It was my first experience with U Haul and went worst. - Reservation didnt knew location closing time - Location manager didnt place the key as what was showing on the app - Took us 2 hours to get hold of the vehicle after reaching the location. Wish I dont need U Haul service again.

Staff speaking language, yelling at customer, unprofessional. Gas not where it says it would be. Vehicle dirty and not sanitizer. No windshield washer fluid. I could go on. I'm used to the Kingston road location in Scarborough and they're excellent, the only reason I go to this location is because it's close to Costco where I buy furniture and use the uhaul is move it, but never again.

The guy who was supposed to hook up the trailer was extremely rude to me, he had a terrible attitude. I handed him the wiring adapter and he told me to put it on myself. Every other time I've rented, the guy hooking it up would attach it for me. After that things went down hill. To top it all all, he was wearing his mask on his chin. The staff inside the store would not give me his first name, which makes it very difficult to call and complain about him. Stay away from this location.

Absolute worst uhaul dealer I have ever dealt with, you Scam ppl, your trucks are in miles not km, you upmark them on ppl, I bring the truck back 3/4 of a tank like it was when I took it, you say it was supposed to be 15/16, another $30 charge, your preparation links expire so we cant back track but your invoice link doesnt expire...go figure! Fuk you ppl you're disgusting, no wonder you have bad reviews, I'm not paying your so called extra charges, throw me in the credit bureau, thats fine! Budget or Enterprise next time for me!

why did you cancel up on my first u haul reservation? i had so many issues with uhaul booking. This is totally unprofessional.

The truck drop off area is too small and if enough people drop off moving trucks at the end of the month it blocks the entrance/exit. They should just have people park the trucks in parking spots. There was a large crack down the side of the truck. (mainly cosmetic). Instructions where not very clear on where to drop off the keys for return outside of open hours.

The self-car drop off feature was near useless. Tried 3 different browsers on my phone and they all had errors. Kept glitching and had to restart halfway. Its a new phone from 2020 too. After 30 mins of trying to use it, I gave up and left the keys and wrote a note.

I had to travel from Downtown toronto to pick a truck and had to drive back to dropoff that is 40km total to pickup and dropoff.Its sad that one can't drop off at the nearest uhaul location.Not Happy at all.

I booked on January 1st. On January 29th, I receive a call from you to confirm the reservation, but the representative did not say where she was calling from--to me, it would've been from where I originally booked. Luckily, I noticed the pick up location had changed to a location 30 minutes away. It would be nice to know that the location has changed well before the date so I could look for another service as it was inconvenient, especially on a moving day. Lastly, please advise your representatives to clarify and confirm which location they are calling from. Overall, I will most likely explore other services in the future.

When I arrived to return the cargo trailer I rented, it was apparent that other customers had dropped off their trailers and did not park them properly. I had to wait for someone to come out to show me where I could drop the trailer. A minor inconvenience. Other than that, there were no issues. The trailer I used worked very well. Thanks.

Make sure the tires on the trailers are not bald. It is unsafe and if something ever happened while the trailer was being used by me , Uhaul would have been responsible. It's a very simple fix. Bald tires belong on race cars.

Had a miserable first time experience with UHaul. The equipments booked were missing from the truck, lost 3-4 hours of time struggling to get the equipments i had booked in advance. My bed got damaged because of lack of furniture pads which i had booked but never got. I lost the elevator timeslot which was orebooked and had to wait for entire day before i could get another slot, had to pay a fine for it. So much of loss and inconvenience only because Uhaul could not provide me what i had pre-booked and paid for. Will tell my friends and family never go for UHaul

I could not find the truck and had to go to the far rear after they said it was on the side. I returned the truck before 5PM the same day. The next morning at about 6:40 am, I was woken out of my sleep to a call from a rep saying they did not have the truck. I did not appreciate this rude awakening.

I was surprised to have to provide an emergency contact name when I went to pick up the truck. That could have been done online. And then I was made to wait why the person was called to verify they knew who I was and that they were a real contact. to wait while they called the contact to verify they were real. I asked why this step was needed and was told it was policy.

Guys at the front desk can't even explain well to other customers the rental process and rental options- they are bad salesman, was waiting 1 hour to get my already pre-registered trailer and in front of me in line were only 3 other clients- they spend all that time trying to sale insurance for rental coverage to each customer and none been sold. You should get better trained people - those guys makes you looks stupid be honest with you and not bringing extra money to the company + you loosing money - for that waiting hour behind me were already maybe 10 or more other customers and 3 of them turn around and walk away - nobody want wait that long. Guys who working on the yard- great!

The big older guy in the yard who appears to be the manager was so rude. He came over barking something to the young guy hooking up my trailor all while absolutely ignoring my question of whats wrong ? He continued to abruptly lift off the trailer from my hitch narrowly damaging my bumper and roughly dropping tbe trailor . All while still ignotme completely In angry manner tven poinys and yells at young very personable guy who HE COUKD LEARN SOME BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE TIPS FROM ! Young guy appolgized for his behavior as he walked away still ignoring me THE CUSTOMER WHOS CAR HE WAS SCREWING WITH ! His personality is terrible creepy and angry with absolutely no respect for others . HE SHOUKD NOT BE IN A JOB THAT REMOTELY INTERACTS WITJ YOUR CUSTOMERS . I have used this location for many years and its run very well and clean. Was very impressed.

I was given an all-in price on the phone and I arrived with my own lock which was a high quality lock. When I came in to rent the van body, I was told I was required to purchase and use a Uhaul lock. That lock was junk and did not even secure through all three portions of the van body door fastener (but my own lock did). The staff were rude on several occasions. additionally, I was taken for the first time, on a golf cart, to see the unit, the driver smashed the roof of the cart on the opening garage door and debris flew at me. The ‘gold’ lock that goes on the left side of the unit is also a joke. One swing of a tack hammer would open it. Obviously this is just a means of pressuring people into paying more for 24 hour access in addition to forcing people to buy a crappy uhaul lock. The location is not secure and my unit leaked, damaging a $4000 mechanical massage chair. I have, over the years, rented many, many uhaul trucks, mostly for business purposes, but sometimes for personal use (as I did to fill up my vanbody storage rental). I did not rent from uhaul when I emptied it out. Because of your unfair, gauging policies, rude staff, inadequate facilities and the generally poor service (staff would not even provide me a paper receipt a email only) uhaul has lost my business permanently. Your service is terrible!
