I think your service is the best service ever, but please make sure you be specific and clear about the price. Example, I ordered the pickup truck was $19.95 and $0.79/mileage, I drove 4 miles and it came in total of $45. This does not make any sense. But you guys still the best.😊Mbindula F.

I originally wanted a pickup, but at the time of my booking none was available so I opted for a 10 foot box. When I arrived, there was a pickup available due to a cancellation. The customer service was fine. But I haul as a whole makes things very inconvenient. They didn't have a dolly at Erie boulevard location (not one dolly!?) even though it allowed me to reserve it online. So I had to come to the Teal ave location and rent it separately. There is no way to drop the dolly off after hours so I was charged a second day (I work normal business hours till 5pm).Benjamin R.

Truck had 1/4 tank to start, was very jerky and sluggish even when it was empty. Nobody walked me to the truck, just sent me across the street and told me to look for the truck number. I've rented uhaul trucks several times over the years and never had a poor experience until now. I won't rent from this location again as they clearly don't care about customer service or maintaining their vehicles.Maria S.

Overall these folks run a 1st class operation. My only complaint though is the milegae and gas. I was instructed upon checkout to compare the mileage to the rental receipt. Also compare the gas gauge. If there was a discrepancy I could respond such in the email I received. The mileage and gas gauge were both different. I responded to my email WITH a picture showing both discrepancies. After returning the truck, I got an updated receipt showing still the incorrect mileage and gas gauge AND additional charges for mileage and gas. Now I have to go through the arduous process of getting my own money back, not to mention, the value of my time in my life I can never get back... Because people just couldn't do their job or follow their own protocols.Brad P.

Vehicle suspension was poor and vehicle bounced around a bit. That's not my real complaint. I kept the vehicle for 2 hours of a 4 hour rental. Nobody came out to greet me when I returned the vehicle. I had to bring the keys inside and my receipt was emailed to me. A $25 cleaning fee was on the receipt when I received it. I called the location to get an explanation but the call went to national customer service. The wait was 40 minutes so I drove back to the location to get an explanation. I had trapsed some mud into the cab and got it on the plastic floor cover. I did not notice it when I dropped the vehicle off but if someone had greeted me I still had 2 hours left on the rental to get a rag and wipe down the floor. Seriously this was a $25 charge for a 2 or 3 minute wipe down. No credit for returning the vehicle 2 hours early either. Overall this just wasn't economical and I will look elsewhere next time I need a truck.Robert K.

The state of the van was disgusting. The rep did NOT check me in when I dropped the van off, I was called by the location being threatened with police the next morning when I dropped it off the day before.Nicole L.
The truck's transmission was messed up, making it difficult to drive. I also was involved in an accident at the gas station, and although I was told when signing up that getting the insurance would only cost me $14.95, they did not mention the deductible. No one at the site asked if I was OK, nor did they seem willing to talk about their lack of sharing of information about the real costs. I will be taking this to customer service and seeking a refund on the amount they charged me. This is the second time I've had horrible customer service from Uhaul, and I'm so disappointed. I used to be a regular customer and always recommended the company to others. This will no longer be the case.Sheila C.

It was not this locations fault , however, we am reserved a 20' truck with a furniture dolly in advance online, only to be called the day before pick up that the truck was not available. We were reassigned to this location for a smaller truck, and upon arrival, there were no furniture dolly's available. This made our planned move more difficult.John R.
I was not let known that there was going to be a $20 charge for picking the vehicle up at 5 o'clock and dropping it back off around 8:30-9pm when I had scheduled it until 10. The person who helped me was a guy named Corey Rohadfox and he was VERY helpful, polite and went out of his way to help me. I had also dealt with Corey previously on July 30, 2022 and he treated me the same way on that occasion. I was very grateful for his help as this move was a last-minute thing. Didn't have appliance hand truck that I had reserved weeks earlier that was critical for move. When I asked rep to find one, he located one down the street. The 1 hour reservation cancellation policy is ridiculous. Sometimes life happens and we can't get there exactly when we need to. To cancel the reservation after 1 hour without speaking to the renter first is easy for you but not for the renter.Royce R.

Our truck while clean was not mechanically sound. it vibrated violently at 50mph. we didn't find that out until it was loaded and we were on our way to our destination. so we just drove slower, which probably helped save gas. we completed our trip unloaded the truck and brought it back. there was no one onsite to tell that to as the location was closed when we returned the truck. I was really impressed with the staff when we arrived though. they were pleasant and helpful. I would 100% recommend this location in the future. Just fix your trucks....james L.
