The 1 hour reservation cancellation policy is ridiculous. Sometimes life happens and we can't get there exactly when we need to. To cancel the reservation after 1 hour without speaking to the renter first is easy for you but not for the renter.Royce R.

Our truck while clean was not mechanically sound. it vibrated violently at 50mph. we didn't find that out until it was loaded and we were on our way to our destination. so we just drove slower, which probably helped save gas. we completed our trip unloaded the truck and brought it back. there was no one onsite to tell that to as the location was closed when we returned the truck. I was really impressed with the staff when we arrived though. they were pleasant and helpful. I would 100% recommend this location in the future. Just fix your trucks....james L.

I orginally ordered a 5x8 trailer, it was not available so they gave me a free upgrade to a 6x12 trailer. Trailer was clean and ready to go and it appears they had a alot of these on the lot. Give Nicole, the manager of this location, a raise. She is the one who made it possible for us to get the equipment we had requested. She also personally fixed mechanical problems with 2 vehicles that I saw. First, let me say the Canal St. Location did their job fine. However, I first tried the Cortland location, and the were terrible. They didn't keep a reservation I made 2 weeks in advance, claiming it didn't exist. I will never use uhaul again.Douglas M.
Everyone at the pick up and drop off locations was fine. Your master booking system seems to be a bit of a mess. I must have had to make three to four changes to my booking because things were down on the reservation incorrect. You need to fix this it's causing a lot of problems.Philip W.

I have NEVER had a worse experience with UHaul!! After receiving the 100% Guarantee that my truck would be available on-time at the agreed-to location, there was no truck or any size available within 80 miles of the the â€œguaranteedâ€ location. So, I had to drive my car for an additional 1.5 hours and over 80 miles each way to get the truck I was promised. I wasted time and gas in both my vehicle and the UHaul that was finally provided. Now today, I returned the vehicle as directed with the 1/2 tank of gas as supplied â€” and I just got charged an additional $18 for the agent reading the meter incorrectly. I supplied exactly 1/2 tank of gas at the location â€” NOT 3/8 of a tank.Jennifer S.

Counter rep did not know about the â€œskip the lineâ€ key pickup. When I went to the counter to pick up the key I was told to get in the back of the line and wait like everyone else even though I explained all I needed was the key. Once I waited in line and spoke to the counter rep he was very confused and said he'd never heard of checking in using a smart phone. Lucky, there was another rep that showed up with more experience that straightened out the reservation and gave me the key. I wasn't very happy to say the least.Ryan G.

They were the worst. The manager was MIA. Not one of them knew how to secure the reservation. One guy talked on the phone to his girlfriend who used bad language. Another talked politics that he knew nothing about. He also spoke negatively about the LGBTQ community, that I belong in.They were incompetent and unprofessional. The lady at the front desk was very rude, irritated, lazy and was unable to assist me with questions regarding my storage needs. Additionally, she was unaware of any discounts for military members. I have used UHAUAL services in the past for my moves and storage needs and this was a terrible experience. If I had a closer location somewhere else I would have used them. I am very disappointed with the atmosphere and the services received at this location.
