I had minor mechanical issues with the truck I rented. Power steering reliability was the biggest issue. I brought it to the attention of the attendant when I returned the truck so hopefully the next person who rents the truck will not have the same issues.

The phone number listed 315 474 2923 did not connect when I was confirming my reservations. I called several times and I was put on hold. it was frustrating. I informed the employee about the phone number and she didn't seem to care. Also the women that waited on me needs to work on her attitude. You need better customer service !!

I have rented trailers from this location multiple times and recommend them. The return on this rental was slow due to limited staff and a lot of people picking up and returning due to the end of the Syracuse University school year. Given that, the assistant manager handled things well.

The uhaul after hours return was a problem. The web site would not upload a photo that was required to continue. I had to call customer service and spent 20 min on phone.

Easy drop off employees were friendly and efficient

No instruction was given on how to remove the trailer from the hitch it was installed for me but I did not know there was a button to press to remove it from the vehicle

The phone service was horrible. I called to make the reservation and the person answering the phone was not polite or helpful at all. His name is CONOR was not patient or wanting to explain things to me i felt belittled by the way he answered my questions.i was very disappointed and hoped not to deal with him when we arrived to pick up the truck.I was very impressed with the person who serviced us that morning his name was PHILLIP.So i hope you teach the person that answers the phone a little bit of patient and manners . Thank you and i hope you address the matter .

If somebody has a break down they should be able to call uhaul like I did and explain what happened without being forced to deliver trailer back to Syracuse with no brakes that part sucked rest was ok

Our car was hit in the parking lot at this location while we were both inside and waiting to get the cargo van that we had reserved. An employee, Zachary Garafolo, came in and asked if anyone was driving a red Jeep and we said yes. He told us we had been hit and then walked away. Offered no help and never checked on us again. We had all sorts of questions about something that had happened that was not at all our fault and he just walked away and didn’t say anything else to us. Not even any sort of this really stinks, I’m so sorry this happened to you... here’s how this is handled, etc. . I came back and tried to ask how it would be handled (we had no idea) and all he told me to do was call for a police report and that we “shouldn’t be at fault.” Seriously? How could we be at fault parked in one of the business parking spots while waiting in line. We ended up having to wait about 2 hours to get the police report done- threw off our whole schedule for th day (which he clearly did not care about). Savannah, who helped me with the rental, was wonderful, but Zachary Garafolo was so rude and acted like he could care less. Seeing how the store manager had the last name Garafolo too, I’m guessing he’s related and if this is how their family does business, I’d never give them my business again.

Truck smelled funny. I did mention to the store as well but the truck started to shake heavily when you reached 60 mph.

The only drawback I had was that I went a whopping 5 miles over what I anticipated and owed more money but I brought it back the night before it was to be back and with much more gas than needed. I paid a few more dollars than originally thought. Should've been a wash.

n/a the wait time was short, the service was fast, and dropping the rental back off was easy. Thanks.

Mention that vans can’t go one way online before someone comes to the store especially if the store called them....

Customer service was very POOR.

Understaffed. Myself and at least four other groups were stuck waiting with no staff in sight, wondering what to do as we returned our trucks. At the end of the month please staff your locations better- pay higher for those days to increase incentive and don't have your current employees be stretched and running.

The truck was not very good the transmission seemed to have problems , the brakes didn't work very well and the truck was very shaky. I am not sure I would use uhaul again.

I did the mobile pick-up, and (1) it was pretty difficult to find the truck even though at the end I had to take a picture of where it was parked to "help the next family find it" (where was my picture? that would have been helpful); (2) I still had to go in and wait at the desk to get the key for it - it would be nice if there was a better system for that, like a lock box with a code or something; and (3) dropping off the key, it said to put it in a drop box, but I couldn't find it and still had to go in and give it to someone at the desk. Overall, I would say that the mobile pick-up was still almost as much of a pain in the butt as just going in and filling everything out in person. On the plus side, I didn't have to talk to people (as much), but the whole process could definitely use some improvements.
