The sales associate I had was in her phone the entire time. It’s a little unprofessional and it goes to show the employee doesn’t value her job or the customers.

Needs better management. Employees were smoking cigarettes in the garage and even drove the uhaul out while still smoking a cigarette. I waited forever because the cashier was actually checking her instagram while somewhat doing her work. Very bad employees. Van otherwise worked well.

I had to go to two locations because the first one forgot about my reservation. The second location was almost a bust as well but an employee happened to be coming back to the location and saw us trying to figure things out. At the very end of the rental (an 18-mile trip) the app tried to charge me $2600+ for a week long trip. It was all settled and customer service was very helpful but I’m worried about trying to use uhaul again.

Management and professionalism should be taken more serious. I also had a TERRIBLE experience while my personal belongings were in storage for 34 days. Nice ate through my things and management did not to be concerned but yet, I have to pay a full months storage rent even though I took my things out 5 days into the month ! Terrible ustoner servive operators as well. I feel as if there is no one to complain to within this company because so have yet have anyone follow up on my complaints of service. I’ve just decided to not use this company in all ! Never again.

At drop off the staff discouraged me from using the app saying it takes a long time (up to 30 minutes). I went inside to one staff member helping a line 8 people deep. While waiting in line I went through the process on the app and 5 minutes later was ready to go. Again at drop off it was not clear where to go so I opened the app and as soon as a staff member saw me doing that he told me that it was going to mess up my reservation over charge me and I need to go to the garage (which was blocked by another staff member just sitting in a truck). I had a great experience with the truck but was soured by the staffs insistence that I not use the app despite it actually making it easier and faster for me.

My experience was really good. The people was very friendly and the price wasn't bad I had a uhaul van for one day then I went back the next day to get another one. I could make it back on time so they let me keep it over night for a small cost. I love uhaul over renting a car. U haul is more than just hauling furniture I went shopping. Yes I would recommend someone to consider using uhaul

I rented a U-Haul from the Capitol South location and had a terrible experience. It took over an hour to pick the U-Haul up. It was nearly impossible to find the correct truck. Once I found the truck, I noted that it was completely out of fuel and U-Haul refused to do anything about it. I just received my final invoice and was charged for driving 450 miles in a span of 12 minutes. This is quite clearly physically impossible. I've been on the phone for over 45 minutes trying to convince someone to remove the charge, which is more than $800, and still haven't found a resolution. This is absolutely unacceptable service. I am phenomenally disappointed in my experience with U-Haul and will not rent from this company again.

This place was very upside down the staff was not sure of things going on. Not sure why this location is still open. The only knowledge person was the staff helping with explaining how to use the uhaul in the back. Front office staff needs to be changed.

My credit card was overcharged (JoAnn Graves) and I don't understand how that could have happened. I was very upset once I was told this as you all shouldn't charge a customer until they sit down with one of your people. My card was charged before I got in the store and then I was told its going to take 5 days before I'm reimbursed. That's crazy. I won't use U-Haul the next time I need a truck and I've utilized your service at least 4 times (not including this time). The mistake was made on your end and now I the customer have to suffer. I need my money and five days to get it refunded it unacceptable to me but what can I do. I will be contacting the Corporate office about this as well.

Expedite vehicle check-in. I didn’t get out of the U-Haul location with my vehicle until 45 minutes after the check-in time. Additionally, when I came to turn the vehicle in I showed up at 7:07 and the garage was still open so I pulled up to the outside. The woman working inside proceed to yell at me as if I had done something wrong since I didn’t pull it around back. I understand it was 7 minutes past closing time, however, there are certain ways to deal with customers and that isn’t the way to build brand loyalty. Once I proceeded around back to park the van, there was a U-Haul worker working in a trailer that was connected to a truck which restricted access into the lot which delayed my drop off by another 25 minutes while I waited for a solution. All in all the pick up and drop off can be cleaned up substantially.

The location and equipment were fine. The staff were a little rude. One woman in particular actually misread the gas gauge when I picked up the truck (said there was 3/8s of a tank when there was 1/4), adamantly refused to admit that she was wrong when I pointed it out, and I was charged $18 for fuel I didn't use.

Front desk/check in staff was lovely and knowledgeable and efficient. Truck was not maintained well and dirty on the inside when I received it and the furniture pads had nuts and washers in them and bird poop and other dirt

Truck not ready and dirty. Staff did sweep out the back before giving it to us but the cap was still dirty. Staff very unorganized and unfriendly. This was easily the worst experience with U Haul I have ever had and the price has gone up so it was also the most expensive rental from U Haul I have had.
