The overall condition of the truck was fine except there was no air conditioning blowing out of the vents, and this was the hottest week of the yearStephen B.
I went to empty out a storage unit that I had had for several years and when I went to empty out the unit there was a hole in the unit because the unit was outdoors was outdoor storage unit and several of my things had become molded and eaten up by the rats I lost quite a bit of merchandise I think their trucks need to be better maintained the ones that are outdoors.Pamala K.

I was sent on a wild goose chase to a bad part of Kansas City. there was no one managing the site, I had to call UHaul corporate twice finally got a trailer at State Street where i started an hour earlier. Assistant manager was rude to me. I almost missed my deadline to pick up my vehicle after driving there from Little Rock. I was dissapointed.Robert K.
No one helped us at the site. We had to go inside to ask for assistance and even then, no one came outside to assist with the return. There were 3-4 personnel inside that were behind the counter and no one was outside assisting returns. Very poor customer service.Dana R.

After calling and finding out they would be open when I dropped the truck of at 2 pm no one was available to give me a receipt and it has taken several days and I still do not have confirmation the truck has been received. I call to see if it has beef received and the answer I keep getting is not yet. I am now getting random $970.74 daily charges from uhaul. I am not able to get ahold of costumer service to get the issue resolved. I also did uhaul a favor by taking an empty trailer to Florida and they offer me $147 to tow it down and drop it. I have never received the money. They keep telling me they need a manager to talk to me but not manager is ever on the job when I call between the hours of 8am-6pm eastern time. Worst company to ever deal with. They are crooks.Joe D.

I was given the Truck on less than a 1/4 tank. The attendant there told me they'd enter the info into the system and did not. When I went to return the truck, they attempted to charge me for a full tank of gas. Ridiculous!Christopher T.

Reservation was changed by Uhaul without notifying me. Waited in line for 30 minutes before I was helped only to be told that the reservation was changed. Drove 15 miles one way to the changed location. Waited for an additional 30 minutes to get helped. Truck smelled like cigarette smoke. Was charged for 30 miles even though the original pickup location was 2 miles from where I was using the truck. Overall bad experience. You need a number direct to renting vehicles, not I storage, it was very difficult to make contact I wasn't impressed. You need a separate easy access number for renting. Online isn't easy either and trying to access online for return wasn't functioning.Dale W.

When I picked up the trailer at RPM Auto Service 1916 Armour Rd North Kansas City, MO 64116 the trailer wasn't available, no email or text notifying me that the trailer is not available NO COMMUNICATION what so ever. Who fault that is??? That was not a good feeling!!! The owner of that placed did not review the forecasted reservations ensuring they have the right equipment. Of course the owner of the RPM auto service assisted (no choice) just like any businesses, contact UHAUL customer service they have to locate trailer for me drove additional 15 min to go to a different location. I think we messed up the convenience of the online check-in process by seeking guidance from the staff instead of attempting to just access the facility on our own. Rather than just walking us through the info we received online, it was as if they started the check-in process all over but did not tell us they changed our access info, etc and they charged us for another lock but we found one in the unit when we got to the unit. Small inconveniences of having to make multiple trips back to the office to figure out why we couldn't get in. In the end it all worked out fine, just not the most helpful (knowledgeable??) staff. Nice facility, less impressed with the staff. Just seemed to go through the motions rather than really listen to customer and assist appropriately. Even inquired about dropping our rental truck there instead of returning to STL area but was basically discouraged from doing so for reasons that felt more like because the staff didn't want to deal with it, than for legitimate reasons. Uhaul was willing to work with us and allowed us to use an old office that had been converted into a storage unit. The draw back was that our unit was located inside the store area and we could not access it after 7. When we moved out of unit it became very apparent that no big extermination had been done. We paid for a climate control area which I assumed would mean minimal bug inhabitation but I was wrong! Ants and beetles covered the floor under our things.
