Charged me for furniture pads that I didn't use, truck was parked in a back row and I hard to find it then back it out past other trucks, I had to wait for the windows to defrost, truck was dirty inside and it only had a quarter tank. I told them to sweep it out but I still had to sweep it out when I got it home. I also git a light on the dashboard. Not sure what it was for but when I told them,they didn't seem to care. Make after-hours drop off returns easier! Was really hard to find the key drop box in the dark, it looked nothing like the description in the instructions, and the electronic prompt system was faulty. It kept prompting for information that wasn't actually needed for the drop off return.DREW W.

I wasn't impressed with the return process. i returned the truck during business hours and followed the instructions to stay with my equipment until someone came out. It was at least ten minutes of waiting around before I was finally helped. Maybe next time I'll try the automated return. I'm not one to normally complain but this was terrible. start to finish. The truck didn't run well at all barely started each time. When I returned it the guy just pissed at any question i had. Seem to be no covid procedures or preventions in place other than a sign asking customers to stay away from each other and plastic barriers for the workers. The running light didn't work on the auto transport. They had to send road side assistance to fix it. When they finally got the running lights working, we found out that the rear pass side running light and subsequent side marker light didn't work. Then I also noticed the left side license plate light was out as well. All in all it was a good experience. The vehicle pulled well and the auto transport followed behind very nicely. I just expect that all the lights will be maintained properly and working when renting like this. Especially in North Dakota in the winter when it gets dark so soon.JASEN K.
They stated the battery in the truck was shot and â€œthe battery stores were closedâ€ on a Sunday at 3:30. They didn't bother to tell me until I showed up, with moving help all lined up, that I wouldn't even have a truck available. Are you kidding? Go to Walmart and replace the battery. Or menards, or runnings, or interstate battery or any store that's open on Sunday afternoon. They lied to my face and the GM will not return phone calls and had a full voicemail. This delayed my moving by an entire day, costing hundreds of extra dollars due to missing timelines. The worst customer service experience in my 32 years of life.Dylan T.

The pickup I rented had a super strong cigarette smell and the cab was not clean. I returned it after hauling a couple loads of furniture to the landfill....with the windows open so I could breathe. The online process is very easy and I appreciated it. Maybe the only improvement could be the possibility to choose which unit among those available? Because I have now 2 units, one on the 2nd and one one the basement floors. The human factor is less than ideal. There was no lock in either room, although the emails from the online booking specified it, and I had to purchase those. Every time I had a problem ( and I had many related to the in person renting process, as well as with the online ) the wait on the phone call for customer service was more than 1/2 hr and the person could not solve my problem ( the first time she could not even understand it). I received a damaged truck upon pickup. It was dark when I arrived at the Uhaul location. Got the truck home and noticed that the right side of the truck was damaged. I tried to call, was put on hold forever, as usual, without an answer. I was told that the general manager would be in contact with me. He is yet to do so. When I picked up the trailer in Bismarck, ND the tire needed changed. It had a 2 inch gash on the side. I had to wait and it put our day off a bit. My son works at Northwest Tires and was able to change it I feel like I should have gotten my $70 back because my son changed the tire and Not uhaul. The drop off in Florida was excellent. Next time when booking a truck, tell me up front that you dont have what i want to rent instead of waiting for your regional manager to call me two days before and tell me you dont have the full size truck that i ordered and i have to down size. Kyle Wright sucks at managing this place. He had charged me for a late fee of $15, twice before the 6th day of the month. It clearly states $15 after the first and $15 again after the 15th day of the month late rent. So I had to pay extra just to get into my storage, and when I went in to get a bag out of my storage he stated he was going to call the cops because I wasnt allowed to go into my own things/storage without paying first which I told him I had paid that day and to go head and call who ever because I had proof I paid online. And then I finally closed me storage with them last month and now almost 2 weeks later he has charged me a " $25 cleaning fee" on my card which was only removing a 2 queen size mattresses. When I was closing out my account I had told the young man who closed my account for me they were in there and I couldnt get them out by myself because I am 8 and a half almost 9 months pregnant now and he said he would take care of that for me. Now to see Kyle is charging me $25 for that is ridiculous. This storage is way over priced and the manager, Kyle, is not fit to be running businesses where he can just rip people off like that and feels like he can do as he pleases with others money. Especially during this pandemic. He is a awful and I hope he gets replaced or demoted overall.
