Site was the best U-Hual site I've ever been to. Site was clean and very organized as well as Staff was super nice and friendly. I rented a open trailer and it was regretful when the trailer was covered and dirt and snow. Ensuring your rental equipment is ready to be used would've just sent me over the top. The staff we encountered were friendly but we didn't like how we weren't given the first month free offer upon arrival after a one way from MA. Especially since we had to use 2 U-Haul storage locations since they didn't have any large enough sizes available. Also, we picked a unit based on what was recommended on a call and it turned out to be nowhere near the size needed to properly store our items which left us with the need for 2 units. Due to extreme limited availability with U-Haul storage locations, our units were 40min apart, driving which reeked havoc on the mileage we just used on our most recent U-Haul truck rental yesterday. The staff we encounter at every U-Haul we've worked with have always been exceptional which is why we still always choose U-Haul but the amount of money we just spent with you guys on our recent moves from MA to NJ to DE was obscene and we just feel like it didn't need to be that much. My only issue with this service is that upon return of the Uhaul vehicle, I was told that out of my $100 deposit and $15 charge that even though I was 1 mile under my 30 requested mile total, and was 7 minutes early That I am going to recieve $29 back from my rental. I am waiting to see if indeed I do only get $29 back. This is not right and I will be in touch if so. But other than that the experience was good. There weren't enough wall mounts to tie anything down. The box was in such bad condition that it was about to fall apart before it arrived. The left bittem pcorner had speciation which made the door not shut right. We had to force that corner together to get a lock on it. And when it arrived the other side was about to fall apart. No idea if I lost anything small. I have pictures which will be submitted to uhaul shortly. Or management needs to contact me asap. 609-617-4888Timothy H.

The place is clean but the storage spaces are extremely small. I ended up having to rent 2 garages. And they up charge by requiring you to buy their locks for $12 each. I would only recommend for storing very small items or boxes.Faith U. | First Impressions

Everything was good until I put gas in the tank. The truck took 8 gallons of gas for a 48 mile round trip and the truck was only three quarters full. It sounded like the motor had a miss. Like a spark plug or a bad spark plug wire. Either way. 6 mls to the gallon is not except able. But the employees were Very nice.John S.

The customer service was AMAZING! I came in and saw a line and got discouraged that it would take a while. They were so fast and efficient that I was helped in no time! They were SO nice too! 1- Have better communication with the customer when something changes. I was literally called and told the location of my van pick up was changed to Bridgeton AFTER I had just pulled in to the the original Vineland location. And my reservation was literally confirmed the day before that it would be in Vineland. Then, the person who called me was quite abrasive in letting me know about the switch. She said â€œyou know your pickup is n Bridgeton, right?â€ In a very sarcastic tone. Completely unprofessional. 2- While the truck was in good working condition, it wreaked of a strong urine scent. The staff in Bridgeton was helpful. We received no notification though the box arrived at its destination. Also no one advised an appointment n was needed to access the box and person was rude to my daughter when went to get in because has no appointment. Afterward in getting box it went much smoother. Your website needs work however. I kept trying to do thing online it told me I could do bit it would not let me so I would have to call and spend 20+ minutes on hold to speak to an agent.Marikay G.

I feel on the website to make a reservation, you should be more specific as too what the customer is actually going to have to pay. I was not aware of all the taxes and BS I was going to have to pay after the fact. Online it said 39.95 then the insurance was 14.00 then the regular taxes. Then when I returned the truck I barely used ANY of the gas when I got the truck it was at a half tank then when I brought it back I'm told it was way less which is again BS. So my total went from 50-60 bucks to when i got there to pick up the truck 92 and some change, then by the next day your company took another 104.25 out of my account without my knowledge which is not okay! SO ALL TOGETHER I PAID ALMOST 200 BUCKS FOR A DAMN UAHUL THAT on line didn't state all the extra bullshit your company charged me for. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NEVER USE YOUR COMPANY AGAIN CAUSE YOU GOT ME FOR MONEY I HAD NO RECALATION OF . I knew what it said online of what I would have to pay when I came to pick up the truck that's why i decided to use a UHAUL TRUCK!Eva C.

Was moved from a place close to Wildwood to pick-up truck to a place 47 miles away in Bridgeton NJ. I was granted extra mileage, but had to give up half of the last day of vacation with my grandkids to pick up equipment. Not this location's problem. Why was my reservation not honored at the Railroad Ave in Rio Grande location?JAMES H.

Only reason I even gave this 3 stars was because of the staff we spoke with. They were trying to be as helpful as possible in a disaster of a situation. Other than that, this was probably the worst experience we have ever dealt with. I will never use this service again and would never recommend anyone to. I signed a contract weeks ahead of time to pick up the truck at 1030am. I was on a tight schedule, paying people waiting in south jersey to load up the truck. I did get a truck, and was over 2 hours behind schedule! I had to pay the people waiting extra! Why sign a contract if you can't deliver the promised time?Kellie S.

I am extremely happy with Bridgeton U-Haul and Storage. Terri assisted me in the morning and was incredible! The building is the cleanest storage place I've ever seen. We also rented a 26 foot truck and we're happy with it. I will never go to another storage or truck rental place again.Brett C.

Very dissatisfied with the U-Haul reservation. When I booked the trailer, I chose Glassboro, NJ since it was the only location to guarantee the trailer size. When I arrived in Glassboro after a 1 hour trip, I was tole the store location was changed to Bridgeton, NJ a 35 minute trip away. When I arrived in Bridgeton, I was told "national" changed the location, I did recieve a call the night before the reservation and was asked if I knew where U-Haul was located. I assumed they meant Glassboro so I did not not need directions. This location change added 60 miles and 1.5 hours to the move. I was not happy!!! P.S. the staff at both locations were fine, it was only the snafu with U-Haul changing locations that was unacceptable.Fred C.
