Service at the store was great. UHaul corprorate service, however, was terrible. My reservation was for 7/1/17 at the 1107 W. Broad St, Falls Church location. when i called the day before to confirm, i was told my reservation was moved to Alexandria VA but they were overbooked. i had to take off work, pick it up a day early and pay an additional day rental because of UHaul's mistake. I'm not very happy that my reservation was moved, no trailer was available, i had to pay an additional day of rental, and i lost pay at work. This was not a store location issue. this was a Uhaul website booking issue.

Big waste of time. Location is understaffed at the counter and computer system freezes, as a result customers have to wait along time. I had a pick up on Saturday and today and both visits were disappointing.

There was barely room to drop off the vehicle. It took us about 30 minutes to park the truck so that we weren't blocking anything. Maybe offer extra/street parking.

The guy who pick up the van from me and he is the same guy who gave me the van was so rude and racist .he was talking to me as if yelling at me with no smile .I was scared that he might hit me for a while.baaad experience .never recommend this specific place to no body.

Real poor customer service. Lady I dealt with was rude and kept rolling her eyes at me. Plus location I came from on st barnabas road. Marlow heights location was even worse. Never using uhaul again and actual been telling all my friends and family to never support them again.

Staff asked me to make a dangerous move the would have resulted in property damage to my vehicle and Uhaul equipment. They were insistent after I refused. I had to tell them 3 times before they went and got keys

Took a long time to get the truck, didn't get a dolly even though the site said that there was one available to be rented to me, and it was a hassle getting my staff person to be able to pick up the car w/o incident to help a client who was already going through a traumatic experience. I was sick at home, and had to deal with calling both the center and 1-800-U-Haul to get it eventually sorted out. The only positive part was that the woman who was helping my staffperson who was there to pick up the truck was very professional. She was attempting to do her job as the frontline staff person, and was respectful when talking to us--even when we disagreed about what needed to happen next. I can appreciate that.

The customer service of the personnels. While this location is ideal for most downtown Washington DC movers, some of the personnels at the service counter always look unhappy and very unfriendly. They look angry when you walk up to the counter and seem to be screaming or yelling instead of asking questions politely. This may just be me but my few trips to this location has been met with very unfriendly staffs especially the one who wrote the contract for my last rental (Contract 88901996). I will recommend for management to review the tapes of how the personnels interact with the customers and maybe educate them a little more on customer service etiquettes. Other than that, the cars and containers seem very clean and personnels at the receiving / returns seem much pleasant and customer friendly. They will welcome you and ask if everything was ok during your rental and not the yelling and screaming encountered inside.

There was a miscommunication between the person who accepted my equipment rental at the desk and another U-Haul employee in the parking lot where I actually went to drop it off. The person at the desk unconcernedly told me that I could drop off my equipment anywhere "as long as it was off the street" and then the parking lot employee spoke rather roughly to be telling me that I needed to get it out of the way of a truck he was driving. It wasn't a particularly friendly or pleasant experience.

I had to wait 45 minutes past my reservation time to get a truck, which led to increased fees for the movers. Truck was leaking water onto my furniture and boxes because of a leak. Will likely not use Uhaul for next move.
