Honestly, this location has completely restored my faith in Uhaul. The staff there were amazing. Specifically, Everton and Norris (as well as the lady that worked inside at the cash). They went above and beyond to help my husband and I . Because of them I will try to only ever deal with this location!!!! They all deserve a raise!

The U-Haul 24/7 app was not working, nor did any of the staff know how it worked. The truck was good. Someone had left a window open so it was wet inside, but no great bother there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Still wish the 24/7 part works. It would be great.

the customer service was ex excellent, however when I went into storage unit I could see on the bottom of the unit mold spores I could smell it and as I was moving I noticed that the mold was on my couch my mattresses my dresser my deep freezer and as I unpacked some of my clothes and art work and picture frames with wood framing I am very dis pleased as I thought there was tempature control in each unit as well as I was paying insurance on the unit

First vehicle offered was dirty, wet and muddy. After notifying staff a new vehicle was issued. To improve, make orders more clear for online receipts and transactions for customers and staff. I had purchased a mattress bag that was not given at point of pick up because it was not showing on my reservation receipt. Neither of us could go back and check the original order either. Eventually I had reborn the item after showing I had already paid for it online. Make the reservation and add ons more clear.

There is a poor system in place for finding the truck that was given to me. I was delayed 20 minutes trying to find it myself, carrying two heavy dollys. At least at the end the employee changed the wiper on her initiative.

I rent U-Haul trucks all the time. I don't understand why the process can't be faster. Everytime I have to wait in line for 10-15 mins and then when I get to customer service I have to show them my drivers license even though I uploaded it online. They take forever to process my rental which makes it very frustrating for me. U-Haul needs to figure out a way to make this easier for people who rent often.

I would have definitely recommended this location to friends prior to this barcode scan for after hours drop off. First of all the sign is so high on the wall it's almost impossible to take a picture and the scan didn't work for anyone trying. Myself and several customers were stuck outside trying to figure it out and take many different pictures to hopefully have it work. None of us were successful and we ended up doing a live chat and phoning the 1800 number for assistance on what to do. 45mins later I was successful and was on my way, but left 4 others who were trying what I did exactly and still not getting anywhere. Something has to be off or was that night with the system. After a long day of moving who wants to deal with an extra hour of hassels and possibly late charges that are to no fault of our own?! Then to find an email a few days later claiming I owe almost double of what I paid. I returned truck on time, with correct mileage and gas OVER the amount of what I was supposed to. I rent from uhaul regularly (and always quote correct miles to ensure my intial payment is as close to correct as possible) and this by far was the worst and most frustrating return ever that now has some incorrect extras charges attached. Also going to mention that the pictures required to return the vehicle are only allowed to be taken with live time in your app, which is fine for us to not have copies, but not fine when there is a dispute in the charges. Had I have not been so exhausted from the move and the extra technical scanning barcode issues maybe I would have taken pictures myself to keep in my phone for records. Maybe you can email us copies of the pictures along with our final invoice as it will save the headache of comparisons when there may be a dispute.

The wait time in line was far too long as there was only one person working to rent/pay for products. Additionally, there was an irate customer in the store arguing with staff, and on one mitigated the situation, rather they allowed this customer to scream and belittle the woman working at the counter over something that has nothing to do with her. the woman who helped me was really nice but clearly overwhelmed due to lack of staff. The girl outside helping with equipment was also really nice but the trailer we rented was rusted out, and the side of the trailer hitch was broken. I will NEVER rent from this location again, regardless of how affordable the rental is. It took over an 1.5 hours from start to finish to obtain a simple rental.

I researched the truck and U-Haul sent me confirmation to pick up the truck at 340014th Ave which is 8 minutes from my home.Then September 2, another email sent to me to pick up at the other location at 71 Feelar , Vaughan where is 32 minutes from me I went there at 12 pm September 4,There was no one there cause the place closed on Sunday.I called the number .The lady gave me a combination to open the lockbox which the key was inside.I spent 50 minutes tried more than 30 times to open it No way,the combination was right'BOLT' the turn was right,the position was right.I email the photo of the lockbox to Patricia Mullen,she was the one helping Couldn't open it!She helped me to search any other locations have truck available.She found me one at 1555 Warden Ave.I drove another 30 minutes there to pick up the truck.My goodness! This was my horrific experience . I would ask U -Haul to compensate on this. I would ask U-Haul to give me full refund on my rental. P.s. But I really appreciated Patricia Mullen with me in one hour and trying her best to help me.Otherwise I could not make any move.

