Horrible customer service many people in line waiting for over half an hour one clerk was to busy on her phone and snacking to help and directed everyone to wait for the single slowest moving person I have ever seen and I work at the MTO so yah that's saying something. Equipment was in good condition but the service was so horrible I will never rent trailers from this source again .

Checking in took 45 min. I had ordered a dolly furniture but they didn't have it. They tried hard to help but the excuse was the system is slow and short of staff.

I had a trouble dealing with two ladies, one of them called herself a manager, Dean, and the other one was named Pauline. They were both aggressive, rude and have no sense of customer service! These ladies are the rudest people I have ever met! Pauline asked me to give her an alternative phone number and after she called the number, it went through to voicemail then she started to accuse me that I gave her a non-working phone number. I said that that's my friend number and is therefore active and working, however, he might be busy to take the call, but she didn't believe me and asked me to give her another number, she also said that, if the other number doesn't work when she called, she will not give me the trailer I've booked by yelling at me and also accusing me not to raise my voice! And the so-called manager, Dean was just beside her and approved whatever Pauline said. After the second phone number I gave her was OK she said that, if you bring the trailer tomorrow 1 minute late I will charge you another 24hrs fee! Absolutely terrible service, those rude women just wouldn't care less.

I returned the trailer that I rented within 24 hours yet I was charged for one additional day. Apparently the attendant who unhooked the equipment didn't go in his office to do the paperwork for another hour. Trying to get refund for 2 months so far unsuccessful.

When we arrived, they were having issues with their systems and could not pull up any orders or collect any payment. The issues with their systems took about 45 minutes to resolve before we could begin any of the processes. When we arrived, the employees were not doing anything to resolve their system issues though.

I’m New comer in Canada I booked first time it was really bad experience cause they mark the wrong on fuel gauge on paper cause it’s my first time that’s way I can’t understand. When I gone to return it they said u should fill up more I said when I pick the truck gauge is here but she didn’t agree

The staff at Rexdale location was not only incourteous but misbehaved as well. They were very reluctant to answer our questions and didn't explain our invoice to us. The machine showing different amount than what told us to pay. I was reluctant to pay and asked to bring the correct amount on the machine. After struggling and emphasizing she told us that was amount if we would pay as cash. I think, they require a refresher course and transfer to another location. The vehicle was really in a bad condition. Probably old or poorly maintained.

I requested to pickup a trick from a location (Yonge & Steels) online, and then someone called from a different location (Rexdale) to confirm my booking. When booking I did get the notification saying 'this booking isn't guaranteed, someone will call you tomorrow to confirm', but it would be good to know that what I am booking is set in stone at the time of booking. I live by Yonge & Steels, so I had to adjust my schedule and drive further. Overall, this wasn't a big deal, just a way you could improve :)

Have a back up system when the system goes down. Staff were amazing under what was out of their control, but customers who preregistered were left hanging. However, UHaul head office was on the job offering compensation which made up for the lengthy wait.

I had to wait in line for more than an hour. The dolly that I reserved was not available. Instead of giving me a substitute flat bed for free as a replacement, I was charged full price for such a substitute that was inadequate for my needs. Staff had adequate knowledge, but were not friendly.

First of all, my reservation was screwed up, I reserved a 10' truck and ended up with a 15' truck that the clerk, for some unknown reason could not change. That cost me an additional $10 plus taxes. Secondly, I traveled an entire 17 KM, I put in $10 worth of gas which is more than enough to cover 17km and STILL there was a $15 plus taxes charge for gasoline on my final invoice. I have been a loyal customer to UHaul for many years, however these types of in-competencies are a game changer. Hope the additional $25 plus taxes that I was forced to payout goes a long way to helping your bottom line, cause you just lost a customer. PS I do not blame the customer satisfaction girl that served me, it is your system that sucks or perhaps more training for her would be helpful.

The quote at this location was very high. Went on line and got truck for approx. $500 less. When I told them of the difference they did not care. Had to take truck back as the back door would not open. They WD40'd it and it worked. The employee that helped me with this was very friendly and helpful.

The truck had huge issues with the transmission and the mirrors were extremely hard to move cause of rust - very unsafe !!!!!! Awful experience checking in and returning

The lady at counter , start walking out , while I was standing at counter, she was not attentive when came back, it took 30 min to get equipment! Trailer was full of snow! Young staff, like to chat! Not pay attention to client and one feels like you are nothing!
