The employee that helped me was not pleasant he had a very bad attitude. Normally the staff is very pleasant and friendly every time I go to this location. I've never seen that employee before. As a fellow business owner I would have never hired him. The owner was somewhat helpful but also had an air about him. Not very hospitable as the owner of a business. The owner was slightly more personable on my second encounter the following day. I like the regular crew that works.Stacey W.
I paid for a dolly I didn't get the truck was driving funny and unsafe on the freeway and I still haven't got refunded my money the people on the inside was so rude telling me reading is fundamental and it is but i also wear glasses so make it bigger or verbally say itShameka S.
Do a walk around check list with customer. The guy outside checking the car in from me returning it tried to say it was a scratch on the side as of i side swipes something and never was i close to anything. I backed up to my porch to move hair products and took them out the same way. Nothing was ever on either side and I drove less than 10 miles totallacresia B.
Please have the gas tank on full for the next customer. I rented a truck on 11/17/2022. By the time I left the Uhaul parking lot and made it to the first traffic light, the gas light came on stating 50 miles to E. I barely made it to my very first stop. The guy was very rude, I came in to pick up a truck that customer service reserved for me and tried to show him my reservation but he told me he don't need that because it's not telling him anything then went to say they don't have anything available. Customer service has to call the store and they actually had the truck and my reservation. So I go back in and the guy is still being rude telling me they don't have anything and I told him customer service just called then he said well why didn't I give him my name, they don't look up reservations then he denied me service and I had to wait on another employee to help me that was also rude.Allison C.

Someone entered my space and removed one of my tents that I use for my events. That cover was placed over one of my display stands; no tent ‼️I had not been in my storage bin since Covid 19. I also noticed that my other larger tent, the cover had been removed and was laying over my chair. I would have never left the cover off my tents. Especially the larger one, because the cover has rolls on it and that’s the way I brought it in and took them out. I went to the office twice and I have called the manager. Nothing everything was all good except let them know they keep having to push that check sign on the left panel when the message about the tires come across, and how you got to keep pressing that other button on the right if you're not driving in the right gear I guess I don't know it's a little orange button on the bottom, it's just all these light upNANCY K.
First I took a Lyft there I was supposed to mobile rent but chose to go to the counter the young lady that helped me would not allow me to at least get the vehicle then bring back my ID when asked can I speak with a manager I was told their IS NOT ONE AVAILABLE, IT COST ME $32 to go back to my house then come back to rent the truck, ( My house is Southfield & Warren) next I asked for a utility dolly which I was NEVER TOLD it was not available when checking my equipment I noticed NO DOLLY I go back & ask the young lady she became very agitated I'd me asking her about the dolly she explained that she asked a coworker but NEVER EXPLAINED TO ME, I then asked why my payment was the same as if I rented the dolly she became even more agitated body demeanor and all NO I WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR RETURNShatonya B.

This is a general comment for U-Haul. I went online to order my vehicle a few days prior to the actual service date and was promised a vehicle. However, one and a half hours before my pick up time I was notified that the location that I originally reserved my truck at Had no vehicles. They expressed to me that they have found a different location. However, they did not honor my same reservation, type i.e. mileage and dropping off at a separate location. I knew that because of the distance that I was moving that I would go over my miles. They also told me that they had called the different location, however when I got there, I was told that no one had called them. Also, I had to wait on a vehicle. The vehicle that was promised was not available at the time that I was told it would be available. This location did their best to accommodate me. I would recommend that the online reservation system would check with the actual location before allowing customers to reserve. This could have caused me great strife. I was charged sixty six dollars more than i originally planned for due to this errorSamarra M.

I would'nt blame this location specifically but i was rescheduled to 4 different locations prior to picking up the uhaul. I got confirmed a truck and then was called 3 other times to switch locations. I ended up not getting the size truck i asked for too. It was a headache of an experience.Ricardo B.

Incorrect mileage placed on invoice. Noticed after 5 minutes. Did not report right away and was charged way over for mileage. Wouldn't even consider previous rental over several months. I honestly believe they may be borrowing themselves or loaning to friends and padding mileage over to older customers. Will never, ever rent from them Sidon. Happy my van is repaired. I was having issues with the swipe card entry, and later found out that the swipe cards don't work which is something that should have been taken care of up front. Instead I had to keep going to the manager to gain access to storage unit, which was overwhelming to say the least. I Can you imagine moving in a surgical boot on your foot. I call Friday 8/5/2022 to order a pickup for Saturday morning at your location on Livernois in Detroit. I go to pick the truck up and they say you ordered a truck for Saturday at 6:45 p.m till Sunday 6:45. I very upset, I ride my bicycle 4.5 Miles to get there. So I do ask the Customer Service Rep do you had anything available everything what booked. I'm MAD The Rep let me see if someone else hand's something available. 19001 Joy Rd they have a pick up truck for you tomorrow morning at 8:15 ok booked it. I ride My bicycle 6 Miles to get there they don't have 1 ether, so I ask what can you do for me I need something A.S.A.P he puts me in a U-HAUL Box. MAD. The truck was not clean, the outside had actual gashes in the side of it from someone hitting something and dragging it. The man I spoke to was very helpful however they call the morning of my move and said my truck wasn't available and offered zero solutions or replacement vehicles. Pretty horrible experience all around.. from having my location changed to one of the worst locations in the entire state of Michigan, to the lack of knowledge from team members which delayed my pick up even further... having to wait 45+ minutes to get a tow dolly hooked up because the employee thought I requested an appliance dolly and. had to wait 50+ minutes for the supervisor to arrive to resolve my account issue. Loyal tenant for nearly ten years. U-haul goes up on the rent every 10 months, atleast $10. There was never any updates in the facility. A lot of my thing were destroyed in a flood from the roof of the facility. I decided to leave after the last rental increase. My things had rodent waste on them. I put them directly in the trash. :( I would not recommend storage from U-haul for long term, not more than 2 months.judie b. | Overall Experience

One time I went to to my unit someone broke their key in my lock but the office replaced it for me.
