Your location today had a staffing / service breakdown. At the time we returned the truck there was no way to reconcile the rental. We just reviewed the statement and we have been overcharged $26.12 for fuel plus a $30 "fuel service fee". These charges totaling $56.12 are erroneous as we returned the vehicle with more fuel than we received at pick up. Please review the pick up adjustment where we noted the fuel level at pick up was not 3/8 tank rather much closer to 1/4. We also returned the truck with well over the live at check out. Your company had records this incorrectly on both pick up and drop off and we request a refund of $56.12.Robert P.

The tire pressure sensor light was illuminated and I couldn't read the mileage. When I turned the truck in your system wouldn't accept my photos. It kept telling me they were to old. Since I had just taken the pics that didn't make any sense and it never accepted the pics. I had to call customer service to get this corrected and I was assured that I wouldn't be charged extra. Thankfully I wasn't. I hope the truck I rent tomorrow doesn't cause me all that aggrevation. Thanks Bill LittlejohnBilly L.

Friendly and courteous service is a bit desired with the rep assisting at the front desk. No assistance loading the furniture dolly or dolly onto the truck. I wasn't directed to where the truck parked . I had to search for it myself. Never had to face this at other U-haul locations.Brenda C.
The receptionist had VERY long fingernails so it took her quite a while to process me. She had trouble picking up my credit card, drivers license and punching the keys to take picture of license and card and entering my information. You might want to put someone in that position that can handle the job faster so that customers won't be kept waiting while she fumbles around. Also, when you walk into the building there is no indication as to where the office/receptionist is. I stood there trying to figure out if I was in the right building before someone offered to assist me. The clerks were not busy, I was the only customer so one of them should have offered to help me instead of letting me stand there looking around for the office/receptionist. You need to put the receptionist area where it can be seen when you enter the building instead of in the far North corner quite a way from the entrance.BARBARA H.

I really didn't have a lot of money. If we pay our money, it should be a 24-hour rental. I was upset that I had to turn it in so quickly. If it's going to be half the time, it should be half the price. God bless ðŸ™CHAKITRA H.

The people there are great. The truck, however, was missing part of the window lever. The right side mirror was held in place by tape and would move on its own during travel. There were times when I would apply the brake and the vehicle would slightly pull to the left. I am not mad. I just hope someone fixes this before something happens.Wiliam Y.

Everyone at this location (Union Ave in Memphis) was extremely helpful and wonderful to work with. They asked lots of questions to help me determine what was the best option to meet my specific needs. I would have chosen something much bigger and more expensive than what I needed. The employees were all incredibly rude. I reserved a truck that they said they didn't have even though online allowed me to make the reservation. After I told them I just needed some kind of trailer they told me I didn't need to have an attitude with them and that they wouldn't help me. They finally found me a trailer to use for the same price and I was able to complete the task I needed it for. I was astounded at how rude from the start the employees were and if you even hint at having frustrations with the online process they will snap at you saying it's not their fault. I just needed a trailer for one hour and was confused as to what happened with my reservation! This location is terrible when it comes to helping the customerMcKenna C.

The most rude and unprofessional staff I have ever e8. I have never been to an establishment where employees were so out of line. It stinks that these people seem to not like their jobs, but don't take it out on the customer...honestly this location need a makeover with employees or to be completely shut down. Train your staff to be polite and enthusiastic about their work. My experience was unpleasant. The â€œrepresentativeâ€ without confirming informed me that they did not have my reserved dolly on site, and that was that. There was no going above and beyond to help, she did not offer to check with the nearest branch to confirm availability or did not bother to move and confirm the inventory or did not offer me any eta on next available dolly. I asked her would it be possible to confirm with the nearest branch, she retorted that I need to make that phone call, saying that branch will not pick up as that is too busy this morning. So, I decided to step aside and give the next customer a chance, while a made the phone call myself, and my call was promptly received by the other branch and confirmed availability of a utility dolly. So after I came back in the line, and was ready again for her. She decided to speak to the person behind me and asked for her reservation and decided to entertain her reservation. After that was complete, then she turned to me and told me that my reservation was cancelled, because I called the other branch. Then when I told her that, how is that possible, she then said, I see it now but the utility dolly is cancelled because â€œyou'd went ahead and finna called the other branchâ€. At that point, I was fed up and told her that this is not right, as I told her that there is a utility dolly in the back, and then she told me that was reserved and that I did not have my reservation for the dolly anymore. I told her that this wrong, I never cancelled my reservation at that location and never made a another reservation for that dolly at the other location. By the time, the GM entered and told me that she will help me out, none of the staff never apologized. That staff walked away saying that I was giving her disrespect. I disagree, this reflects poorly on your branch and your brand. I will not be recommending this branch or your company to anymore.MUHAMMAD H.

This store on Union Ave in Memphis Tn is extremely unprofessional and whenever I figure out how to make a complaint through corporate I sure will. I heard the lady there tell somebody to hang up in my face, she had an attitude from the moment she answered the phone. The truck wasn't clean and has issues. Pathetic service. I was only calling to get some clarification as to why I was charged for 3 days when I only had the truck 2 so therefore I was overcharged she didn't let me talk. I was charged for 2 gallons of gas, but left the level as i received it. They had no way to address my serious concerns, directing me to leave it in a review. This seems insufficient for the seriousness of this vehicle's problems. I feel fortunate to have made the whole trip with out injury. Due to the shaking and suspesion issues, the trip took much longer, as I had to stay below the speed limit, sometimes significanly below, making me a danger on the road.Laura B.

The truck that I paid over $200 for smelled like it had been used as a public restroom, and was soaking wet on the inside. The staff, though well intentioned, only made matters worse when I mentioned the smell by re-washing the inside and spraying some sort of odor spray inside that only made a bad smell worse. My clothes were wet after driving to my destination because the seats in the truck were soaked. The staff on site said that someone had left the window down but what I think happened was that someone left the door unlocked, the truck was used by local homeless folks as a bathroom, then they attempted to clean it but couldn't get it dry or get the smell out before my reservation. Upon returning, there is not adequate lighting at this facility at night and I was completely uncomfortable and at risk of being robbed or worse while returning this vehicle. I would ask for a refund but know I wouldn't get it - I will be using a different rental company next time.Josh C.
For the price that it cost me to store my items in the storage it wasn't really well kept. I had over $500 in damaged items. There was nice that got into the unit and ate threw my brand new mattresses and urinated on them. They ate kids clothes toys electronics and even toiletries like powder and soaps. I didn't think that having everything packaged in plastics and boxed down would still cause so much damage. I had this unit from July 2019 to Jun 2021 and the price went up and the maintenance went down. This was an awful experience and u-haul must do better. I still have went through everything as of yet but I know there may be more damaged items bsce some boxes are covered in rat feces and urine.
