I was unable to get the van out because of how it was parked until someone rented and moved a van. Returned the van next to the â€œreturn signâ€ but was yelled at by an employee to move around the building and no staff member was willing to go outside to check me in, read odometer, etc. They wanted to do it later which would have kept my meter running.ANDREW M.
There's room for improvement at this location. For example, no one bothered to show us where the trucks were located, gate didn't work, preselected equipment wasn't loaded into truck, keys weren't in truck and checkin Lady made me walk back to truck multiple times when she could have been way more helpful. But want to point out Ronita Morgan who went above and beyond in helping us even though she wasn't the one who checked us in. For example, Ronita saw us looking for truck and assisted with keys. We called to get an extension and got hung up on. We ultimately got the truck back to location on time despite the delays that caused from the morning check in and Ronita assisted with the truck return and greeted us with a smile which was much appreciated since moves are always stressful and having someone at this location actually are and be helpful should be the standard. I have used this U-Haul location twice now and am happy to have moved away just so that I never have to step foot in there again. The first time was 3 years ago and the location did not have gas in any of the trucks and I had to wait over an hour for them to get gas for the trucks. During this move they first changed my reservation time and then, after checking in, when I showed up to pick-up my truck they said there were none available. It turns out they had one that was being used the next day so they tried to cancel my reservation where I would be dropping it off 5 miles away. Again, I had checked-in, gotten a confirmation of check-in, and they still tried to not provide me with a truck with zero notification. It took about an hour to sort this out which put us significantly behind in my move. The workers are unprofessional and the location is a mess. I was disappointed that most of the equipment I reserved online was not available when I came to pick up the truck but thankfully my building had two large flatbed dollies that we used so everything worked out. Roanita and the other staff were extremely kind and helpful which is always appreciated especially for something as stressful as moving day. My only critique would be if additional equipment is reserved online with the truck, those items should be put aside and put on the truck that was reserved for that customer.Julia B.

I was behind in picking up my U-Haul rental by an hour 30 minutes, and the staff still worked with me to pick up the first rental available outside of the already reserved vehicles. The staff went above and beyond. Each of them deserve a round of applause and pay increase because it's difficult to keep great people like this in place without paying them properly. Roannita was one of the three most helpful with making sure I had a rental. I didn't get the names of the other two, but I wouldn't be moved without their assistance.TARIQ S.

The oil was less than half full. That's not good for the truck and Instagram for the customer if he changes tobone way. There was no maintenance people to put in an extra couple quarts of oil, and nobody was willing to let me buy the oil and reimburse me. The truck i rented had no a/c and less than a 1/3 tank of gas. I had to get gas before i moved anything. Thank God it was not a 105 degree day and the move was not very far, but still it was very miserable loading and unloading without air conditioning to cool down in between. The truck was rather sticky inside and had damage on all four sides. I'm concerned because the website stopped working when I tried to document this. The staff simply said "that happens sometimes so just document it yourself." The dolly wheel was broken upon first getting into the vehicle. The previous renter also left the gas on empty. Luckily I found a gas station in time but it was nerve-racking having to find a gas station that was open at 645am.Braeden K.

I cannot remember the name of the woman who helped me (black woman with braids and red highlights, said she was the manager of the storage part of the experience, i think her name was four letters long), but she was awesome. super friendly, helpful, fast and was able to remember me when I came back later in the day to take care of an issue. she was also helping out all the junior staff around her like a boss. I was told I had access from 5am-10pm, and was given a security card to get into the storage facility during those times that the office wasn’t open. When I came to the facility at 9:45pm one night and tried to get in, my card wouldn’t work.
