Please be advised store manager Nakita Settles had a burning storage area located on the second floor near my previous storage room 2425 that entire storage area jeot a temperature feeling like 102-200 degrees hot balls of sweat pouring off body and clothing I reported to police officer when they called first district police on me please contact me and return my payment back from July 25 through August 14,2026 management had illegally Evicted me I. Red half of my last monthly payment reimbursed back to me I paid $214.00 .00 cash with late fee and I had an injury being discharged in pain I tried to rest with my injury and I explained to management she still went against me no quality air circulation I was exhausted I wanted to file a civil action case against management. at 1501 South capitol st SW people has access to 24 hour storage they came in all hours and they stay and sleep through their visit and she allow them to do that. I tried to ask for Mr Craig regional bc Iwner and he gas not reached out to me yet I have already complained about her through VRovin and other regional staff but no one helped they let her evict me I could have had a heat stroke I was in that heated room for almost 4 months Spanish cleaning lady told me to go to the air room to get air and the manager wanted me to stay in the hot room like I was not allowed in the cold room at all I was not treated like a customer their and I paid a lot of money out I had to elevate my leg I had burn marks and the storage room assigned to me was burning my left leg I laid down to elevate and less pain they took pictures and falsely accused me of titillating the officers left that was on the scene stated it was a civil matter I gave police cards that they constantly called on me tried to get them to lock me up gave police a bar notice for 5 years valid please give me my payment back for putting Mrs through this bad thing during my stay 8 police officers came out 2:00 pm on August 11,2026? and 4:00 pm on August 11,2926 8 officers total and I did not disrespect not 1 staff member to have that bad thing happen to me please have the owner Mr Craig to please reach out to me on [redacted]

Patricia R | Overall ExperienceInconvenienced at its finest. This location is so poorly ran that a toddler could do a better job than the employees. I was given the run around quite literally ALL day yesterday. From walking in the door at 7am to a line of people confused about the U-haul truck rental process to receiving the U-Haul only to be gaslit about the side mirrors being adjustable when they were indeed jammed. I could not drive off of the lot and instead of just being given a different rental, I wasted over an hour and a half of my time with management trying to convince me that I was just weak when I’m far from that. After finally receiving a different rental, I proceeded to go two blocks down to pack my things and returned well before the 1pm drop off time in which we agreed upon. The only reason I even went with this storage unit in the beginning is because it’s walking distance from my home, the particular unit size I required was located on the third floor and since their elevator was down, I wasted promised that I was going to have movers help in order to do so, and the first month was going to be free. Show up to drop off my things for the move-in help in which news flash, there wasn’t any and then they magically found a second floor unit for me. That’s fine but I start unloading my belongings just to find out that the unit has a lock on it which means that you assigned me someone else’s unit. I move out of my apartment in a day and they claimed that they wouldn’t have anyone to move my things in until Monday. I wasted my entire day in confusion thanks to this location and had to find another storage unit last minute nowhere near my current apartment which forced me to drive well over the mileage I’d agreed upon. Vehicle wasn’t even on full and had the nerve to try and charge me OVER $60 for gas. I won’t ever rent from U-Haul again and if I do, it most definitely will not be from this location.
