I've never had so much trouble in my experience with Uhaul. This was a last minute reservation that went very bad. I must admit that everyone tried really hard to make it right but the person that did the worst was Kiara Mason. She made this whole thing far more difficult and frustrating. When I dropped off the trailer at my destination, I was told that my trailer did not have the safety latch on the tongue of the trailer and it could have been very dangerous I.E. coming off the ball/hitch on the highway.MICHAEL P.

Hello, Please refrain from using that TOXIC chemilcal cleaner called Fabuloso. It frustrates me to jump in a rental truck and have to roll windows down when its 32 degrees because of the smell. RICO is great to work with!!!TIMOTHY W.

I had reserved a trailer at a different location and when I arrived they didn't have one for me. Very frustrating. You can improve your service by confirming that the equipment rented is available so they don't waste a trip and get upset.THOMAS D.
The radio was inoperable. For a 700 mile 2-day interstate trip, that's worse than no A/C. Staff at desk looked at me like I had a horn growing out of my head. Asked Manager to please call when he gets in (10:30-ish) to see if they can have a mechanic check connections if I bring the truck by. Never heard from them. -ScottScott N.
This was not the location's fault, but we had nothing but issues with the trailer lights not working despite 2 different roadside tech calls in 2 different states. Just frustrating that we paid so much for the rental and the equipment was faulty.JOE C.
I rented a truck at a different location from 7:30am - noon- the location was closed and I could not get the keys until 12pm. Why would you rent me a truck for hours I can not access the truck? The whole situation was frustrating and very bad business and planning on your end. Thank goodness the guy at this location was nice and helpful or I would have lost my shift. Your business sucks. Everything was great. The staff was great. Anthony explained everything very thoroughly. I also wanted to let you know the truck I rented made me really nervous though. It needs front end work. Coming down steep mountains applying the brakes, the front end shimmies really bad. Other than that, I was impressedROCKY R.
This location was fine. It's what led up to it that was not acceptable. U-haul moved my reservation and did not let me know. To make it worse, neither of the locations had any trucks. This delayed my move for almost an hour and then had me travel much farther to find an available truck. With the miles I had to go to get the truck it doubled my cost along with my time. I hope there is enough room on this to really get everything said I have put this off probably a little long but my experience with U-Haul was nothing but bad. The very first U-Haul I rented was on Alameda I rented it for 20 for four hours and try to get an extension of the person I spoke with was so rude to me it was ridiculous I never got to use the van or the truck it was I try to get a van or a smaller truck but was left with this enormous oversize truck as a choice things happen I did not get to use it as planned but try to get an extension like I said the man was so rude to me I had to unpack the U-Haul so quickly and get it down there like because I was terrified he was so angry with me. So the second opportunity I had to rent a U-Haul was right after that I went to the store on the federal they had no U-Haul that I could access the one I was supposed to get was boxed in I was on customer service call for close to an hour as the person try to walk me through finding the key that would fit any of the other U-Haul nothing ever happened so that was a waste of hours of time as wellCAROLINE D.

This was a terrible experience. The person who was supposed to open the store at 7 am was THREE HOURS LATE. We called multiple stores and customer service and ended up waiting an hour an half from our pick up time because there was nothing that anyone could do. I understand that this was an accident on the employees part but it put us behind 2 hours. We planned our pick up time with our movers and family members so that we could pack and get out of town on a schedule. Nothing was done to diffuse the situation, when we called other locations they asked was store and responded with "that sounds about right" to the employee being 3 hours late. I am disappointed with the overall experience. This should have been a super easy pick up but it ended up messing up all of our plans, cost us time and money!AVINELL V.

My move in was over 6 years ago. There was a leak near my locker but it was fixed right away. Since that time I've been provided very good service by everyone I have needed to speak with. Customer service, the girl at counter told me the truck I rented was in aisle 2, as if I worked there and knew were aisle 2 was at. As she told me this she pointed at a security screen that had like 30 trucks showing....so after walking around for few minutes, I had to go find someone to help me find the truck I rented. Doesn't seem very professional. Every other time I have rented a truck from uhaul, there is a tech who brings truck around and someone to walk around the truck with the customers to verify any damage done to truck.RHIANNON B.

A mess since the beginning of our experience. Lost the first truck and called three days before our move to say so. Had all the drop off locations wrong. Dis not inform us in person or on any paperwork that the lump sum insurance would also continue Pro rated daily arguments when we had to have the truck set while waiting for the apartment costing us an additional $500. This was the worst experience and due to my job I move frequently. First time using Uhaul and probably the last unless they credit the unspoken undocumented insurance adjustments and give compensation for all the mental angst they caused with their paperwork mess ups.Taylor M.
