Customer service I received today was outstanding. The lady who rented me the truck and who checked it back in was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to work with. It is nice to experience this as a consumer and assures I will use uhaul and specifically this location again.

No improvement needed. A very friendly, congenial staff who helped explain the process. The price was amazingly low for the pickup truck. The staff helped us save money on tie-downs by telling us we could get away with a lower price set. I had thought about using home depot, but their price of 19.95 was only for 75mins! The young guy that assisted us during check-in was very mannerable. He made our experience very pleasant! One complaint, before we rented a truck, I went on-line to check for availability, and was informed that there was none, for the day and time that I needed it. My husband went to the actual location, and we rented a truck. If I would have relied on the online information, my needs would not have been met. (Conclusion) The online information should be checked, and updated accordingly.

This location was very busy and there was only one guy working. It took over an hour to get the equipment and the guy working was running round trying to help everyone. He was very helpful and hardworking but we could hear other staff in the back and there was a lot of people waiting. I was at this location twice this weekend and both times the people working were great but no enough help and it took way too long!

When i picked my truck up this morning the agent was SO helpful. She was friendly, outgoing, professional. Absolutely the best Uhaul associate I have ever worked with. We left knowing how to tell how much gas to replace, where and how to drop of the truck. Everything we could possible need to know. Then when we brought the truck back the gentalman that check us in was also amazing. He was courteous, friendly, and very professional. These two associates made the uhaul part so an extremely stressful move so pleasant. I am grateful that I had the pleasure of working with both of these associates today. Thank you both for exemplifying excellent customer service, you both made my day much brighter. You both deserve kudos and most likely a raise! The original truck we were given had a check engine oil light on. We had to return to the location to get a different truck. Also when trying to verify the drop off location in another state the agent was not able to do that and transferred me to a person in the wrong state. It took for people and waiting on hold for a 1/2 an hour to finally get to a person who was able to assist me . We had also added a Car hauler and had to return to the location a second time to ensure this was on our contract. We indicated when we signed the contract that we would be hauling it with our private truck. The person who added at miss understood and thought we would be hauling it with the u-haul equipment. He then would not honor the initial cost he quoted us. We had also arranged for a drop off in the city that we lived in and then received an email telling us we have to go to the neighboring city to drop off our equipment without any type of explanation as to why we had to go out of our way. It turned out that the local lot was full but that was never indicated to us. It was quite inconvenient. This is the worst experience I have had with U-haul and I have rented from this company on many many occaisions. Very disappointed

The leaky roof on the truck was not verbally disclosed. Ruined 2 beds, 1600$ worth. I saw after we unloaded on the back of the green signature form that itbwas written there with the addition that uhaul is not responsible for any water damage. This is some underhanded stuff right here. As for a physical inspection upon pickup there is no way I could see this, 26 foot truck, 12 feet high. Seriously disappointed and will not use uhaul ever again...

This was not the location I chose and the initial email I received said someone would contact me regarding my rental. No one did so I made the assumption that the location I chose had the vehicle that I reserved. NOPE!! So, 45 minutes later and 20+ miles the opposite direction, I finally have the vehicle I thought I was picking up in Shawnee. Why bother showing this vehicle is an option if the location NEVER has them (per the lady at the front desk)???? The location I ended up at is also not in a great part of town and not one that I would feel comfortable driving to by myself which had been my original plan. Luckily my husband at the last minute was able to come along. Again, this was not appreciated. If I had known you would have been sending me there, I would have just cancelled the reservation. You cost me time along with extra miles I had to drive to complete the task I needed to do with the cargo van. I will definitely be letting everyone I know be sure they know about this business practice of yours. This is not how I would choose to run a business.

Had to have a truck, since the one I was supposed to get in Bonner Springs was not there, Bonner Springs needs more training or they are morons and had no clue. 5200 State ave was a long distance but I needed a truck

The people were nice, the truck ran well and was clean, but my overall SERVICE from Uhaul was unacceptable from a business perspective. My truck reservation was moved TWICE from my original requested location. The second time it was moved was on a Saturday evening at 6:15pm (original scheduled pickup/move date was the next day, Sunday at 7:30am) to a location that was 10 MILES in one direction out of my way, which in turn would end up adding 20+ miles ($.79/mile plus gas) to my cost. If I were properly informed of my location change I would have changed my reservation altogether. UHaul knew that I needed a truck, they knew I would be unable to make a reservation for another truck wh another company (being the day before my scheduled move), so they took it upon themselves to get all of their money and not give a proper discount for the time/money I would end up wasting due to mistakes they (as a company, not individual store) made to my reservation. Finally, when I went to pick up my truck for an early reservation at 7:30am, my online check-in was not assigned a truck, so I had to wait until 9am for ge store to open to receive my truck, where I had friends and family waiting at my house to help move for two hours before I got back with it. When I asked this particular store for extended hours with my truck since I had been screwed over so many times, they had to turn their backs to me and talk about it like it was something that needed to be discussed. I highly suggest you go with Penske or Budget rental trucks, even though you may pay a few bucks more, the customer service at UHaul and at this store in particular are not worth the hassle you will incur. The regional office associate I spoke to afterwards to make a formal complaint even told me it was more my fault that this happened because I made a reservation before most stores opened, otherwise I would be able to move my rental to another location. What a joke...

Make sure that people get their full contracted hours requested and don't book next rental as the same time truck is scheduled back should something happen. 45 minutes to check in due to not scheduling enough people, took 45 minutes from our rental. I called and spoke with a Rachel who was rude and offered no solution for us to keep the truck 30 more minutes to allow us time to finish and she stated it's your contract, and stated that the truck was rented out, felt rushed

When I say it wasn't clean and well maintained, i would still give it a high score if it were out of 10, but on a yes/no basis I am putting no because there was 1 piece of trash in the trailer and there were some rocks. It isn't a surprise for a trailer to have some dirt and rocks on the ground, but I still think it warrants the no answer. I wasn't happy that I had an email confirmation "guaranteeing" a 5x9 trailer and was only given a 5x8. Why would you use the word "guarantee" if you couldn't deliver. The worst part was having to drive so far to pick it up. I selected one location, but then had to go to another location. It was a surprise to us and affected our planning for the day. The change in the location and size from what I ordered really hurt our schedule, and we were lucky to get everything done. I'm not that upset about all this stuff, but it would have been nice to be told what I was getting when I first placed the order.

We had an awful experience in the beginning I felt so humiliated and belittled. We were offered a complimentary 50.00 discount because of the rude treatment from a Uhaul contracted location in Northore, Mo. The truck door would not close and the attendant was unpleasant.
