The clerk didn't perform a "walk around " but I did and discovered that the roof of the truck cab was dented. Overall the truck was clean but the steering on this unit is "squirrelly" and the headlights need adjusting. The app for self check in didn't work and after an hour of trying to check in, I was extremely frustrated and just quit. I wound up calling your 800 number and tried to check in by phone. When I first rented the truck I told them 120 miles that I was going to use for the truck and my fiance just returned it and charged an extra 8$ for the mileage even though we didnt use all the 120 miles I told them that we were going to use, the service was great but charging an extra 8$ for the mileage we didnt even go over is ridiculousKARL W.

When I picked up the trailer and your team member hooked it up to my Sequoia, I noticed that the rubber chain keepers were not installed. The safety chains were hooked onto the hitch ears correctly, but not installing the keepers seems a bit dangerous. I mentioned it to the guy when he did the install, but he mentioned that is how they are supposed to go. I don't want to get the guy in trouble, but it seems like something like this shouldn't be overlooked. I have a significant amount of experience towing, so I did the chain keepers myself, but someone who may be less experienced, may not notice and leave them loose. Should something happen to the hitch, the chain would not be fully enclosed to prevent from coming off the hitch and doing its job. Otherwise, i was quite pleased with the interactions and the facilities. It seems that most uhaul places I have rented from are either run down, have rude/ghetto-esque people working there, or they just simply don't care. This was quite the change and well received from my perspective.Luis M.
Truck interior was dirty, had obviously not been cleaned or sanitized. U-haul dolly is in a terrible place and the bracket wasn't doing a good job keeping it where it was supposed to be. It will likely come out while someone is driving even though they don't use it. The back door was very difficult to open, it's missing wheels and sticksKyle B.

I picked my Uhaul up and it had 1/4 tank. I drove 200 miles that day with about 7 stops to make. One of the first ones was for gas. Thanks a lot. I was under a deadline and I had to get gas right off the start.MEGAN L.

Uhaul was willing to work with us and allowed us to use an old office that had been converted into a storage unit. The draw back was that our unit was located inside the store area and we could not access it after 7. When we moved out of unit it became very apparent that no big extermination had been done. We paid for a climate control area which I assumed would mean minimal bug inhabitation but I was wrong! Ants and beetles covered the floor under our things. Robert chambers was always so nice and friendly when I would come in there. Very helpful. Only downside is the stairs to the upper storage lockers. The entire staff there on State Ave. were courteous and helpful to all customers and they had a handle on any situation for the customers needs. Any information about what type of storage was available was answered and all equipment for rental was maintained adequately, plus any propane tank that needed to be refilled for the customers needs were equatable and promptly executed for the customers convince.
