Only the customer service linked to the branch not good. But this branch excellent.. They are very considerate, good customer service. Even my plan to empty both my storage. Keep up the good job. Storage manager very friendly & accomodating .i forgot her name????

My card was charged without my signature or approval after being told by the manager at the location uhaul do not save my card or charge without my approval. $181.20 was charged and I am contacting my bank for fraud charges as I never signed off on this charge.

Check in employee suggested that that I had damaged the roof of the van that I had rented. Although he had taken photo when picked up and no damage was evident in photos. Asst manager reviewed photos from previous rental period and dismissed any further action. Receipt was to be emailed to me but has failed to show up to date. Very unhappy with my experience,

It would be great if you could have the vehicle At the agreed time and location. We were notified by voicemail 45 minutes prior to pick up that the truck was not available and had to go to a different location across town. Even had to search out the location as there was never a confirmation of the location change. So overall not a good experience.

There was no parking anywhere, I had to walk from my car 10 minutes to pick up a truck and I had no place to leave my car. I filled the truck up with gas and the battery died. I waited on hold forever and by the time roadside assistance answered I had already found a boost. When I complained about the breakdown I was offered no discount or compensation for the 30 minutes of waiting for a boost that I endured

Staff were very slow... waited 45 mins for desk help. 6 staff in the lot. Desk.. staff not meeting needs. Customers very unhappy with wait and service. Lots of clean trucks but given a dirty one.

The dropoff location is a long distance from downtown Vancouver where my destination was. The dealer locations downtown don't seem to want dropoffs. Without a car it made the bus/train commute back downtown quite long.

I originally booked a small trailer (yard waste) online, not realising i needed a wiring harness thingy for tail lights. Before i picked up the trailer, i called the 1-800 number and was told i could have it installed at the UHaul in about 30 minutes... But not so, at least not at the selected location. But the location got me into a pickup truck for the same price, which did the job, and probably safer to boot!



To wash the trailer from outside to give better impression of the trailer when it is on the roud.

The staff staff seem unengaged and rude. We had a long wait to pick up the truck. The pickup location was not our preferred location. By far, our biggest complaint is that they claimed we damaged the truck door when we just did a simple trip with the truck. We will not rent U-haul again. We will use a different rental company or car share, where we have not experienced as terrible service.

Cargo Van was dirty, which covered up some previous minor scrape near one of the wheel-wells. Attended rubbed the area clean and said that the damage was not noted on the walk-around when van was picked up. Mentioned this to the counter staff and they deducted an amount from the total bill, which was appreciated...BUT..had the attendant, Guillermo, not been as understanding as he was, this might have turned into a not-so-pleasant experience. He is to be commended, I also told him I was a retired RCMP and would not "try to pull a fast one" on the company. To improve your service for the next customer, I would say..."Make sure your vehicles are clean."!

I also rented "blankets". Half of them were so dirty / greasy I would not put them on my furniture. Recommend when someone returns blankets in such condition don't re-rent them; not good for your brand.

I was not happy at all with my experience at this Uhaul. Getting the truck was ok, until she asked if I wanted to add the $15 security. I asked her what it would cover and she said "all damages." So I said, "oh so if I'm in an accident then you guys cover the deductible and everything?" She said "Yes." I do not know if she was poorly trained or just lied to me, but I was informed by another gentleman, after signing up and paying, that they would cover up to $150 in damage. I never would have paid an extra $15 if I had known that! When I tried to return my truck, I sat there for 30 minutes as employees walked around me. I even called inside the store and they said they would send someone out, but never did. A man behind me in line actually got serviced before me! Really bad experience overall. Would not come back to this location and if I never needed another Uhaul again, I wouldn't rent one. Too bad that that was my first and only experience renting a Uhaul.

I think uhaul needs to take more responsibility to ensure the vehicle is legal to travel the booked one way haul in BC in the winter - I.e. Winter tires or chains. Leaving it to the customer to deal with after picking the vehicle up is ridiculous.
