This is the third time this week that I have rented a truck at this location. And for the first time, "Joshua" insisted that I had to have a cell phone in order to rent a truck so that he could "verify the number." I do NOT own a cell phone. I have rented from this location MANY times over the past 10 years and have never and have never once been required to go through a process of phone number verification. When I pointed out that fact, "Joshua" became very brusque and less than courteous. I will not rent from this location again.

You can kept your people informed of the size on the equipment you have. I spent a good amount of time trying to get a car transport for a 49 Hudson. They were to call me and never did, if you had a car transport to fit my car. I had to go in person to fine out that you didn't have the car transport.

This has been the worst service i have ever received from any company. Because of uhaul i am loosing everything i own and UHaul has done nothing to rectify the situation. Uhaul neglected to release a hold they placed on my account which caused my montly storage fee to be denied. I made 12 calls and went down to uhaul 3 times to try and get the hold released and it still took 6 weeks to get it released causing me to a crew late fees that i am unable to pay. You would think UHaul would offer me a refund which would enable me to pay for the late fees so i dont loose everything i own but instead they have done nothing. This is why are court systems are so backed up. I mean really what did i ever do to uhaul. And did i mention they couldnt even find my contract in there system because there employee had used a wrong last name and a wrong phone number. Unbelievable

Your service originally directed me to a town in the mountains 60 miles away in order to pick up the truck I needed. I found the same truck 15 miles away by myself. My Take: Don't rely on Uhaul to provide you with the best information.

UHaul Cathedral City staff did not follow their own standard operating procedures for a return of piece of equipment. I returned a tow dolly and paid for its removal (this should be included in the cost of the rental in my opinion for safety reasons). Despite my associated receipt and manager Joshua telling me I was all set, I continued to get repeated phone calls from multiple UHaul staff asking me to return the tow dolly for WEEKS after it was returned. I had a receipt to document the return and the site has cameras to confirm. Follow your own standard operating procedures and when you don't do so, don't harass the customer.

My experience with this U-Haul dealer was perfect. I rented a 26 foot truck for a day then a smaller van for 2 days. The vehicles were clean and had gas in them. The check in and return process was quick and easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. They are the best! Thank you.
