Dustin DEveryone we had interaction with during our moving process with UHaul were absolutely amazing. Very accommodating, very knowledgeable and did an unbelievable job of making sure we were able to move with as few a problems as possible. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone else and use UHaul again myself.
Ryan PU-Haul of Abilene was fantastic to work with. They were able to work with us to drop the boxes earlier than expected when they had an opening. They picked them up when they were scheduled and everything went smoothly. UHaul of Duluth, MN was great to work with when it was scheduling and organizing our UBoxes. Sadly, we had a poor experience with their third party movers, Northeast Moving Labor. We had at least 8 pieces of furniture that arrived with significant scratches/dents in them with other pieces being completely broken off (rocking chair, dresser). Unfortunately, no one wanted to take accountability for it, so we are left with furniture that is in poor condition and no compensation to replace. Next time, it looks like we will be doing the packing ourselves.

Ken KUnfortunately my experience was not the best. Wait times were super long and employees could not get us into a storage unit due to missing lock keys or accidentally sending us to the wrong unit multiple times. Our only good experience was when general manger Debby helped us out. She was extremely respectful and helpful and handled our situation like a pro.

STANLEY MWe were overcharged by $115. A girl called us after we had already physically turned it in in person and asked if we were going to be making it to our return time on time. They did end up reimbursing but it was just chaotic. Seemed like things were not together. Was a little disappointed.

Sean PI am supposed to fill up gas tank to the level it was when I picked up truck. I did this; however, I was still charged > $9 for gas. Someone at UHaul either doesn't know how to read the gas tank, I made a mistake somehow (doubtful, as I always fill when return), or UHaul needs to have a clearer system for this, i.e., "fill to 1/4", or "1/2 tank", or "full," etc. I am already paying UHaul more than enough for the mileage. There should at least some flexibility if it's close? I just used a truck for 2 days, and I was charged about $343 in addition to the amount (about $75) I spent on gas (as I'm mentioning). For a corporate account, I feel this is completely ridiculous!!

Chelsea BThe customer service was friendly and the truck was clean! However the truck had some maintenance issues requiring repairs during my trip which caused unexpected delays and stress. U-HAUL customer service provided an additional day to me to compensate. 1.Air conditioning required repairs during trip causing huge delays. 2. Fuse for phone charger also needed to be replaced by another U-Haul operator causing another delay. 3. During the transaction all the requested insurance was not provided ,for the auto transport trailer. Therefore when the trailer required a tow truck,I paid out of pocket. The U-HAUL shop owner in good faith decided to reimburse me due to her error with the insurance coverage, but did not reimburse me!!

FELIX CI had an issue with the 24 seven access. I had to sit outside from midnight till five in the morning to get in. I wasn’t aware that I didn’t have 24 seven access. I asked several times that I could come in at any time and they said yes so I ended up having to unload all my stuff and sit there with it outside and then I had to bring it all in by myself was not the plan. It’s pretty upset about that anyway it’s all in there now so

betty b | First ImpressionsThe manager at this pick up location was a "smart ass," being defensive, and claiming that I was berating her, when I was merely complaining about things (issues) that continue to happen when I am checking out equipment, that simply should not be happening, at least according to what I was told by U-Haul corporate. For instance their system states that they need to ask me if I want "Safe Move," when I have NO choice. So, WHY ASK?!?! When I say this to them, they just say that the system tells them to ask me. So, I said, then you should change the system, and they get all upset, essentially losing control, and complained to me about wanting to keep their job and do the right thing and essentially just telling me to deal with it!! NOBODY SHOULD BE A VICTIM OF A SYSTEM. Human beings can modify a system if we need to. I just want things to improve, or for U-Haul employees to show that there is effort in trying to make improvements, and to communicate clearly what is expected of me. While this manager and I simply do not get along, when I would like to use that facility for most of my needs in the future, life would be easier for both of us if U-Haul's systems and the words that come out of employee's mouth are accurate and consistent. There seems to always be issues with some part of the systems being used at the facilities for checking out equipment, which is not the fault of employees, but then causes problems, and even tension, between the U-Haul employees and the customer (myself), because of the lack of management by U-Haul as an organization. Most of what I am being told by U-Haul employees, or what has been done by the U-Haul organization do not add up, and it is exhausting having a corporate account, when I would think having a corporate account would make checking out equipment more seamless. I am just tired of telling U-Haul corporate or the U-Haul facility employees the same thing over, and over, and over, again!!! I am not saying things for no reason. There IS a reason for my statements, questions, and complaints. I'm tired of trying to change my information, phone, email, address, etc. when it should have been changed months ago, and tired of getting 5 emails for just 1 single rental! I don't need multiple receipts, I don't need multiple emails for sending feedback, etc. etc. For the love of God, get your stuff together!!! The ONLY reason I did not give this a Poor rating is because I finally have a good location (near my storage) to rent equipment from. Unfortunately, the manager of this location is much to be desired.

LAUREN SPicked up vehicle with 1/4 tank of gas, returned vehicle with 1/4 tank of gas, then charged $30.00 for fuel and $25.50 for 6 gallons of gas. I have proof that I purchased 3.249 gallons of gas before I returned the vehicle which was 37 miles driven.
