When we returned the truck the gentleman that took care of us was unfriendly. He acted as if we were bithering him. However he did save us some money by giving us the chance to take the truck and put more gas in it. We were in a hurry to return it and forgot ro xheck it.

I've had problems with you twice now sending me to locations where trailers don't exist. Also I called the stores before I left and was told the trailer was there ready for pick up only to arrive and be told there is no trailer there. No one wanted to help or try to make it better. Piss poor planning and customer service on your part! Not pleased or impressed!

My experience was abysmal. It was snowing; they recommended that we upgrade from a van to a truck. The truck had lousy traction and got stuck on the snow in the middle of the street, despite us having an ambulance driver driving it. It took an hour to get it out. We parked the truck in front of the house and left it there till streets were better plowed next day, then drove it back to shop, without using it for fear of an accident. We moved the household with 3 cars, none of which had major problems negotiating the streets. The UHaul staff refused to refund my money or take any responsibility for the poor performance of the truck.

Check-in was a little slow (no fault of the employee) because the computer would not allow "do you want to use the card on file for this purchase". I had to say "no" and slide card again before we could move on. this was the same card that I pre-registered with just 24 hours before. Small problem but frustrating. I loved the self checkout!

truck would not move in the snow at all. Definitely did not have snow or all season tires on it. i believe i should have got a refund. Very unhappy.

Our church rents trucks at least twice sometimes 3 times a month to pick up and deliver furniture for people in need. Most of our volunteers work full time so we normally pick up the truck around 4-4:30 pm and use it for 5-6 hours and then drop it off after the location is closed around 8-9pm. I had problems with the APP that you are now required to go on when you return the truck after hours and was charged for a truck for two days as well as insurance for two days even though we only had the truck for 5 hours. I called from work that morning and the location was busy and the call was forwarded. After explaining things to the lady on the phone she agreed I should stop back that day to this location to get this resolved. I stopped after work and they were not able to figure out how to give me a credit for the extra day and extra insurance and said that I needed to talk with the manager. They had a copy of my bill and I asked them to have the manager give me a call the next day and if possible I would try and call or stop by. I didn't receive a call and due to the weather I was not able to stop at this location to talk with anyone. I don't understand why we were charged for two days when we only had the truck 5 hours. Not sure why UHaul has changed the policy of returning trucks after hours but it is a very poor way of doing business. I will try again to stop at this location to get credit for the day we did not use the truck. I don't blame the location for a UHaul policy but am frustrated that no one called me after I came back to complain.

The location of pick up was changed 3 time. The truck had no gas in it when we picked it up, so the first thing we had to do was get gas, the 27 foot truck we rented in the middle of a upstate ny winter had bald tires which made travel difficult and extremely unsafe.

They did a great job, much faster than other local locations and very friendly. Syracuse temp was 7 degrees and they had started the truck so it would be warm, great touch that really made me happy with uhaul service.

next time make sure the truck is 3/4 full instead of only 1/2 full , I fuelled it before dropping it off and didn't get reimbursed.so with that said I got jipped on the fuel. and people looked like they where tired....
