Huge, impressive U-Haul company, really super efficient return service. Never even got inside the office. 5 Star outfit

lineup to see a customer service rep was over 45 minutes I checked in online and then 24/7 online pickup took 25 minutes - extremely poor service

Have a back up convenience plan for customers when someone uses the online check in system and it breaks down. In our case it doubled the time for us to get our truck. And then we weren’t offered any compensation for the inconvenience.

Well above my expectations. Will definitely rent from this location again. Cheers John

I was given a truck that had nearly 100 more km showing than the amount of km in the contract. In addition, the fuel was only up to 1/8 instead of 1/4. And I got charged for all that. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !! I will have to got back and try to get my STOLEN MONEY BACK !!!

Last minute rental, obviously a truck that they didn’t have time to clean thoroughly. The payload area was clean but the cab stank of cigarettes, was visibly grubby and the steering wheel was sticky. Honestly, I don’t mean nd to much about the dirt but the stench of cigarettes left me feeling a bit nauseous.

Going through a ''Central'' telephone system is a pain especially when the US doesn' t know that Canada exists.

I rent from Uhaul at least a few times a month and now I only want to come to this location. The service is fast. The vans are clean and drop off is easy. It is the best Uhaul location in Vancouver.

The service at the front desk was great but when we received the U-Haul they stated the gas was way higher then it actually was. They were happy to adjust but it’s the second time in a row this has happened. We rented the U-Haul to pick up a new couch and when we were loading the couch I noticed a large amount of oil on my leg. The inside of the U-Haul had oil everywhere. We spent 30 minutes cleaning the inside but unfortunately it ruined a pair of pants and a little bit got on our brand new couch. When we told the staff about the experience all they said was sorry we will do better next time. We won’t be using U-Haul again.

It would be helpful to be a little more organized with the process of getting a truck at the time we needed. While this location was great, it was also the third place we had to go to finally get a truck. It was a long ways away from our home and we ended up having people waiting to help us because it took us so long to actually get a truck.

I am currently filing a dispute for unethical conduct. After having one rental from you I was charged 500 plus tax in addition to my rental charges, without warrant nor confirmation. Agents confirmed that timing was appropriate and that I wouldn't be charged. Upon some personal account I saw that $500 "fee" was charged to my card and not refunded. I can be reached at 778-875-6793 as I am looking to have this rectified right away. #23267267

I booked a pickup truck ahead of time, with instructions of needing a hitch. It was confirmed two times before the rental date. I went through the express rental checkin, thinking it would make things faster. It didn't seem to make much difference as the truck was not ready, they could not find the keys, assigned a new truck, and looked for a hitch. After going through the counter for the admin part, I went outside and waited for 15 minutes for them to get a truck together. I took a video of 5 minute intervals during the wait, to show how express check in, does not work. That truck should have been parked out front, waiting for me to do a simple walk around, hand me the keys, and go.

I was not impressed with the fact that my young kids found 3 joints in a box under the seat of my rental truck. Obviously not thoroughly cleaned before renting them back out. Not impressed

U-Haul is a hassle, when it doesn't need to be. Also, if it's impossible to only pay $20 for a rental (or $19.95) stop advertising it. There are way too many hidden fees that catch people off guard. It doesn't make your customers feel good. You should just advertise the trucks at $45 plus fuel because all your hidden fees are not optional. You're still way cheaper than most of your competitors and people wouldn't feel duped. Also, trucks should have a full tank of fuel at time of pickup. Giving me a truck with less than half a tank and asking for the fuel level to be the same is strange and difficult. It seems U-Haul is more interested in charging extra for fuel than simply ensuring the tank is full. Solution: if the truck is brought back without a full tank, FILL IT before renting it out again and charge the customer as you currently would.

Vehicle pasenger tax!? Are u kidding me?! 19.95 a day, over 3 days is over 200 dollars!?

It's way too expensive for kilometers if you do a long drive

The washrooms were filthy. Although there were 3 employees inside the facility that were not busy with customers, none of them would contact a taxi for me.

Better training needed for your telephone representatives. After calling to confirm our reservation, we learned that one of your telephone agents double booked our truck and did not even call us to inform us of her error and that there was no truck available for us. I just happened to call 4 hours later because I had an uneasy feeling about the agent. She made numerous errors with our personal information. I was made aware of these errors by the second agent who went thru the contact information. Firstly the truck was reserved in the wrong name, wrong telephone number and no email information was recorded even tho I had supplied to the first agent. It took numerous phone calls and a total of over 3hours on the phone trying to get things sorted out. What a nightmare! I had also requested a telephone recording of our communication which was not forwarded to me. Would you please review the recorded telephone conversations and follow up with me. We have rented from uhaul in the past a few times as well and there have never been any issues however, our most recent experience with your telephone agent was horrible.

I booked the truck online, but counter staff insisted I go through the whole process inside. If you're going to make an app to expedite the rental process, have the stores actually honour the data that's been put in. I should be able to go to the store, and immediately get the vehicle, not have to wait in line - which was the point!!

Excellent service all around.

Dashboard of van hadn't been dusted during it's lifecycle; Online check-in did not save me any time - as you promote on your website; Return was simple and straightforward.

Communication between staff. I was told to go around back to pick up my trailer, and got there to find another customer standing around. We both stood around for 10-15 minutes, no-one showing up, and no obvious way to get ahold of staff. The store's number was busy and I was on hold for about half that time. I jogged around to let them know they had orphaned customers standing around, and someone came out at that point. Not the end of the world, and the rental was otherwise fine, but with only a 4 hour rental, an extra quarter-hour standing around was a bit annoying.
