When I pulled up to pick up the trailer, it was really dirty with quite a bit of rock and dirt on the deck. There was also some mostly dried paint or sealant of some sort that had spilled on the deck. The guy who hooked up the trailer let me use the broom to try and clean the trailer out since I was going to use it to move furniture. I would expect that equipment is at least reasonably clean before it's rented to customers.

Make masks mandatory for all stores? This Texas location had lots of people not wearing masks inside because they didn't have a sign on the door telling you to wear a mask. Even the poor woman working for uhaul was uncomfortable with how many people wouldn't wear masks.

Your employees are overcharging customers and have a horrible attitude. They should know how to do basic math and tell the customer how much it is before the charge. They withdraw 3 fees from my bank. They charge me twice the miles. There is a black employee that was really disrespectful and rude. He didn't listen to the supervisor and kept yelling at us.

Directed to pull to Canopy to get serviced. Waited 20 mins, only car in line, before going inside to request someone help me. During that 20 mins, the employee servicing issuance the trailers and trucks, passed me several times without ever stopping to inquire if I needed assistance. Continued to just walk back to the garage to service no one. Blown away about his disengagement and Lack of effort in his jobs and responsibilities. He connected the trailer and light cable, did not see lights. Removed trailer and walked away and pretty much left me troubleshoot the issue. Took 20 seconds to clean connections to get the lights on, by the time I looked up, he was back at the garage.

~ The truck has a very annoying, high-pitched whistle which occurs at about 70 miles an hour; not very fun on a 24-hour road trip! Seems to come from the driver's-side windshield, in the corner. ~ The air conditioning would also simply cut off, for no reason, causing us to scramble about playing with dials, etc. until it began working again. ~ The young man I initially spoke with about accessing our free 1-month self storage unit was more interested in telling me what was wrong-- i.e. he wasn't finding a reservation made from the Holland, Michigan store-- than in how to help me remedy the situation. I literally had to ask him, "So is there anything you can do to help me fix this instead of telling me what is wrong?" He immediately responded, "Oh! I can make a reservation for you." Why wasn't that his first suggestion?! ~ When I arrived to get my storage unit the help seemed unsure of what they were doing. When we were finally assigned a unit and took our first load up, we opened the unlocked unit to fin d it full of someone else's stuff! When I returned to the office, no explanation was offered for the mix-up and no apology for the inconvenience. Maybe a little better training in customer service is needed?

When I initially called this location to inquire about my 1-month-free 10' x 10' storage unit I believed had been reserved by the Holland, Michigan U-Haul, I was told there was no reservation! When I tried to ask questions about why this might be or what I needed to do to remedy the situation, all I got back from the young man I was speaking to was that they had no reservation, Holland U-Haul had not made a reservation, and they would not be communicating with the Holland U-Haul, making me feel I was just out of luck! Finally, out of desperation I asked, "Well can you offer me ANY solution to my problem instead of continually stating what the problem is? What do I need to do to make this right?!" He responded, "Oh! I can make that reservation for you." Why didn't we begin there in the first place? Then, when I arrived to unload a few items into my storage unit before turning in my 15-foot truck, the first unit we where assigned had no lock on it and was full of someone else's stuff! The young lady helping us was rather unconcerned about the inconvenience, offering no explanation for the mix-up, and eventually finding us a vacant unit we could have. Not the greatest way to end an already exhausting trip! Overall, I'm impressed with U-Haul's upgrade in customer service. The 1-month-free self-storage unit available for all one-way truck reservations is a fabulous benefit! Likewise, allowing an additional 3 days for one-way moves was very helpful in lowering the over-all stress in solved in such a move. Thank you U-Haul!

When picking up the trailer that I rented, the staff that took care of the paperwork inside did a good job. When backing my truck up to the trailer, I was looking in my backup camera and didn't see the the person who was going to hook up the trailer tell me to stop because his hands were above the camera. When I stopped and got out of the truck, he began to yell at me and looked like he wanted to get physical about the issue. He yelled at me for about 2 minutes. I asked him if he wanted to go into the office to see the manager and evidently he didn't. I will never use this location again - ever.

I was only given instructions to "go to this website" for after hours drop off, that was all that was said. When I brought the truck back and tried to use the website to check it back in, it kept telling me that my location could not be verified and would not let me proceed. I checked that my location services were in and working in other apps. I checked my browser settings to ensure the sit was not being blocked, to no avail. Called customer service and waited on hold to be told a different department handled this issue. When the rep tried to transfer me I got the opaque message "your callback has been cancelled" and bounced me back to the customer service queue I had already been stuck waiting on. Now 45 minutes into this mess, someone finally picked up and talked me through the steps I had already tried to take to address the issue, unsuccessfully of course. Eventually she had me email her pictures of the truck. What should have taken 30 seconds took over an hour all told sitting outside in the sun. Not what anyone is looking for after a long exhausting day of moving. Will be going out of my way not to use Uhaul again but if it's unavoidable will be sure to return while an actual human is there.

