The software/website to drop off the trailer after hours, Did not work. Calling in took over an hour. Not impressed with this software. Fortunately the staff at the location where great issues resolved.

The front desk people are not friendly. They seem to ignore the customers. When i went in i was standing in front of the ciunter no one asked to help me someone after me was served first. The return process during the dsy is a disaster . It seems the people in returns have other roles to play. It took me around 30minutes to just return it . Just sat there waiting and waiting. Seriously, the amount of time that I used the van was shorter than the rturn process just think of that. I hope you folks can improve your service competition is everywhere.

I had booked this 2 months prior to my move and would have expected more communication instead of the day before. I expressed that the Rexdale location was too far and that I don't have a car - the response of the agent was to just take an Uber? I was called back by another agent afterwards and they offered $50 off the booking (which covered most of the Uber) as well as 50 extra kilometres so that helped - but the agent from Rexdale wasn't helpful.

Racquel H. | First ImpressionsI've moved into two other self-storage facilities in GTA recently. U-Haul on Rexdale was the best by far. I'm a female. I could not lift the door on the locker in one facility any more than 2 and 1/2 feet. It was hard getting in and out. I vacated my items without even asking for a refund. The other facility didn't bother to clean out the locker before renting. I ended up spending a day purchasing a small broom, and sweeping the entire locker ... I am not comfortable with the locker without having washed the floor, so I keep a box of sanitary wipes in the locker. The security at U-Haul is excellent because access hours are limited, and there appears to be a number of people always around. It is very very very clean and apparently, the lockers are kept in good repair. Furthermore, the staff are very considerate and friendly. The individual who introduced me to the locker initially, took the time to be very explicit and clear in her instructions. If U-Haul on Rexdale, had a locker large enough, I would definitely be staying despite this location being quite a distance from my home in North York.

I did appreciate the staff member resetting my swipe card when it was not done done properly the first time and bringing out a rodent trap out to me at the storage unit. All other U-Haul locations were able to use the online reservation info however I had to fill out a paper copy at this location.