Have more cashier/booths open during service hours so that there isn't a long lineup in order to get your reserved rented vehicles. There was only two cashiers booths open but 4 cashier booths were available to be opened. I waited in line for 45+ mins to get my vehicle. Instead of starting the 7 hr timer when I was served they started it at 9 AM when I was still in line waiting for my vehicle. Had I known that this was the process I would have booked the vehicle longer so that I would have had the vehicle for the exact 7 hrs that I needed it for.

Hey there, The 1555 Warden Ave location was great but we initially booked a Uhaul van at 2574 St Clair for 6:30am and when I got to the location the van was double booked and the other person ended up taking the exact van I was supposed to take. We had to call around to figure out where we could get a van asap and had to drive to Scarborough to pick up a van at the 1555 Warden Ave location. We were told we would get a $50 credit for the mistake on Uhaul end for double booking the van. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you

We had a confirmed pick up location which we had booked a month ahead. But just the day before the pick up date uhaul texted us that the location has changed to Down town instead of thornhill! After hours of waiting and talking to the customer service they just apologized and changed it to Scarborough! It was a very bad and stressful experience with uhaul.

There have a line up every time , only one person is attending all customer . My time for pick up is 8: 30 in the morning but due to line up I have to wait 1 hour. Other than that the service is very good . You have to hire more people so that it less time consuming.

It was very disappointing that only one staff person was working the counter at the busiest morning pickup times. The line was out the door! It was a good thing I arrived a half hour early for my reservation time because the delay in the lack of service staff only resulted in me being 15 minutes late for my reservation. This is totally unprofessional for a business that relied upon early morning rentals and timed reservations!! At least have a staff member for just reservation appointments which was half the line.

They charged me for refuelling, while I'm sure that I refuel the car exactly to the same level as pick up time. It was not fair at all. When I received the receipt, I emailed them and explained the situation. However, nobody has replied to my email yet! It was not my first time renting from U-Haul. I know the rules. However, this time was really a bad experience.

I had a very bad experience with the rental this time. First they changed the location for the pick up with a one too far from my house, second when I came on time there was no trailer availavle and I had to wait 2 hours on unbearable heat intil they redirected me to another location and I lost several hours driving back and forth and couldn't load my stuff in time and when I asked to extend the time with one more day they allowed me to keep it for only 20 more hours but charged me the full price. I am very disappointed this time.

So I arrive at 2:30. Lined up out the door. Left at 3:45 with my $19.95 a day for my trailer rental. After $8 insurance and tax $37.?? I took my daughter to university today and traffic both ways was disgusting. Not Uhauls fault but I returned the very old and rusty trailer 3 hours late or 2:15 after the 3:45 departure and 1:15 of waiting because your store was understaffed. Now I get a bill for an addition $31 for my time sitting in traffic with this old and rusty trailer I rented. So for a simple rental I'm now in for $68 plus dollars Sorry that is so wrong on so many levels. I was also driving around with a trailer from Florida. I don't know the age of it but it was extremely noisy over ever bump on a road. Certainly not well maintained but it was clean inside. Chances of me renting from Uhaul again. Very unlikely. There is nothing like waiting 1:15 for service so I could take the trailer which I booked over a month in advance. Then to be charged for the extra 2 hours a full days rental plus insurance on a trailer at auction the would fetch near nothing due to its overall condition. Is just ludicrous. I doubt you'd fetch $68 for that dented and rusted rental I received. I expect a return phone call from management on this poor transaction. Thanks, Joel Spillman 416-543-1617

I had pre booked the truck and was told it would be back by 3 so i can pick up by 5 and i called in advance saying i would be there 4:30 is the truck ready i was told yes its waiting. I arrived 4:35 i was told the customer still has it and is bringing it back at 5 and if i want i can pay more for a bigger truck. At 5:15 i could not wait ant longer because i had a elevator booked. And was forced to pay more for a more expensive truck that i DID NOT NEED. The truck itself is rusting the back door seized multiple times.

