I was charged $77.00 for fuel when I returned the truck with a full tank of gas. I tried calling the store today but no one answered the call. I'm not impressed and will NEVER do business at this location again. Also, the mood of the representative when I pick up the rental was not nice at all. Be clear on return time. Your agent was not clear on return time when I specifically inquired about it while I was picking up the vehicle. I received a general answer of â€œreturn the vehicle around the same time, 9:30, 10â€ The agent made it seem like there was not a specific drop off time and did not mention another day's charge of the vehicle is dropped off after x time. So here I was under the impression I was doing right and returned the vehicle at 12. To my surprise upon return to being informed I was being charged another full day rental. That agent did not listen to my situation at all and was not helpful in resolving the conflict. You guys don't care about service, it's just a cash grab. You need agents that are firm in what they say to your customers and not have a nonchalant approach especially if your customers are likely to receive additional charges if not abiding by policy. Your agent need to be clear on that policy with customers when they rent. You guys rent vehicles by the HOUR so how do you justify charging me another FULL day?! I was very happy with the service till I realised the fuel overcharge. The truck was driven 22 miles/35 kms and I filled in 3.8 litres of gas but the bill mentions 11litres were filled with you.(I have the payment records) The gas meter was just above half tank when I took the truck and I left it the same way. 1.The agreement while leasing shows gas was much more than half and while returning it was half which us not true. 2.Does it take 11 litres if gas at a premium rate to drive 35 kms of the truck. I am not wasting time to get free money but I am reviewing to claim what's true and right.ADICYA W.

The staff do not look interested in helping customers. When I asked about after hours return procedure. The explanation was very vague and he just did not seem interested in helping. Clear and upfront information on the return process. As I was just asked by the attendant to leave the original paperwork, and they would look at it later. No further info was given. Needless to say that I needed to provide a physical invoice to my employer for the rental. Only upon my returning to the said attendant a second time, did they let me know that the invoice would come via an email. I would like to point out that 4'x7' trailer is actually not the size of the bed (loading area) and I couldn't fit a skid / pallet on it. Smallest point on rented trailer was 39" wide. Overall great experience and i will definitely go back to this location as we have another move this upcoming weekend. Actually, there is one issue I had: I was pulled over by the police and the cop said there have been a number of uHaul trucks stolen! When I dropped off the truck in the morning, I mentioned this to the rep and she explained the truck I had was actually stolen for a period of time. Recommendation: Customers should be told either not to drive late at night or made aware that the police may stop them, as a heads up. It was very annoying.samuel S.

I used the link to do the advance check in but still had to go through same process on pickup, so that was a bit frustrating. It wasn't clear I the app where to initiate the pickup on the day of, I ended up finding it on one of the menus, but that should be a big button right on login if date matches a reservation. Honestly I can't say anything negative about the customer service I was provided. The gentleman who served me was top notch from pick up to drop off. The store front was clean and organized. The only suggestion I would make would to have more pick up trucks in the fleet as they are super popular. I settled for a cargo van but would have preferred a pick up as I find them easier to manoeuvre considering my own personal vehicle is small. After more than 15 min waiting went to the front desk and employer only ask if was rent with credicard On that case just leave the car on the area and leave. Unfortunately we rented a truck a few weeks ago from this location. The date we needed to RETURN the truck was not recorded correctly by the attendant. I did not notice . Very very very bad on the Sunday of the rental. Got a crazy phone call to return the truck within 2 hrs. It was still fully loaded with our furnishings. We thiughtnitcwascrentednunyilbthe next day. The truck's transmission was about to fail. Wound up in first gear trying to merge and accelerate - very dangerous. You could smell the engine burning out. We notified the office and they were not surprised. Truck hit 100,000 miles when we were driving. The door barely shut and rattled horribly. The truck was incredibly loud, sucked up more than expected amount of gas and caused my husband's tinnitus to worsen. One week later his ears are not better.Annette G.

