This location has just about everything they can offer related to moving equipment and vehicles boxes, shrink wrap, dollies just about everything and I mean have a great move. Room lamp for one
Ralph bNone of the equipment ordered was in the truck. When I reserved the U-Haul th confirmation said all equipment would be in the truck. Upon return of my rental the U-Haul employee said the fact that I ordered online is why it was not in the vehicle for pickup. The U-Haul was basically on an empty tank of gas when received. The employee said the homeless must have siphoned the gas. Very disappointed with the service overall.
TYLER CI have rented from this location many times and I've even considered not renting from you anymore because of the previous crew that worked this location. They were rude and not very personable or professional. When I rented from you this time, I had a way better experience and the rental went smoothly. I would like to add that it seemed as though you were short staffed because the waiting time felt unreasonable, but overall I will be back to give you more business. Thank you

MATTHEW POn 3/29/26. I waited in line for 5 minutes and the front counter advisor stared to take my information and then said "I have to go, they don't pay overtime." It was 12:45pm- he said the next person would be here in 30 seconds. He walked away. The outside employee came in and up to the desk and said he could not work the counter. Another employee came in and asked if I was being helped. I told him what happen and he said he was not due to start until 1:00pm. He and the employee from outside checked the schedule and realized no one was scheduled from 12:45-1:00 PM. The employee waited on me rather than have me wait in line. He was very helpful. I had a different truck than my paperwork and the door lock on the driver's side did not work. I said it was fine. I started the truck and it was on E. I had to get another truck. I did not leave the until 1:45 PM. I got in line at 12:15 pm. The 2 employees were very nice. It was clear there was not enough staff available.

Ossi kThe truck was a bit scary on the freeway. The steering was extremely loose and it tended to wander. Bumps in the road made the wheel jerk and it was challenging to control especially at 55 MPH. Windshield wipers were useless.

JANET LCheck trailer wiring fuses in rental trucks, so when people purchase new expensive trailers they don't have to drive home for 4 hours in the dark without trailer lights working! (Not safe and a liability) Also, check tire pressure so the rental truck doesn't have 45 psi in 3 tires and 25 psi in 1 tire (not good for handling, gas milage or tire wear)

Cody MThe vehicle wasn’t clean on the inside and the representative took an air gun to blow. It out. Didn’t open up the cargo area to find that it was filthy when I got home. I had to sweep it out before I could put my belongings in it. I told the representative when I returned the vehicle thought I should’ve gotten some kind of a compensation since it clearly states that if the cargo area is not cleaned out. You charge a $25 cleaning fee. I had to sweep it out before I could put my belongings in it, and I swept it out again before I returned the vehicle. The young lady that checked me out in the morning and checked me back in at night was very helpful though, and that made the experience nice though I still think I should’ve been given some type of a discount for receiving a dirty vehicle.

shawna hI drove a grand total of nine miles and had to wait 45 minutes to check in, buy two gallons of gas to fill the van that clearly was not full if it took two gallons of gas to refill. When I questioned this Kaitlin said the pic I took of the mileage was when the car off so the fuel gauge showed empty. She rented it to me and told me it was full just a couple of hours earlier. And the odometer clearly showed how far I drove. So o got to pay for someone else not properly filling it. Poor experience.

Simon NI'm a little bit upset about the fuel charge!! When I left with the vehicle originally I went down a couple blocks and it came off of the half full tank. When I returned it I had filled it to the house tank and told the guy that it was just a little bit less than the half tank but that's what it was when I got it and yet I get charged for 2 gallons at $9 and 20 cents Fair so I'm not happy with that

I honestly tried to find a different truck after the expire on day 1. Unfortunately, the price with U-Haul was better than others and I rented day 2. Ugh. I hope never to need U-Haul again.

Have the vehicles in good running condition, the doors all work and that the vehicles are in a safe running and maintained vehicles with NO VUIMES OF ANY KIND ARE LEAKING INTO THE VEHICLES IN OTHERS A SAFE RUNNING VEHICLE.

It took over twenty minutes and the line was 6 people long by the time I was done. Also, there should be more staff at the checkout counter. The clerk was very nice at least.

COREY SI’m just bummed out because I’m already kinda stressed out about moving because I’m doing most of it by myself, already broke as can be from moving expenses, I rented a truck, and it had clearly been vandalized, there was soda thrown all over the front of the truck, leaves stuck in the wipers, I couldn’t even see through the windshield, and to top it off, after dropping it off 12 hours early I was charged another 300 dollars without notice of any kind, and after contacting support I was told there was damage to the top of the truck, I know I didn’t cause this damage, but how do I even prove that now? Just bummed out that I got slapped with this.
Bret WThe manager (Katelynn) was great and very helpful but the man who helped us with the truck was nice but not helpful. He didn't show or tell me how to turn off the tow/haul function (had to look it up) and he didn't share the code for the letter lock so when I returned the truck after hours I had to put the dolly in the cab since I could not lock the truck. Also the self check out procedure for after hours returns is awful: the process is so poorly designed and not intuitive that I returned the keys before I could take the pictures exactly the way the process demanded and if the pictures aren't to the exact specifications, the website will not allow you to move off the page. I did contact the after hours number for this specific location and Katelynn was very helpful. Just to be clear the after hours self checkout is not the fault of the employees but I still want to warn the next person since it's such a mess.
Jacquelyn BWe said that we live in Winnemucca and wouldn’t be traveling back to Reno. The guy said okay and got us the car hauler trailer. Well the following day we went to return it to Winnemucca and was told it was supposed to be returned to Reno! We had to pay for their mistake which was $239.13. We are trying to get it fixed but we’ve gotten nowhere other than a ticket in hopes someone responds. It’s frustrating and time consuming.
VERNON BThis is the best UHaul location in Reno, Nevada. If you are seeking short-term, or even long term storage, I would greatly recommend the UBox. Upon opening my box, everything was in perfect order.
