The facility is climate controlled. You back your vehicle into a secure 2 bay area and use a keycard to open the doors to the facility. Once inside you find carts for your use, as well as security beyond what you would expect. If someone tries to open your unit without first scanning your keycard to gain entry an alarm sounds and security is alerted. UHaul seems to have this storage thing covered!

Make sure that there trucks don't have ice all over them. This caused a stress crack in the windshield and I'm prob going to have to pay for it.

I hate to write bad reviews, but I feel compelled to express my concerns about this visit. First off no one was visibly in a UHAUL uniform other than being behind the counter I wasn't sure who worked at this location no logo hat, no logo shirt or coat, and no visible name tags. Although I didn't have a reservation there were clearly plenty of trailers that I wanted to rent. No one spoke to me while I waited for service, I had to approach the employee at the counter to then be told he would be right with me. In the middle of our transaction the employee abruptly left without a word to me (I can only assume it was to get the equipment I'd number). I was handed several pieces of paper that were lose no staple or contract holder and told to follow him in the golf cart. I then had to instruct the employee to cross the safety chains when hooking up the trailer for safety. I also had to ask if the green sticker were in place of the usual X stickers for damage or should we not damage on contact, he never answered just shrugged it off. I said well this trailer is well used and I wouldn't expect any issues with more damage. Upon returning there were no clear return lanes just the same four trucks in front of a stop sign from when I rented some five hours before and 5 trucks pulled parallel to the door so no one could have a clear view of the front door I assume that's why the employees sitting behind the counter didn't approach me as the sign instructed I wait with the equipment. After waiting twenty some minutes I did a self return on my phone and left the trailer in the the drive lane to show some displeasure with the lack of customer focus and lack of concern from the employees at this location. If I need equipment I will try a neighborhood dealer or drive to the Johnson City center where I have received quality service before.

The back of the truck was not cleaned and was full of cockroaches. I had to do a emergency swap with the Kingsport location. I was paying 3 people $25.00 a hour ro assst me in moving my things. I lost over a hour in the moving process and had to pay the people to just stand around until I went and did the exchange. I was very upset! I will never use this company again.

We reserved our truck and appliance dolly in advance, but when we went to pick it up nothing was ready and they didn't even have an appliance dolly in the store. The two girls in the shop had no idea where the keys to the trucks were. After 2 hours in the store they finally let us know that there was an appliance dolly at another store 30 minutes out of our way and that we had to go get it if we wanted it. Do not allow in advance reservations if your store is not capable of preparing or even stocking for orders.

The windows inside was in bad shape dirty can't see need to be cleaned. The Seat needs be longer it hard on tall person I am 6' tall .. Yes need to be power windows , power mirrors it's hard to just a Mirrors if you're by yourself . The lady wait on me and my wife was great person I think her name was Mandy she was awesome

Provide better customer service..keep facilities and equipment in better shape..make pricing more reasonable..i shouldn't have to pay more for 24 hour access to be able to get to my own stuff..i was a customer for 2 years but moved to the new storage facility next door to this location in Bristol, Tn..i was paying 114.95 for a 10×10 and now I'm paying 84.95 with free 24 hr access..

When a person makes a reservation be sure the equipment is ready. I had a reservation and the wheel was bad. Sent to Kingsport the tongue was bent luckily Norton had one. I had to drive a hundred and twenty miles to get a trailer I had reservation for in Bristol. The thing it was almost closing time on Sunday. Better luck next time.

They processed a charge for extra time to my card and never told me there was going to be a charge. Scum bag rip off technique for what appears to be 2 hr time difference based on receipt. Again, never told me there would be a charge and all this after uhaul gave me a rebate to drive it to bristol instead of my preferred drop off location in Abingdon. Really lame a sneaky way to rip people off.

Location was changed on my pickup but I was not notified. We arrived at the original location only to find out something had been altered with our order. I didn't receive a phone call about it or an email. I actually got an email the evening before confirming the original location and guarantee for 7:30am. This put me behind at least 2 hours on moving day because I had to leave Blountille and go to Bristol for the truck, then back to the house. Very inconvenient.

As far as I'm concerned, anytime a customer needs a Uhaul it's a stressful day. Stacy went above and beyond to make my experience easier and ultimately a better day all around. She was diligent and solved my issues after two other employees sent me down the road to fix. Because of her, I will continue to rent here anytime I need anything all because of her. AWESOME customer service! Y'all better hang on to this employee.

Don't charge a customer for an appliance dolly then not give them one. A regular dolly was in the truck, but again, couldn't be used due to the wing but being so rusted. So be more customer service conscious and don't charge for a appliance dolly. Still got charged with one on my final bill still after not receiving one.

The truck ran awful, we had to end up parking it less than 2 miles from where we loaded it. The customer service reps didn't seem to really care and apparently neither does the company as i filled out a contact form and have not heard anything back from them either. Next time i have to move ANYTHING i will pay more and go with someone else.....DO NOT RENT FROM UHAUL!!!

The truck was clean, however it drove terrible. The check in process to pick up the rental(done by mobile) took 30 minutes, and I was still required to return the rental at the same time cutting my total time using the rental. The staff at the store was very friendly. Would not recommend using the online pickup service, it's too long and the rep that handled the pickup was not friendly. Would recommend seeing someone inside your local store for any rental needs.
