This location seems to be understaffed at peak hours. When we were getting our truck, one customer service agent was helping 2-4 customers simultaneously. She was doing an amazing job at it, but she shouldn't have to be the only one.

I made contact with 3 employees at the branch I could say only 1 of them had a decent attitude. I needed a small truck to move a sofa and loveseat. I rented on on a saturday for less than 4 hours and drove it less than 50 miles. I was charged $84. After I prepaid with my credit card, presented my drivers licence, they required me to give them something else to show them I will return their truck so I gave them my wor ID. I returned the truck when I was done and was contacted the the only polite employee. He checked the truck in and told me I did not have to go inside. Unfortunately, I forgot my work ID. I showed up at on Monday at 7:00 am and knocked on the door to the office (the only one that was closed and locked). At leas two people were behind the desk and I can tell they heard and saw me. They sat there for a minute or so until they felt that they were open. One came and unlocked the door. I told him I forgot my badge and needed it to go to work. He found it hanging on the back wall. He picked it up and attempted to hand it to me. That is to hold it for enough over the counter so I had to reach to my limit and nearly loose my ballance to snatch it from the employee's hand. I can honestly say that u-haul branch lost a customer and possibly more because I am telling anyone that will listen to me about my experience.

Originally online uhaul rep scheduled a reservation for a transporter at another nearby location. I went the next day after a 3 hr trip for pickup only to find facilicty normally closed on that day (Thurs). 1st trip delay! Went driving around to other nearby facilities to locate another and finally found one here. 2nd trip delay! They had several but the one I was given had the threads messed up on the ball hitch clamp and it took an excessive amount of wait and time to get it to work and loaded onto truck hitch and then only after the tech used a wrench to get it past the bad threads. 3rd trip delay for me. Would have preferred to have been given a different one at the beginning of problem but was told I was getting that one even with the several failed attempts to get it closed and locked onto to ball. Techs were courtious and helpful but the above mentioned delays combined set me back almost 2hrs on my return home trip and a late arrival for my wife to go to work on time.

Truck had a cut parking brake line. When I called to report the problem i was first asked to drive it back, i asked they bring me a new truck and pick it up. I was told someone would call me back shortly. An hour later no one called. I called the number got the uhaul main line and was transferred multiple times with no help. I was transferred between service, roadside assistance, and reservations. I had to drive back to pick up a new truck waisting 2hours and having to pay moving labor to sit on their hands. You can’t get a local person to return a call. To have a truck in that condition go uninspected is unsafe, To ask someone to drive back a truck with parking brake issues is horrible at best, to have no empathy indicates UHaul just doesn’t care.

I wound up at Wrightsboro Rd due to HORRIBLE service at the Gordon Hwy Augusta Location. The Gordon hwy location DID NOT RENT ME A TRUCK.The service was terribly slow..(In line for 45 min) with three customers ahead of me ...2 of which did not rent anything...and I saw them at the Wrightsboro Rd Location...they rented there. There is just too many failures to list here....As I left I'm 90% sure the counter help(input clerk) Muttered "by Cracker" in condescending tone.....UHAUL YOU HAVE A PROBLEM...by the way Broad St location in Augusta and Wrightsboro Rd in Augusta are FANTASTIC TO DEAL WITH....where is the disconnect UHAUL...I will follow up thanks.

The truck I was provided with had mechanical issues that should have been spotted had a proper inspection been done. The truck leaked transmission fluid all over my drive way at my newly built house causing stains that are unable to be removed. Then after being told to drive the truck anyways even after reporting the issues the truck broke down in the road. It took an hour to reach roadside assistance. Then another 5 hours before the truck was removed. Instead of U-Haul offering a replacement I had to drive to their location and nearly beg for a replacement. Which they eventually but seemingly reluctantly did. The professionalism and commitment to customer service is more than lacking and I can assure you in the future this will not be an option that I use.

