The cleaners are very rude. As a first time costumer. I don't know what to do after you drop the car so i kinda ask the cleaner what should i do. And the cleaner told me that i need to logged put online. And i did so. After that i didn't know that the process need to take a couple of pictures to finish the log out. So when i try to get inside the vehicle the two lady argue with me and said i can't get in the vehicle cause they just cleaned it that was only 2mins after i drop the truck. I was very disappointed with this experience and hope that the workers should be well trained to be friendly and understandable with this sintuation.Eduardo T.
I had two major issues with my rental: 1) it had a quarter of a tank of gas when I picked it up which should never happen. The first thing I had to do was go get gas which made me late for my moving time slot in my condo. 2) it was raining while I was driving to my new location and the truck has so much water leak into it that it completely ruined all my boxes. The inside was soaked. It was brutal. Unfortunately I was very dissatisfied with my overall experience.Douglas O.

I arrived to pickup the truck at 8 am . My reservation was changed to 9 am. I didn't get the truck till 10am. I had to lose 2 hours paying my movers . The AC didn't work in truck.MICHEAL C.
The wait at this location was ridiculous. It took me over an hour and a half to pick up my truck rental. When I finally got the keys and went to move it, a different truck was parked in front and it took forever to have someone move it out of the way to get my rental. The cashier who processed everything was rude and condescending. She argued with me that I didn't upload my drivers license or add my husband and his information online. I advised her that on my order number, it listed both myself and my husband as an additional driver. She went in to argue well if you did, it would be on my system. I had no problem resubmitting this information but the fact that she had a rude comment was unacceptable. I explained to her that both my name and my husbands was listed so she can't accuse me of not doing it. It was just a very poor experience, I would never allow my staff to give the attitude this woman did. I've rented two other equipments in the last few weeks without any issues and both the other locations were fantastic. I will never be returning to the Rexdale location again.THUYTHANHJACKIE N.
I waited almost 1 hour in line to pickup the van even though I had reserved online. The servers were slow and when the line extended outside past the entrance doors, no further servers assisted on the third window to speed things up. There should be a seperate line for those who made online reservations. Also, when I finally got processed a full one hour into my time that I didn't have the use of the van, I was still expected to return the rental 4 hrs. later instead of 4 hours later from the time I had signed it out. Next time tell the customer that you have to fill up the gas all the way back up to where it was before and you're getting charged per kilometre which makes no sense if I'm paying for kilometre. Also your damage protection insurance and no dent in the truck sign. It's a storage truck things will happen have the right systems in place to protect the truck sides like covers. I feel that's a trap for a money grab. How do I go from paying $19.95 to $101 absolute nightmare. Plus $35 gas fill. Where do I start? I created my reservation on April and you charged in full in advance. I didn't mind this as long as I receive the truck I wanted for the date I needed it. Like two weeks before the day I needed the truck somebody from Uhaul kept changing the hour that I needed. And 48 hours before of the date Uhaul didn't guarantee my truck. It has always been a one way reservation and the customer service kept changing it to drop off to the same location as the pick up. I had to complain on Twitter to actually get the truck and the hour I wanted. When I finished with the truck I dropped it on the location of the reservation. But somebody change it to drop off at the pick up location and I got charge +$500 for â€œdropping at wrong locationâ€ I complaint to the phone customer service and the woman that picked up the phone said that she didn't see anything about dropping off in Ottawa. I had to complaint (again) at Twitter and they responded super fast that I will get my money back. At the time I wrote this review I haven't received the money back (it is Sunday) but I'm super sure that the Twitter team will resolve my problem. I wouldn't trust the Rexdale location not even for telling me what time is it? I will double check with my watch this informationRicardo Antonio C.

There was along line. The lady asked to use the app, but it did not work and we have to wait in line. I booked the equipment at Warden and 401 location. When I came to this location it was told us to go to Rexdale location and time changed to 4p.m without our consent. It was very hard for me. It was worst experience with U Haul,Syed T.
Make sure that the overall operation of the vehicle is in good condition. The truck I got had major issues with its transmission, it got stuck in second gear for a while and then would kick violently into third. The other issue I had was very bad wheel alignment. Causing the truck to veer to the left on the highway. For me that's dangerous for the average driver to handle and is putting people's lives at risk.LIBERTORICARDO B.

UHaul - feedback to. May 31, 2021 If we have to go out of our way to a far location, we should receive time consideration. Already we pay a lot more in mileage costs plus extra gas. I was told the cargo van was just outside at the fence. It was not. It was a much further distance away. Delay in locating the vehicle, a far corner of a long building was not considered. The cargo floor was wet, from previous day's heavy rains. I located the onsite person. The onsite person recommended airing, but being hard of hearibg I didn't hear how. I opened the driver's side window. 3rd rental day charged though I did have the reasonable extenuating circumstances. I asked to retain the vehicle for a third day as the work is not yet finished. That was not given as an extenuating solution. The previous time I left the load at the dock and my cell phone was out of energy. Somebody was there to know I came back in reasonable time. They need some customer service training. I ended losing 2 platform dollies of legal books on that occasion. And being charged extra. The second time I was charged a third day. Yet I had to take the time up and back. And then again on return. No leeway.Stephen V.
I didn't have a problem with this location. I was very disappointed with the overall experience. 30mins before picking up my reservation at Queensway I was told my truck was no longer available and that I had to go to Rexdale and could only get one at 3:30p. When I arrived to Rexdale there was a huge line up so by the time I ended up getting a truck it was 4:15pm which ate up into my moving time. The truck I ended up with too was a 10 vs the 15 I originally requested. So all of my furniture didn't fit and I ended up having to rent another truck another day to finish the move.Melissa C.

It was the worse ever experience I had for my moving. I booked a 15 foot truck near my location, but they changed my reservation in the last minute by changing my truck size from 15 foot to 20 foot and changed my pick up point to another city with 1 hour driving by car to get there. They only had one person at the desk even though there was a very long line.customers even knocked on the door to ask another rep for assistance and she showed her food said I'm on lunch and closed the door.When I tried checking in she did not help and told me do it online.when I did the check in online it needed me to share my location and I was no longer at the uhaul I called the location to ask how do I bypass that step she answered the phone saying "uhaul please hold" and never came back on the phone I had to hang up and tried getting through to customer service and there was a 40 min wait. Finally when I tried checking in again it said I no longer have a vehicle to check in I got an email with an attachment that's supposed to be my receipt but it would not open so up to now I don't know what the final cost was. I was at two of your locations on May 29 2021 to pick up a trailer that I rented first we went to weston rd they told us not at this location to go to the other when we arrived there the girl that was to help us told us it was not at this location I went on to explain to her we were already at weston rd location and they told us to come there she was rude to me right from the start they my boyfriend came to the counter and it was like I went invisible to her .The trailer we were to pick up at 10 am took us until 1230 . It was a really bad experience, I made the reservation online and when I got there the person in charge online ask me for a passport or my new lease agreement, of course I don't carry that with me often. So it took 1 extra hour to get the truck after several phone calls. The guy online was trying to talk with my personal contact. So I lost this hour for my rental truck. Only one of the 3 staff members working behind the desk knew what they were doing. She had to help the 2 others with everything. 3 people were in line in front of me and I was next it took 25 minutes for me to get to the check out desk and another 20 mins to get the keys to my storage unit. The staff is very slow and is unable multi task. This location is convenient however I would not recommend others this time. I did appreciate the staff member resetting my swipe card when it was not done done properly the first time and bringing out a rodent trap out to me at the storage unit.