The pick up location personnel was great but I did not get what I ordered. I asked for a covered trailer and instead got an open trailer. I was still charged 350.00. I was told the customer is at the mercy of the merchandise being returned. To me why reserve the item if your not going to get it since we are at the mercy of merchandise being returned. I will think twice about reserving again from uhual.

This was the worst experience I've ever had renting a truck. My customer service rep couldn't tell me where I was actually supposed to pick up the truck. No one called with information about that either. I couldn't get in touch with anyone from the store I was trying to pick up from. When I finally got someone on the phone they said my reservation was at 12pm. Now I'm forced to get a smaller truck. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW YALLS RENTAL PROCESS GOT SO TERRIBLE.

I waited on hold over 15 minutes both times I called. I was NEVER called back in the hour after I requested a truck. They said someone would call me to let me know where to pick up from and they did not. 3 hours later I finally got my answer.

Staff had attitudes with everyone before me making it uncomfortable. They seemed like we were bothering them. The truck its self had trash etc inside. Windows were hard to see out of due to them being filthy on the inside. I wouldn't go back her. Out of the 5 Uhauls I have rented from, in multiple states, this was the worst experience.

Put gas in the trucks. Picking up a truck that is completely empty is unacceptable. Also, he was rude and handled the transaction incorrectly.

They over charged me for mileage,I only went like 45 miles and they charged me for 88 miles.I may been one day late turning it in but it was suppose to be $39.95 a day and I filled it up like I way suppose to and they over charged me for that as well.They charging me $437. on a 2 day rental.I will not be referring anyone to y'all's company ever

Although not particularly busy the guy at the counter showed no interest in helping us. Our reservation had been lost and he said they had no trucks we could rent and nothing he could do to help. From the parking lot I Called 1-800-uhaul who said there were plenty of trucks at that sight and reserved one Available immediately. Walked back inside where the same guy acted like this was normal operating procedures. His customer service was terrible.

I drove up at 6:55 no one came out the next thing I saw was some one locking the door and pull the garage doors down. The entire staff got in there cars and drove off. So I went online to figure out how to return the truck rental. If had use Uhual again I would use this location. The experience in Nacogdoches was great but the experience in Austin was very disappointing-

Again, Covid mask polices were not being followed. When we arrived to have our trailer taken off the man helping us was rude. He was not wearing a mask and entered our truck we spent time sanitizing to move to a location to unhitch the trailer. We felt unsafe, I welcomed, and rushed.

Equipment was broken. The taillight was not operable. The critically important ratchet straps were not working, so I could not use them. I will never rent here again & I am planning to share on social media, google & yelp.

Truck had almost 80000 miles and was worn out. I went to this location in person to reserve a truck. They told me it would be .79 a mile. When I picked up the truck they said it was $1.09 a mile. To late to look elsewhere.

Maybe not upload a pic for the next customer of where the truck would be parked. Mine wasn't where the picture showed and so I was confused. Use that pic as maybe just verification it's in the lot. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, everything else is great.

I placed an order for a truck and auto transport. I arrived to pay, but the total was $160+ instead of 215+. I didn't know why it was cheaper. However, during the payment process the agent mentioned the blankets and appliance dolly would be in the track, so that prompted me to realize she didn't mention the auto transport. I pointed it out. She asked for another rep to assist her. He stated that my order had been split, since they did not have one available for my vehicle at this location. The service was good, but it would have been nice to receive a courtesy call regarding the split order and the information for the second location (for the customer's agreement/awareness) prior to pick up day. Staff was friendly. Thanks.

I was told when picking up the vehicle I would not be charged a fee if I did not check the vehicle in because the site was giving people problems. I tried to check in my truck at least 6 different times with no success, and was still charged extra fees. I even emailed the location the morning after to let them know, and never heard back... just got charged the amount. Bad business

We were told to call this place before dropping off to this location. I tried three times but after being on hold for so long, 12 min each time, I guess the system automatically hangs up. No matter how busy you are 36 min on hold is unacceptable especially when the customer has a question that needs to be answered.

When I moved in the alarm system was malfunctioning and there didn't seem to be any urgency in fixing it. Also, the after hours entry system didn't work. Most of the staff was friendly, but some could have been more friendly. When I moved out, everything seemed to work fine.

I rested a u-box. When is cam to pick it up out of storage. I was not aware that they needed 24 hour notice to get it out of storage. When checking out U-haul should inform people to avoid delays.
