Denise at the counter was not only unhelpful, she was rude, snippy, not wearing her mask correctly (under her nose). Not only was she rude to me, I watched her provide subpar customer service to others as well which left us about 45 minutes behind schedule. There was no one to help us get the truck--despite three employees standing around, quite literally leaning on a railing and just chatting as we tried to figure out which truck was ours, where the dollies were, why there wasn't a padlock on our truck like the last time we rented, etc. We've used this location several times and this was the WORST service we've received--absolutely dismal.PETER L.
I paid for a roll of tape that I didn't receive. Had issues with the process of inspecting the vehicle become outside by the van, the internet connection was not good. Even using the U-Haul internet I had to go through the process several times and it was frustrating and time consuming.Stephanie F.

I had reservations at 9 am. The weather was so cold . I wait outside and a guy show up at 9:06 am. He asked me an alternative number. I gave him my friend's number. He tried to call him. It was new year. People usually are sleeping on that time. I politely asked the guy why do he wants to call him? He might sleep on this time, I said. The guy was so rude. With any explanation he retuned my id and credit card. My mover were waiting outside. I got stress. I had to get truck. I called my friend. He was sleeping. My guess was correct. He scared why I called him morning in new year. The guy accepted my card and gave me a super dirty truck. Even if I die I won't go this branch anymore. Negative customer service.Ali B.

One employee told me I had an hour extra to return the equipment which was gracious but when I returned the trailer another employee detailed to me that 1-2 hours isn't a big deal. I rented bins for moving and everything was a breeze! I was able to reserve them online and go to the location for pickup. The employees helped me carry and load the bins into my vehicle. When I returned the bins, they let me borrow a cart to put them on so I didn't have to do any heavy lifting. Quick, easy, and efficient. Highly recommend them!Sandhya G.

When we picked up our rental George helped us. He was very attentive, professional and answered all of our questions. Unfortunately, we locked the keys in the U-Haul and George called to let us know the next steps. He maintained his professionalism and although we paid Lockout fee I still had a great experience. First truck was completely empty of gas and the back door had a look on it so 8t could not be opened. The red empty light gauge turned on about a mile after I left. I pulled into gas station and saw lock on gate. In a weird way the empty tank lessens the loss of time and headache to me. HOWEVER, when I returned the replacement truck the charged me for 4 gallons of gas and a $30 service claiming tank was 1/8 filled. The pictures I sent prove tank was 1/4 filled. Since I only drove 12 miles round trip and put 2 gallons of gas in - FRAUD and LIES to charge the $30 fee and bill for extra gas is the only explanation. CROOKS and LIARSWilliam M.

I followed the website instruction to try picking up my truck after online reservation. Yet the personnel at store told me the truck wasn't available, after having me waited for 40min, they finally figured out it was a mistake and gave me the key to my truck. The funny thing was that they wasted my 40 min of reserved time and when I returned the truck 10 min late I still got fined. You should train your employees better to understand that customers may not understand what's the different between mobile pickup, online reservation and no contact pick up. I chose for no contact pick up but still got directed by the website to go intro the store to try to get the key, which ended up delayed my move and forced me to stay inside your store for over 40 min.TYLER W.

Moving is incredibly stressful. I arrived near closing. Keyon was patience, professional, proficient and compassionate. As he explained your rules & regulations in a welcoming demeanor. This tactic ensured my compliance. Mr. Keyon worked with another young gentleman (outside) who was equally respectful, proficient & professional. These 2 gentlemen truly understand 'Teamwork'. Customers gave me a truck immediately I start the truck but the truck didn't start I call the staff and told him was laughing at me he try to start it himself again thre truck didn't start. He again me another truck. When I got hom trying to be loading my stuff's the truck went off again for like 32min I was calling them to tell them about the truck no body pick only one guy pick up the phone and said am sorry call uhaul. I was seriously mad. I took the truck in 26 k st NE Washington and I lives in bladensburg Maryland its was one mechanic that help me that day alone the street. And I paid him $70 we spent like another 26mi be he can get it done for me. So since the truck started I didn't off the engine until I returned back to them. Guess what the people change me $114 I ask them what they could said is call uhaul. Please anybody who wanna get a truck dont ever go to 26 k st Ne DC please. Because this is frustrating.Stephen O.
Uhaul's computer software wasn't working properly. Fortunately, the employees at this location were very smart and able to adapt and help customers receive their trucks. When we opened the unit, all of our items were covered with a film of white dust. Something must have fallen from Above. It took A lot of work to clean off our stuff.
