One thing I REALLY DID NOT LIKE is that they tried to make me pay for damage that was already there. When we looked at the van, they said the roof had some damage (scratch) but they never marked it and then told me that insurance doesn't cover the roof. We came back, and they looked at the roof immediately, and said they saw damage. They forgot that they already told me about it. They tried to make it seem like I did it. If this ever happens again, i will report it all over the media and will never use this place again. Other than this, the location is great because they have everything you need.

Lady called from uhaul asking why the equipment wasnt returned on time. I've rented from you guys couple times before and I have returned on time. Unfortunately this time around I was ill and was taken to the emergency with a stomach virus. I explained that to the lady in the front she said she couldn't do anything and charged me for an extra day. I don't mind paying but I thought uhaul policy would be a little bit more understanding. I also asked the lady if a note from the emergency ward would help she said don't worry it's fine. But the story changed when I brought the truck in.

The only concern that i wanted to address here is to let your employee discuss to your client whats under the contract paper that they're signing specifically about the service charge that your applying if they bring back the van for e.i. Then if its not been filled in the gas that is supposed to be in. I know every company have had their hidden fees but dont you think that being honest to ur customer will earn you more money than being wise and greedy to them.

Right turn signal was flickering faster, indicating one of the bulbs was burnt. I did not ask about it, but I was not told what was not covered in the insurance I bought. When I was leaving the gentleman that handed me the keys, told me that roof and the tires are not covered.

Train your front of house staff! The person who I dealt with didn't know the difference between a dual axle vs a single axle trailer and didn't understand ball hitch sizing (a woman told me over the phone their trailers will fit my size hitch which was a 2 5/16", i said really? Of course it didn't fit so I had to go back home and get my hitch key to swap hitches.). ....The really frustrating part was the fact that I had to ask almost every question 2 or 3 times before she understood what I was asking. If you want effective customer service staff, it helps if they can speak English effectively....The whole process took me almost 2.5 hours to rent a trailer. Unbelievable. I would absolutely NOT recommend this location to anyone.

GOOD Signage within the buildings is badly needed and moving from one building to another is very difficult and confusing. The car box was very wet I think that the truck had been left in a position in which the rain drained inside the truck. Fortunately we had moving blankets to protect the boxes but otherwise it would hav been a mayor problem for a normal client. 1) we booked our truck a while in advance to pick up in North Vancouver and were called the day before to say we had to pick up on SE Marine Drive adding extra stress to moving day. 2) When we got there they tried to tell us that we couldn’t drop the truck at our selected location, which is the only reason we went with U-haul and not Penske in the 1st place.....until we kicked up a fuss and then ‘it was fine’. 3) When we got the truck the back was so filthy that we had to spend time vacuuming and mopping the back of the truck because it would have ruined our furniture otherwise. 4) This is our 2nd move in 4 years and we used u-haul for both and BOTH times they managed to screw up our reservation somehow....never again!



Van was very clean and well maintained, service was fast and efficient.
