All the staff I dealt with on check-in, initial hookup and subsequent equipment return were very good to deal with. In particular, the staff member who helped us return the equipment was awesome. He was very enthusiastic and a great team member to deal with.

MARIO P.Overall, the self pick up is fairly easy to navigate and complete. It took a while for the online agent to approve the final step, but overall the rental went well. The truck was great, the staff was great. Sarge was great at the return drop off. We dropped off and left and shortly after received our final receipt by email.
Annie W.When I was there, their system crash or the computer went down. It took almost 15 mins before all the computer restart. But 20 mins. before the computer crash I was already in front of the line. There were 4 counter open 3 with customer and 1 just walking around not doing anything. One of the 3 on the counter is also just chatting to a customer. The Staff need to know that we customer also need our time and we are also in a hurry. If they have entertainment my request before the computer crash I will not stay inside their for an hour. Those staff at the counter need to learn more CUSTOMER SERVICE the staff at the back are very good and helpful

Luis C.The service was great but when I returned the truck at 6 pm there was only one attendant with a line up that took 15 min before it was my turn. No fault of the attendant but at the return time there should be more that one person cashing people out. Also From the time I booked the truck and until I picked it up the mileage amount changed 3 times and every time it was higher that is not acceptable. Once the customer agrees on a per mile amount it should not change. That is poor service from the company.

Shunning P.Very very poor experience, Booked a truck over a month in advanced on the day I was moving, got there , they did not have my truck , so then they said if I drive 45 minutes to a Scarborough location they'll have a truck waiting for me, Get there and they were lying again , and had no truck there and I was forced to take a small van that could not hold half of the stuff we needed to move so i had to book threw another company who actually had a bigger truck all at my own cost because your company would only credit 50 dollars which is a joke

Had to go in in person... poor service.

The location did not provide dolly, told me to pick one up myself, which I was charged separately by the other location, then this location had the audacity to charge me twice for it! !!! I would have complained to get a refund but I am too busy. Instead, I am definitely speaking badly to everyone I know about this, because I am making time for it !! You can see the receipts yourself. Horrible, incompetent and dishonest !! Shame on you.

David-Alan L. | Overall ExperienceI was given an all-in price on the phone and I arrived with my own lock which was a high quality lock. When I came in to rent the van body, I was told I was required to purchase and use a Uhaul lock. That lock was junk and did not even secure through all three portions of the van body door fastener (but my own lock did). The staff were rude on several occasions. additionally, I was taken for the first time, on a golf cart, to see the unit, the driver smashed the roof of the cart on the opening garage door and debris flew at me. The ‘gold’ lock that goes on the left side of the unit is also a joke. One swing of a tack hammer would open it. Obviously this is just a means of pressuring people into paying more for 24 hour access in addition to forcing people to buy a crappy uhaul lock. The location is not secure and my unit leaked, damaging a $4000 mechanical massage chair. I have, over the years, rented many, many uhaul trucks, mostly for business purposes, but sometimes for personal use (as I did to fill up my vanbody storage rental). I did not rent from uhaul when I emptied it out. Because of your unfair, gauging policies, rude staff, inadequate facilities and the generally poor service (staff would not even provide me a paper receipt a email only) uhaul has lost my business permanently. Your service is terrible!
