I reserved a large trailer on line that was not available at the location when I showed up to get it. Had to settle for smaller trailer or travel to another location.

The truck should not have been on the road at all. The headlights were so dim that it was hard at night to see in front of us. The alignment was off so bad that the steering wheel didn't properly show how straight the wheels were. The gear selector was off by a gear, when putting into park it actually showed in reverse, when in drive it showed in third gear. It's amazing how this vehicle had passed inspection. Then the better part of the rental was the dolly and pads that took up 4 square feet of space in the truck, when called and asked if I could remove it to utilize all square footage of the truck I was given a poor answer of if I break the seals then I would have to pay for it. That's not customer service, that's taking advantage of people and lying about it. Next and last thing, the closest entrance was blocked so I had to take a 5 mile detour to get to the other entrance of the place which added to the whole cost. Im certain too having an entrance blocked could be a fire marshall inquiry or problem.

In the future inform the customers that you charge 25.00 if you have to sweep out the truck. If charging their card.

The website link to pick up without standing in line doesn't work. I had to stand in line when i didnt expect to. It should be fixed before being offered as an option. Other than that the staff was amazing and it was easy to pick up my uhaul.

This isn't related to slaughter lane location. For the customer service persons I spoke with on the phone. I was double reserved for pick-ups, 1 was the wrong equipment. Second your traffic dispatcher need to be able to communicate better, "call this location, no this location, now this location" wasted a lot of time. Not knowing real-time what was available and where.

the trailor i used was from new hampshire i believe, and it was so old the employee couldn't even look it up by the number on the trailer. it left a lot of dirty marks on all my stuff including furniture. the inside had cracked plastic corners and the outside was so rusted i was afraid that shit was gonna fall apart. the tires were on the verge of pulling me off the road since they were as bald as a new born baby's butt. get that shit fixed, folks. i could've died.

We called to let them know we would need the truck for an extra day and they were extremely rude. Speaking over me, reprimanding me, and told me they would need to find another truck for another client..... isn't that their job???

My son backed the trailer in and before we got out of our truck, the agent had already checked is in electronically and we were ready to go! This was the easiest process ever!

Didn't like the padlock already on the truck. My friend locked it, and it was a panic moment, until we realised the key was on the keychain, but nobody told me that, and I have always used my own padlock. Not a major thing, but it's the 1st time of years of using UHaul that the padlock was already there.

The location should have verified tire pressure in the auto transport. I had a tire failure about an hour into my trip from Austin to SoCal. It took roadside assistance 1 1/2 hour to reach us and after changing the tire, the service technician checked all the tires and found them 10-15psi low. The site also forgot to connect the trailer lights to the truck.
