Lots of selection of vehicles. More than any other one for sure. I notice that so much of your retail merchandise is often completely empty. If I was the manager of this place I would focus on general merchandising standards and keep things "neat clean and full". One section could be worth hundreds of dollars in lost revenue. 20 blanks which I counted would be worth several thousands per month. Its really feedback on focusing on the things that actually drive your business rather than trying to focus on classifying a two day rental an out of town move and trying to get more out of a customer when you guys are clearly in stock in an off peak period of the month. I will continue to provide feedback so long as I am a customer even I want you guys to change and be successful more than you do.

I phoned for a 5x8. I get there and told there's only 5x9, so I pay extra. When I go to hook up, there's a 5x8 right behind the 5x9. That's a lousy way to upcharge a customer.

Had some frustration with the reservation system. I reserved a 6X12 cargo trailer for my move and was told 24hrs before the move none were available, but I could have a 5X8, which would not even be close to what I needed. I really had to scramble to get the the bigger trailer, but was successful. Uhaul needs to tighten up it's reservation system. People need to know the equipment they reserve is really available, not that they will see what's available right before pickup. The location I picked up my trailer at did a good job of getting me in and out their store, everything went smoothly.

I have rented from this location about 10 times over the last 5 or so years. The recent rental experience has improved 500%. There are now more check in counters so less wait time. But more importantly, the staff are now friendly, smiling, interacting with other staff happily, etc. - which makes a massive difference - previously they were sour, grumpy and confrontational. One thing which other rentals do and would help here with the refill to the same fuel level as when rented - advising how many litres the tank holds - eg. if it hold 40 litres and you used 1/4 tank, then know to refill about 10 litres to bring to same level. Floors, van cargo area, seats, etc. were all reasonably clean, but dashboard, console, etc. was very dusty / dirty. Light kept coming on saying "needs oil soon". Otherwise, great improvement over the years.

The quote we overhead from a nearby customer for one way renral was absurd! In town is reasonable. Out of town/one way was absurd!

When we got there we did the self serve option on my phone. As we were waiting for an agent to validate my ID, one of the U-Haul people got in our van and started it. I followed him to the back of the van to find him starting to give the keys to a different person. I had to stop him and explain that he was taking my van. He gave me the keys and left to sort out the other people. As my partner and I finished up the self serve and started the van, another U-Haul employee pulled up in front of the van with a huge truck and blocked us in. The employee would not acknowledge us while we were trying to get their attention so we could leave. We left very frustrated on a day that's stressful enough from moving.

I have rented several times from this location. Even though this is a busy location, I have noticed continued improvement in wait times when renting and returning equipment. Your staff is excellent in streamlining the process, always able to instantly pull up my account and have me on my way with minimal wait time even when there is a line up. Thanks again, Terry.

I am disappointing that the pricing policy is somewhat punitive towards those who want to use U-Haul service more frequently. Pricing policies like, "we serve the community and so when you want a multi day rental, your pricing needs to be higher". This is complacently unacceptable. It's disrespectful to people like me who would be a greater source for off peak rental revenue. That said, I am happy to say that I am now exploring other options. Last 5 weeks revenue is around $1,200.

The staff member I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. It was a long wait to bring the truck around to us but they were busy and I can understand that.

There is a lot of up-selling which is annoying. Also had to provide the same information multiple times on phone, on-line, and in person.

It was a real mixed bag. The staff at the location were quite helpful, but there were significant issues with the rental. The truck would randomly not start for a dozen or so attempts. It happened approximately 50% of the time I tried to start it over the 24 hours. At least 10 times when I tried to turn the truck back on, it would do nothing. After fiddling with the keys, brake pressure, and such, it would finally start again after a dozen attempts. Then, upon returning the vehicle, the "mobile rental" software automatically increased my daily rental to $89/day rather than $19.95/day. Despite me having a contract stating the lower price. It would have cost me an additional $40 (km charge was included in the higher price) if I hadn't gone into the office and spend 15 minutes getting it straightened out. There has been a screw up all three times I've used Uhaul in the past 5 years. It doesn't matter if I use a Uhaul location or a retailer. I guess this is average for Uhaul, but I would rank it poor compared to any other rental company I've ever used for a passenger vehicle. And I rent a car at least once a month on average.

The hostess was rude while the drop off and she tried to charge us with a flat tire but i called the guy who did the inspection inside to vouche for me and she was constantly giving us the attitude. Overall equipment was great but the representatives were horrible.
