Long lineup. Spent over 30 minutes waiting in line despite a long lineup. Only 2 agents working the desk making the lineup extensive and at one point, had almost 15 people waiting from 9-10am

You need a better way to measure how much fuel is used by the customer because when I got the truck the fuel gauge is at 1/4 with the bar below the line. I returned it at 1/4 with the bar on top of the line and this could be at least 4 to five liters of fuel more than required.

Van was not clean on the outside when we picked it up. Upon return of the vehicle, it seemed odd that the attendant went right to a covered scratch with dirt on it an rubbed the dirt off and found a scratch. I did not notice that scratch when we picked up the vehicle because of the dirt on the vehicle. He insinuated I scratched it. That simply was not the case. I am very careful with the inventory I rent or lease. All in all though I have always enjoyed renting from Uhaul and will continue to do so. Next time though I will request the vehicle is washed upon pick up.

The facilities are not run according to the schedule outlined by The door (garage access doors closed and locked earlier then scheduled resulting in multiple patrons having to unload untied trucks through a single mandoor without loading dock access). Pathetic access to those facilities as well as to the separate and convoluted storage sections. Overall it’s a terribly run local central office that doesn’t communicate properly with its headquarters. Nothing positive to say unfortunately which isn’t my style :/

I booked online and did the work on line for a quick check in, and then had to stand in line and provide the same info all over again. My booking was for 4 hours, I returned the van within the time frame but was charged $20 for an after hour fee. Not appropriate. I did a self check out anyway, so why the fee?

I would still recommend this Uhaul location to a friend as the selection is huge and have had good experiences in the past. However, the reason for the below average rating is that the last time we rented a trailer we had bug issues with the equipment not working properly. Two trailers were connected to my vehicle and the lights on the trailer didn't work, the staff said it was an issue with my car, so we frantically tried to get in for a service somewhere for a couple hours and couldn't but then went to my car dealership and had the wires tested, they worked. So, the issue was that the Uhaul equipment was not properly maintained, and we wasted a lot of time to try and fix a problem that didn't exist rather than Uhaul staff looking for another trailer that worked. It was a very large waste of time for us when we were somewhat rushed. Maintaining the wiring the the trailers better would have solved this problem. Thanks.

I made a reservation 5 weeks ago at the North Delta location for a trailer. I went in and personally confirmed this a week before the reservation date. The eve of the rental I was called and was told I would have to pick up the trailer in Vancouver. A total shock and inconvenience and time waster. When I got there I asked if I could drop it off in Langley for no charge due to this issue. Immediately I was told by a rude clerk NO. This lack of customer service has left a bad taste to the quality of Uhaul. Not impressed and will tell this story many times. Let’s see if anybody actually reads these surveys.

The guys there were awesome. Service was very quick. The girl that we got when we called u-haul while in Edmonton was also fantastic. She did everything in her power to get us a u-haul right away on the day we were supposed to pick it up. A couple of the distances were to far of a drive but she kept looking and found one fairly close.

My truck broke down way out in the countryside and had to be towed by a giant tow truck. You wasted 5 hours of my life as I stood around waiting or was on the phone with your agents or taking a $78 taxi ride to another city to pick up another truck to try to salvage my day and get my job done. Plus you pushed my travelling into the rush hour period when I hit all kinds of traffic snarls and accidents. The whole day was a fiasco. And you still want to charge me the $124 for the rental plus you said you'd refund my taxi but I'm not sure that's going to happen. I might have forgiven you if you had comped the whole day and refunded me the taxi but now I have to fight with you about it. One chance for your manager to call me on Monday. Otherwise unforgivable and horrendous customer care. It will be going on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

They overcharged my service and I have photos of gas tank and they told me I did not fill it to half which I did upon return. Very rude customer service just looking to make an extra $20. Would not use this location again.

While the Marine Drive location was excellent because it had the truck we needed and the process was very good, it would've been a lot better if the truck we ordered had been delivered to the location we chose. We ended up with a $40 taxi bill to get there. Also, I feel better information should be given about having a third person in the cab of the 15' truck. I am under 5'3" and it was challenging to sit in the centre seat. A taller person would have a very difficult time sitting there.

I had a terrible experience with uhaul, if you want to improve then have people around who know what is going on and can help. If someone makes a reservation, honour that reservation and don't change their time of pickup. Get rid of the person at customer service who gives attitude to customers instead of helping. This was awful service and I will never use it again.

I had come across on the ferry to move and realized the key to the locker was in my coat pocket in my truck in Nanaimo. I had to call a locksmith. It would have been nice if you had the tool on site

The facility on Marine Drive was always spotless and security was tight. I had 24 access and never seen it otherwise even in off hours. Staff is friendly and helpful. Online billing Is convenient

Hours are not convenient. Dropping off your truck and filling out all the online questions is super inconvenient. Never pick up the phone when trying to deal with you. Hold times too long

I will NEVER recommend SE MARINE UHAUL. This location is the worst. They have second floor lockers without elevators which means you lift everything twice as much. office needs more staff. hours suck.

On three different occasions I set up a date and time in advance (in store) to access my Ubox and when I got there they didn't have me scheduled. I had to wait over an hour once and no access twice.

My overall experience is good but it was really hard to get someone on the phone to process my move out. I've had to call 3 days in a row where each time I was expecting a call back but nobody called.