I am still waiting for money to be refunded to me. I picked up the truck on the 7th of June and returned it on the 8th of June. Reservations were made on the 6th, but truck was not picked up until the 7th. Please refund my money for the truck. Thank you.

My move before this one with Uhaul was horrified to say the least. They charged me for the truck rental twice which overdrawn my account which made my automatic drafts transactions accumulate fees. Nothing was done to accommodate this mass mistake if that's what it was. Nevertheless the overall service on this one was nothing short of amazing.

that location needs more parking. i had to park at krystal's restaurant next door and i was a little concerned about my car being tampered with or towed.

We have an issue that needs to be addressed. The auto transport was not secured to the uhaul truck. We got our vehicle halfway on the auto transport and it jumped off off the hitch ball and went forward. Luckily the uhaul truck stopped the transport from going forward too much and there was no injury. We had to roll the vehicle off of the transport and my husband had to secure the transport to the truck. Had this not happened in our driveway and happened on the road there would probably have been fatalities. Don’t be afraid to make the employee double check any equipment that is attached to another vehicle at any location, especially this one. My husband strained his back during this process and now we will have to pay a late fee on the truck because he has had to recuperate some before unloading.

I was charged $60 more then my equipment contract was. When I asked Hymond Meriweather why the price he charged me was $60 more then the contract he stated, "I don't know, taxes"? What he was really doing was increasing his commission at my expense because I was on a time schedule and HAD to get that trailer. I had checked on my reservation previously 3 times, to make sure there would be no problems. Hymond fattened his wallet while taking from me. I have since found out that Hymond wrote in his notes that "I refused to drop off at Albany,NY"...This is a blatant LIE! He NEVER GAVE ME THAT OPTION, which is apparently the option that I would have only had to pay $169 as the contract states. Shame on U-Haul for condoning this behavior. I will NEVER use your company again after this. U-HAUL DELIBERATELY STOLE MONEY FROM ME.

I returned the uhaul with the same gas we picked it up with 1/8 tank amd had pictures to prove it. The guy said it was ok that we would get our deposit back and then ended up taking all of my deposit anyway!! I will be making a claim

I was told I had 3 days to bring the trailer back. I picked it up in the afternoon . I was not told nor did I read that it had to be back by 9:00 a.m. I brought it back at 11:50 a.m. I was charged an extra day after i had left.. The drop off time should be verbally made clear at pick-up. Other than that it was a great experience.

Make sure your staff is always professional -- morning was excellent. The staff member who helped in the 9 AM hour was patient with this 'old' man and helpful to ensure I understood what I was doing. Best wishes U-Haul!! No problem with vehicle!!

Terrible service when you have two flat tires before reaching my destination. On top of that employees went as far to argue with me about a service that they did not pay for. Terrible service and would recommend no one to be. aggravated with this type of follishness. Never go this route again. One employee even tried to tell me the tires were good tires and my reply was if so put them back on the trailer for the next customer. I rented a truck and a trailer and one was no good to me without the other. One employee told me well the truck worked as if that would be some plus for me. Not. I I paid for both to be functional. My truck was not ready for mobile pickup and instead of just bringing the truck out I went through the entire pickup process again. It too multiple reservations to get a truck a day after needed because the original truck wasn’t ready the night before.

I had rented the truck with the self service app. There were two guys there that asked me what I was doing. When I told them I was using the app to rent the truck they didn’t even know such a thing existed. Kind of awkward - although they were polite.

I dropped the tow dolly off after hours on a Saturday night, called on Monday and was told it would be logged in and my rental closed. It took till Wednesday and numerous calls to U-Haul corporate and the drop off location before I finally got someone to log the equipment in and close my reservation. I am not impressed with the service.

Truck was very well beat up front end needed alignment, a/c was not cold, it was ok for me to use locally but I don't think it would be good to have it go on a long trip, been driving commercial vehicles 38 years truck needs repair

I rented from U-Haul for the past two years. I had no issues with break ins or damages regarding my belongings. Very busy location, only downfall that I disagree with is you cannot park lot.
