Double check when giving the units the last minute inspection that , especially the hood is closed, some folks wouldn't think to check. The service at the Austin and Van Alstyne location were both very good and professional, thank you

I wanted a cargo van but U Haul changed it to a 10 ft box truck without asking me. It took several calls to find out why. I got it switched back to a cargo van and then checked my confirmation email and it was again changed to a box truck. I finally got what I wanted but I should not have to follow up so many times.

Nothing....everything was perfect!

First my order was completely wrong, the amount I was quoted was almost $40 less than what I paid, and they had a round trip delivery as a one way. It was very frustrating.

They found my garage door opener. The whole crew including Orlando, were exceptional and professional!!!

Your business model overall lends itself to exorbitant charges. I rented a cargo van and was charged a flat rental rate in addition to mileage and fuel. If you wanted to be fair to the consumer, you could perhaps cease the mileage. It is double-counting, as that charge should be captured in the rental rate (much like it is when you rent a car from, say, Hertz). I will not be renting from U-Haul any longer and will advise others of the same. Thank you.

Since there would be no staff at the store when I returned the trailer after hours at 9:30 PM on the same day, I was told to return the trailer to the same place with all of the other trailers. I did not think much of it at the time. The big, strong U-Haul staffer that very quickly lifted the 6 X 12 trailer tongue onto my tow hitch seemed to do it without much trouble. However, upon returning the trailer, when I tried to unhitch in the same spot as the pickup point, I had great difficulty. Luckily, my wife found another customer to help me lift the trailer off of my hitch. Only then did I realize that this area of the parking lot, where the trailers are herded, has a slight pitch. I think that may have contributed to my difficulty in removing the trailer. It would be very helpful to have a night person at the facility to assist in receiving returning equipment after hours. Everything else regarding the rental was smooth sailing. Thank you. -- Kirk Woolsey

I was charged $188.27 too much & then found out from my bank that this location attempted to charge me an additional $188.27 & $56.+ but was rejected due to insufficient funds. You had already charged me for the rental & miles & for some reason someone at your location made the additional charge plus attempted additional charges & your customer service person lady named AJ told me me & my bank we’re wrong that there was no charge showing on the system. Yes we filed a charge grievance to recoup the over charge & personally for the disrespect I should be refunded “ALL” the money!!!

No complaints. The equipment and staff were absolutely fantastic. Quick and painless from pick up to drop off. I will definitely use this location for my next van rental.

Need a night person!

Elliot, I believe was the Uhaul associate that helped me, was extremely friendly and nice.

Michael was very helpful with a price match in a very stressful time, moving is never fun, but I was going through even crazier circumstances than usual. Michael was able to find me the right truck with the right towing option at the right price to get me home. He even helped me hitch my car. He made sure I had all the additional tools I would need to make the move go smooth and I couldn't be happier. I ever find myself in Austin again needing a truck I will definitely be giving him my business!

My check in process was a nightmare. I chose to check in online with my phone so I didn’t have to go inside. I rented the truck & had my boyfriend listed as primary driver. During online check in it asks for a photo of the driver & a photo of their drivers license we did this for my boyfriend & it said the information did not match. So we tried again with my info & we got the same response, information mismatch. Now we are forced to go inside and check in. There were about 3 people in front of us and it took at least 30 minutes until our then because the computers were down. It took over an hour by the time we finally got our truck. When it came time to bring it back we were told to go put gas in it & come back, we did this & the gentleman checking us out told us it was trying to charge us extra but he didn’t know why & we needed to go inside. The man inside told us we were actually getting charged less than quoted & my account would be credited. We wasted so much extra time of our day at uhaul trying to pick up & drop off this truck. We used it for moving just 20 miles from our current place and it was about $75. I will likely not be using uhaul again. It was right down the street so it seemed like a good choice.
