It was supposed to be self picked up, but they put wrong key for the truck. It was happened to me twice this location. They do not know what they do!!!!! My pick up time was 6 pm, however I picked up the truck 6.30 pm although i was the only costumer at the store. They gave me wrong key twice in 20 minutes. Terrible service,,, wastee timee!!!

Rented from A storage solution location in Sugarland for convenience. Never told me they did not have the unit until I arrived to pick it up. Had to travel to a different location to get the unit... Very inconvenient and time wasted,,, No apologies for wasting my time. Would not recommend the location at all!

I have always had a problem with this location with the rudeness of employees. The only reason. I picked up a trailer there today was because the one I reserved two weeks ago at a different location wasn't there so I had to pick it up here. I will give the women working today credit. I had no problems with them and they were polite. But your after hours return is ridiculous. I used to be able to drop it off and be done. Now it takes at least 10 minutes of having to fill out stuff on the website, take pictures, etc just to drop it off. As a female by myself, I felt very unsafe having to take the extra time do this after dark, distracting me from being aware of my surroundings. Not sure what I would have done also if I hadn't had my phone since I wasn't told beforehand that I had to do this from my phone.

I had to wait about fifteen minutes while an employee searched for the keys to the van I reserved. When I returned the vehicle, I was told in not the nicest way I needed to stay with the vehicle and that someone would help me. The same person, who told me I needed to stay with my vehicle, checked out the person who returned his vehicle after me, while I was still waiting.

when arrived the key was not in the drop box for 24/7 access had to wait over 30 minutes for someone to show up with the key and was told my time was still the same.

For some reason my reservation came from the Westheimer location but my actual reservation was at the Hwy 6 location. Unfortunately, I spent 45 minutes in line at the wrong location. However, I was re-directed to the Hwy 6 and all was smooth after that. The staff at Hwy 6 was efficient. They were ethical also. One client was trying to get the employees to cancel someone's reservation so he could use their vehicle. The employees refused to submit to the shady customer's demands.

I liked the convenient drop off process that all took place outside and didn’t require me to go inside the office. It was very efficient and fast. Consider using bar code scanners and mobile receipt printers , like rental car companies to make it even more streamlined.

No explanation was given to me about the online check in when I dropped the trailer at it's destination. Only because I am cautious did I call the originating location to confirm I had dropped the trailer. I was told to refer to the paperwork and follow the instructions. It is by luck that I was still on location when I attempted to do this as pictures are required - again, nothing of this sort was mentioned when I picked up the trailer. My experience was a good one but a better job could have been done when explaining what dropping off the trailer would look like.

I ordered online for a different location. They moved it to a new location 30 minutes before pick up. Cancelled my previous reservation and payment. I have no idea when or if I will be refunded. Had to come up with the rental cost again after everything was cancelled. The wait time was ridiculous and unnecessarily long. My pickup time was 10 am didn't get truck until after 12.

1. The front desk was understaffed. When the one person working to help customers in line, he responded that he was told by a supervisor to go to another location to pick up a unit. He eventually, opened another lane and helped me. 2. I reserved a trailer, got a response, checked in online to speed things up, then went to "my preferred pickup location" 1 mile from my house only to be told that my trailer was not there and instead, I had to make a 30 mile round trip to pick it up. There were trailers of the type I reserved at my preferred location, but they would not rent one way. I was never informed of my pick up location. My confirmation email and request to check in had the original location's address. It was not till I got there to pick up when I was informed on where I needed to go to get it. That is really bad. I would have given lower ratings for pick up, but it was not the fault of the reserved pick up location that this happened.

They overcharge me. Only noticed after left the place. Bad business ethics. They gave me a truck that was not quite 5/8. I rode 36 miles. before take back, replace the fuel with 4.133 gallons that were supposedly enough to since I only have 36 miles on it. They end up charging me another $16 dollars. Very disappointed, I always used Uhaul in Austin and never had this kind of problem before. This location is something else...

I made reservation a month in advance. Starting 4 days before my rental date, uhaul told me truck was unavailable. Moved my pick up location three times. It was frustrating. Finally a nice lady named Rachel was very helpful and found 26 foot truck I needed.

They put the wrong trailer number on my reservation. Where I went to return it, the trailer that I ended up taken was considered stolen, even though it was the site that hitched it. I'm glad I took pictures beforehand, otherwise I feel like it could've gone the wrong way. Ppl were nice, but their mistake could've been costly for me. Overall 6/10

Everybody at this store doesn't know what they are doing. I have no idea while 5 people at a place couldn't place a ubox order for me. I have to wait about 2 hours and came back next day before they finally figure it out. The older black guy in dread has always been disrespectful and unprofessional ever since 2014 that I've been going to this store. After this experience, I'm choosing a different uhaul store.

Truck broke down 45-50 minutes into trip, left headlight was out, brakes were seriously beyond repair, left side view mirror could not be adjusted, the car tower left brake light was out and the tightening mechanism on the car tower had been stripped and was hard to detach from uhaul truck. In all, cost us 2-3 hour delay though repairman was 1st class!!! Everything else was horrible. We had a similar experience 1/8/19 - 1/10/19 when rented a uhaul in which the steering was so bad, we couldn’t not drive over 40 mph.

The only problem I have with UHaul is that every time I make a reservation, when I get there they have no record. I make the reservation in person but when I come to rent the trailer there is no record. Please fix the software problem. I only rent Car Haulers and if I get there is no trailer for my reservation, I will be a former customer. Thankfully the staff at this location is very helpful and so far has been able to work it out.

Empty bottles of water left in the truck and the fuel tank marked in the contract didn’t match with the actual amount of fuel that was in the truck and I have to paid extra for gas that wasn’t in the truck at the time of picking up the truck because they wouldn’t take the truck unless I paid for the gas even though I had pictures to prove it. Also customer service was so rude when I tried to get help about this matter.

I was only told at the time I showed up that a phone call to an alternate phone number who would acknowledge knowing me was required before I could hook up. Had I known that in advance I would have had my alternate phone number prepared to handle this issue. As it was my alternate was in a meeting and could not answer. this took extra time to find and connect to an additional alternate phone number. The failure on the part of entire U-Haul organization to warn of this requirement is a gross failure of customer respect and service. I would also point out that the process is completely irrational and achieves virtually nothing for U-Haul operation. It can easily be faked by anyone with third grade education.

I got a truck with almost 120k miles for 2 hrs and drove for 19 miles. I took 4 gallons to take the tank to fill the original level. That is 5miles/gallon. I wonder if the fuel gauge was cheating me or got a truck that is no better than piece of crap.
