I didn't receive any of the dolly's I paid for via online. I didn't receive the wrapping tape I paid for online. The online order gave me a different pickup address for the uhaul rental, so it put me 15 minutes behind schedule to go to the correct place. Then the front desk person handed me the keys but didn't show me where the truck I was renting was parked - and this location has a huge lot with lots of rentals, so it put me another 10 minutes behind schedule to find the correct truck. I didn't get any extension on time for the rental for the hiccups I came across on the way to get it.SAMANTHA S.

The manager was unprofessional he gave my paperwork my key and everything else to someone that accompanied me not one time did he even speak to me and the storage manager is obviously a drug attic thief that kept putting a lock on my unit even though my storage was paid and the day I came to move out neither manager was there and we had to pay $150 for a locksmith to cut the lock off my unit because they never gave me a key very unprofessional A lot of my things were missing and it cost me money just to get my items stolen from me sentimental items that can never be replaced are gone my washer was stolen and a bunch of my daughters clothing and shoes I would never use this facility again probably not U-Haul. The first truck they gave me wasn't even on the lot and we spent 20 minutes looking for it. The second truck they gave me had many issues. Truck brakes need to be serviced. They make a loud terrible noise when you press them to turn the truck on. They BARELY worked to stop the truck so you had to drive slower than normal. The truck was empty when I got it so I had to immediately put gas in it.CREONA B.

I handled all transactions under my name and card and I placed the order for the truck. However, somehow all of my emails to my account were addressed to my father, who simply drove the car. I was also not addressed in person about billing until I said I was handling the payment. I understand that his license was on file for driving, but my name and my payment information was on file. I placed the order and paid, so I should be addressed about payment. I understand the in person interaction being originally addressed to me father as he was in the vehicle, but the emails to me about my payment not being addressed to me are frustrating. I only put his name down once for the license. I am the customer. Please do a better job when addressing your customers during email.SHAWN F.

Aretha in custodial services provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service. Very friendly and responsive. Extremely rare to find a person in the industry with such positive attitude. Young lady was soooo rude and unprofessional. Never hung up the phone when we walked in, the entire time she assisted us she was cursing someone out on the phone named Rodney for not bringing her breakfast. Got an attitude when I couldn't determine when she was talking to me or on the phone, (how should I know?) Threw us the keys and made us find our own truck, no inspection, nothing. This kind of customer service seems to be a pattern with uhaul. Gonna just a different company going forward. The person behind the counter laughed at me when I asked if I could check in with her. The first U-Haul I was given had a cargo door so rusted over I couldn't even close or open it, so I had to get a second truck. Terrible service and terrible products.KEGAN K.

The second key did NOT fit the rear padlock so I was unable to secure my belongings. Also, the truck leaked oil onto the driveway of the residence I was exiting, resulting in further charges from my landlord. Also, the passenger side lower mirror was missing (I made sure the attendant was aware before leaving premises upon rental)Jennifer B.

The truck I reserve was not even at this location was sent to another location just to wait another 2.5 hours just for them to not have the truck I reserved so I had to settle for a smaller one. So inconvenient!! not to mention I asked for a drop off location with a storage unit got to the drop off location of course there is no storage unit, called around to find some in my area and the closest was 20 miles away. I will never recommend U-haul to anyone. It's never a smooth transition!Amber L.

I have had an issue with overpayment for $50 tip for moving helpers from Room 2Room. Paid$50 tip in Cash at completion of job. Then charged$50 for another tip during the review part. My pick up was great when I went to drop the vehicle off I was told they were short staffed and no one was there to check my truck in the young lady told me she did not know where the yard guy was so there was no one to check me. Unlike the Google reviews the service was excellent, prompt and helpful. I asked to upgrade to a larger trailer and they were quick to verify it was available and upgrade me. Return was quick, easy and the gentleman in the yard unhooked and dropped it no problem, emailed receipt and on my way in minutes. Very very much recommend all in the office on Monday at rental be congratulated for great service. Very apologetic for helping another guy ahead of me who they'd been helping close out his storage. No explanation needed but they were very open with why he jumped me in line.JOHN B.

I would not recommend this facility to anybody. Because there Computer System is not working right and keeps overcharging me. As also keeps charging me for a lock, which I had not purchased from them....and nobody could get the mix up straight. So they still own me money....and when I moved out of there because of the unprofessional situation I still had to pay for that full month !!! I'm very frustrated with the way that happened and I still want my money back....I have been coming to that facility for 2 weeks now just about every day trying to find a solution to get my money back. Well, I rented my unit a week early and it was the last unit at the time. When I moved and got to what was supposed to be my unit, it was a lock on it that I didn't put there. The staff thought maybe they were the ones who put it on to preserve the integrity of my purchase, but come to find out they actually rented my unit to someone else. Imagine how unnerving that was with almost everything you own in the back of U-Haul that time was winding down on. Luckily there was a unit that had just been vacated and I was able to get it, but what if it wasn't one available? I'm supposed to talk to management about compensation and resolution... I was not initially aware of policy of no move in after hours so I had to extend my uhual reservations (with associated costs) to reschedule my move in of things into the storage unit. Prior to arriving that evening I tried to call the office to make sure I would be able to move in at that time but there was no answer on the phone after multiple attempts. I don't complain about much...BUT!!! I reserved a 'Climax Control Storage Unit. I was given a "RESERVATION NUMBER ON-LINE." I traveled from Boston to Georgia. When reached Uhaul Storage of Avondale I was told that the last climax control unit was given away that morning. Now that's DISTURBING with FALSE PRETENSE!!! My family was exhausted, tired and wanted to complete our temporary move. I have come to the conclusion that Uhaul "bets on that once the customer is there will take what's available.
