It should not take 25 minutes to pickup a reservation. We were the first people there 10 minutes before the place opened. We requested to do it all with our phone. It was 25 minutes after opening before we could finally leave.Victor P.

The truck was not cleaned inside or out before I picked it up and I put more gas in the tank the 1/4 because I didn't want to get charged for gas for my 6 miles, but U-Haul still charged me for gas as they stated it wasn't at 1/4. It was in the pictures that I took when I checked the truck back in. That's just bad business to do that to someone. It's wrong.Mercadez B.
Initially pulled up wrong contract- my truck came from AZ not a local truck- in Cathedral City- CA- so a hiccup- as he was claiming I had a hand cart- apparently numbers were same but one had a T and one had an RGary C.
The guy who helped me hook up the trailer was absolutely great, huge asset for your company. He also helped me when I bra ugh to back the auto transporter.Mark H.
Staff gave me the impression they could not have cared less that I was there to pick up a trailer. Upon returning the trailer, I waited in the drop off area then went inside to be told just drop and go. I recommend only because it is the only "full service" UHaul location in my area.John W.

You need more people. The representative at the desk was great, but for a Saturday morning, he was overwhelmed and needed help. I would also suggest a separate line for those who checked in online - the people in front of me did not and I ended up waiting 20 minutes anyway, so what is the point of entering all my information ahead of time when I have to wait anyway?Robert H.

The online to make you check in fast is no good I reserved a truck on line gave all my information next day went to pick up the truck and had to do it again and then had to wait in line a hour and 15min before I receive my truck very bad set up not working.Kurt R.

Very happy with the reasonable rate. In the storage unit area, there were many rental trailers and trucks stored in the driveways between the buildings, which made it a little tricky to maneuver through with a truck pulling a trailer.Michela S. | First Impressions

Desk clerk was horrible and rude. Outside guy was great. Victor too, was great. (From your Perez Ave. location) Most unfortunate was that no one wore a mask inside or out. This made us very uncomfortable and almost caused us to go elsewhere.TOM D.
-No Masks on anyone working there. Bummer. -Truck interior was extremely dirty (are they ever really cleaned?), cargo area was fine. Again, no mask on the person who had to retrieve my truck, then I get to sit in the same space just 10 seconds later. Not cool. Uhaul needs to take Covid a bit more seriously and try to protect customers and employees. -Kind of strange customer service by the people working there. Not really that attentive when someone arrives, or stands at the counter. For both the pick up and drop off, I had to go find someone and even then, they seemed like they didn't want to be there, couldn't be bothered sort of vibe. I know times are tough right now, but it really was a rather lackluster customer service experience. Just a friendly heads up :) Other than thatâ€¦ thanks!Christopher C.

guy behind the counter pointed me to the yard to find Joe or Bob to help line up which trailer was going to be mine for the rental. It wasn't a great handoff since neither Joe or Bob (probably not the right names) were anywhere to be found...likely busy with other customers. When the guy behind the counter came out with another customer he said he'd line it up for me and attached to my car. He took ownership and you're lucky to have him. Nicely done.Mark B.

First off have employees wear a mask during a pandemic , it's a state mandate. No employees are masked. I picked up truck Saturday at 3:30 and returned Sunday at 2:00. Meanwhile I received a call from the office in a panic looking for an employees keys and would I check the truck which I did. I didn't find them, but did fin old French fries and ketchup. After hanging up I did come across them and tried to call back but it went to the call center. I asked her to contact the local office to,tell them I had the keys. She said she could only message the office. 2 hours later I stopped my move and tried calling again and the second agent repeated she couldn't call the local office. Stupid policy. So I jumped in my car and rove to the office to drop off the keys. The ee was so grateful and said even if I don't get the car back until after 3:30 he would only charge me for 1 day. I did, however return the car ahead of the 24 he. Limit. When I checked in that ee wasn't there and the one who checked me in not only charged me for 2 days but also for two gallons of gas for 20 miles. I had out in 1 gallon thinking it was enough. Plus remember I drove my own car , my own gas , back to drop off the keys for the ee. So, for trying to do the right thing, I not only lost 1 hour of moving time, but gas money in my car and ended up with an overcharge upon check in. I didn't notice this as he said we will just send the receipt to your email. I assumed after sharing the story I would get the right receipt. Total rip off. And BTW, MASK UP for public safety.Eric D.

This is the second time in 6 months I used U-Haul and each time was perfection. Your staff is competent, helpful and caring. No surprises. This time I needed help in Cathedral City to help me unload. This was not planned initially but your staff got me two capable young men within 20 minutes of my request for the following morning. I rented a pickup truck for 24 hrs. After 6 hrs into my move, the UHaul attendant calls me and asks why I am not back with the truck. I questioned why he was asking. He said I only had it reserved for a 4 hr term. Thinking the next renter is tapping his toes waiting, and me trying to be respectful of the next renter, I immediately returned the truck. As I was closing out the paperwork with the general manager of the location, he asked why I was back so early. I told him about the phone call. He shrugged it off as a "new employee in training" and completed my paperwork at the 24 hr fee. $160 for 6 hrs is kinda steep...And I still have one more load of recycle to still take care of. I rented a van and when I opened the side slider door there was broken glass everywhere and it spilled onto my driveway. This was very disappointing and I spent 30 minutes cleaning it all up. I waited in line for over an hour then had to come back because the business cell phones weren't working to load our information. Then the next morning we waited another hour and a half because the system was down again. Then the truck engine light came on and over heated on us. We are women. We were so scared. You can tell they do not care about their facility nor their trucks. It was a mess and then they tried to charge me for extra miles and gas when they should have gave us a credit for poor service and a poor truck.Tammi W.