I have one complaint regarding the communications between the uhaul storage facility i have my belongings at and the head office in the US. There is a very obvious lag in communication between what is actually happening here and the late notices received weeks later. I have a credit card on file when I first arranged storage. I was not advised that auto payment was an option, I assumed that it would be the payment for monthly service. The person who set me up did not say anything. I then received a late notice and contacted the facility, the charge was removed. I was placed on auto payment, to my knowledge. I think received another late notice. I called again. My emergency contact also received a late notice and then I was frustrated. I called again and the person I spoke with did not listen to anything I said. She spoke over me, blaming the computer and basically blaming me for changing units. All of this in a matter of 2 months. Four notices in 2 months for no reason. My credit card was there the whole time and somehow she wanted to blame me. I went in yesterday to change the unit to a smaller one and the girl there was fabulous. I asked her to ensure that the autopayment was set up. She confirmed and was helpful. It's obvious to me that the US head office is not in the same time.zone and not on top of what is happening in reality. This represents poor customer service and ultimately cause unnecessary conflict here. I don't blame the staff here, but rather then place blame on the customer in this situation, the head office should provide a follow call to apologize for the time issues then place that on the staff here. I rented a UHaul van from this location and was very pleased with the van rental process. Everything about the van rental process here was great! It was convenient to store my things at the same location that I had to return the van. Staff at this location were friendly and provided excellent customer service. I appreciated them walking me through the access protocol, particularly since their shift was ending. Also, I felt confident about the security measures at this location. My one concern though was that there was a poision trap box for rodents, right in my unit. There was a label on the trap box saying advising not to touch it due to poision. I understand that all storage facilities, regardless of how fancy they look, must put rodent/pest control measures in place and I appreciate that the facility addressing the issue of pest control. However, I was concerned about the posion from the trap coming into contact with my belongings. I also was concerned that the trap might lure rodents into my unit, and that on the way they might nibble on my belongings. I arrived shortly before closing and was concern ed nobody would be able to help me. The gentleman (name i cannot recall) was exceptional. He was unhurried, really took his time to answer all my questions and provided a great deal of help. My original storage space was too small, and the storage space I ended up using is too large but he did provide help and information in a proper size unit (unfortunately that size is not available at this location). He explained everything to me and again was exceptional with his attention and help he provided. Thank you to him. I wasn’t too impressed with the last couple of months with uhaul. I had this locker for almost three year and it was always an issue trying to get in to access my locker and then when finally inside there always happens to be an extra lock on my locker! Usually it’s because of not receiving payment which I make sure it was on an auto renew, or this new one stating that you need a disk lock to be put onto your locker. The last Friday of October I got a driver and a truck to be able to empty my storage by the tie I got to my storage there was an extra lock I couldn’t take off and the uhaul staff just went home for the day. So I had to wait until I could go in in person after calling three times explaining the situation which no one cared for pay for any other driver just to get them to finally take this lock off. Was the worst hassle I had to go through and the worst part was is that the lock I had I bought at the uhaul store which they are still selling so what was the point so restraining me and costing me more money for no reason when it was a uhaul lock. My experience in the store was very good. Both your workers were very kind and helpful. There are just two items of concern for me. When I got the truck rental I called in and asked if I could get the free storage promotion that was advertised. The operator said I could and reviewed both the truck and storage reservation and confirmed this. However when I got to the store they advised since I am not dropping off the truck at the store I would not get my first month free. If I would have known this I would have asked to drop the truck off or go with access storage which gave me the same unit size for half the price. I will call in to customer service tomorrow but would love if you could assist me. As well it looks like my access code does not work so I had trouble actually accessing the unit. I haven't actually been able to get a a chance to fully move in my unit due to not having my password work for 24 hour access ( even though I have paid for this service for the extra ten dollars per month. The gentlemen signing me in was saying he didn't know much about the reasons why he was not successfully getting into the place under my account for registration reasons and that he would fix it in mornjg and email me the information... I haven't bothered going there since every time I am in the area or off work or free from Xmas errands-get together and my bad timing it's after the office is shut down.