I had reserved online a particular storage unit base on it's size. At the time of booking there was one unit left. I had the option of paying at the counter or completing the transaction on line. I choose at the counter. When I arrived I was told the locker wasn't available anymore. I assumed they meant because of me. The staff said no, someone else rented it. When I asked for an explanation they said is was on first come basis. I don't understand how you can book online and have the store override the transaction. As I already booked a truck I was forced to take a smaller unit.

1)Light was required in the storage since it was a 24 accessI selected...I was there until 9pm and I had to use my phone light. 2) When the rain fell water settled in front of my #700 storage and was a Hazzard for me.....with my in and out of the storage, the storage became dirty and I feared I may fall. Being on the second floor I found it very inconvenient to move things into and out of my unit. and it didn't effect me thankful, but I did have a huge I beam in the middle of my unit. But other then the price being a little expensive, I WOULD recommend people to your facility

Yall came clutch for the man dem !! 🤣😭😭Uhaul is the "company king" Every body goes to dem bcuz their so freakin busy sometimes you cant even get a truck or storage but eh that's how good the service is you gotta plan ahead of time and make sure you have uhaul on your back to go. Access to the outside unit is good. Unit very spacious. But outside area is not well lit at night. I had to keep my car headlights on to see what I was doing. Not clear on how security is maintained at night. No security gates. Also I would recommend dropping the $10 charge for 24 hour access since anyone can get into the area at any time of day or night so what are you paying for?

Had a problem with a default lock that was sold to. The keys would not open it and got stuck. They took a few days to resolve the issue and wanted to double charge me for a new one. The sales rep who said that she was acting manager wasn't very nice. Thank God I'm out of there. Wouldn't choose this location again

I opted to move my stuff to another non-Uhaul facility as this one I found to be not only overpriced but also not maintained well. My boxes were damp and right from my first day there I had a terrible time trying to close the locker door (I also had two friends attempt to close it and both struggled as well). Additionally, every time I opened the door or shut it a bunch of sawdust (our what I believe to be sawdust would fall on me). The containers were not in good condition and I was not willing to risk having my stuff in there during the Winter months.

No elevator's!! Had a heck of a time trying to carry stuff up then down those stairs. Dolly's where provided both at top and bottom of stairs but useless on stairs. Not informed of this when I accepted a 2nd floor unit. If I had known stairs were involved wouldn't have accepted a unit on the second floor.

STOP IT! management: wake up to the fact you don't understand what customer service means. Get retrained so that the staff don't get the full brunt of the criticism and harassment because of your blindspots. I would never buy a franchise for that reason. The company is losing millions and they don't know it and probably do care. So sad. Get the president to become ab undercover boss if he/she really care about the huge losses.

Little frustrating that you can’t use your own lock especially when you are short on money and have none, yet need to store items so you can get the trailer back and get a refund. The drop off location is not at the storage unit and you are already very stressed with everything else going on that this just adds to it.

Monthly charges to the wrong account, despite clear instructions caused emails notices, letter of threats of liens, letters to my secondary contact... I vacated the locker due to your inability to properly manage my account. I’ll try Discount rentals next time!

I was given an all-in price on the phone and I arrived with my own lock which was a high quality lock. When I came in to rent the van body, I was told I was required to purchase and use a Uhaul lock. That lock was junk and did not even secure through all three portions of the van body door fastener (but my own lock did). The staff were rude on several occasions. additionally, I was taken for the first time, on a golf cart, to see the unit, the driver smashed the roof of the cart on the opening garage door and debris flew at me. The ‘gold’ lock that goes on the left side of the unit is also a joke. One swing of a tack hammer would open it. Obviously this is just a means of pressuring people into paying more for 24 hour access in addition to forcing people to buy a crappy uhaul lock. The location is not secure and my unit leaked, damaging a $4000 mechanical massage chair. I have, over the years, rented many, many uhaul trucks, mostly for business purposes, but sometimes for personal use (as I did to fill up my vanbody storage rental). I did not rent from uhaul when I emptied it out. Because of your unfair, gauging policies, rude staff, inadequate facilities and the generally poor service (staff would not even provide me a paper receipt a email only) uhaul has lost my business permanently. Your service is terrible!
