screw anyone up....etc etc. I gave her the story to make sure. ..that's when she got prissy with me. .... Nicole Anne Maries. The customer service was garbage. They did not care about the customer they had infront of them. This was not a one time thing it was both times when ordering and picking up unit. I also noticed they did not care about other customers as they were all dealt with the way I was served. I would be asking questions and they weren't even present in the sale they were talking to the other employee. when dropping off after hours I had no idea what to do as the employee did not give me instructions I also ran into another client and they had no idea either and had the same feelings about the service. I would not recommend anyone going there or using that location services. There are hunddreds of other locations! very unsatisfied! disgusted!
