The owner was great !! Discussed the gas siutaio qith him that I was only driving 2 miles he said do t worry about gas. Took it back the ohtdoor check in guy was rude and ended up charging 9.00 for gas !!! I was too tired to argue. Will write Yelp review tommorrow EBG

ADD more employee's !!! Returned another trailer today. Waited 22 minutes outside (along with 3 other returning customers all starring at each other is dismay) and not a single employee was around to assist any of us. Went inside, spoke with Rudy (who is always helpful and polite) about this ongoing unacceptable situation I (and others ) experience on a very routine basis. Rudy states he clearly understands (and acknowledges the ongoing situation), but employee budgets do not allow him to get more help. As previously stated in my last survey 2 days, in this town, for many of us, our local U-haul is second or third choice (when no one else has the truck). Helloooooo Corporate. Wake UP! U-haul, is self imploding by design! .

I put in the exact amount of gas the chart said to - to bring the gas to what it was when I got the truck & then when I got my email for my final bill - I was charged $18 for gas - I'm overcharged & am very unhappy about this situation

Entirely too long to check out the vehicle, and even worse checking back in. Lots of staff around, but online one seemed actually to be working. The rest were clustered inside an office in the back.

You need to have more staff working the counter. Every time I come there, it's ALWAYS a very long wait. As such, when I can, I choose other rental companies to meet my needs.

The yard crew was excellent. Unfortunately the place is understaffed and they had no one at all on the front desk. The cleaning person said some one would be with us soon. After waiting 10 minutes we had to go into the yard and flag someone down. Meantime the boss or supervisor and another person were chatting away in the back room with no interest in the front desk.

Sunday morning. 8:30AM. A long line of people waiting to get in at 9AM. The doors finally open and.. one person on the counter. REALLY??? It was a half hour wait to get to the front of the line. The counter person was fine but you were understaffed. You must know that there is a line at opening on weekends. You simply chose to ignore this fact and let your level of service fall off. Typical of U.S. companies in today's world.

The original reservation was for a pick-up at Devon storageon Gene Autry in Palm Springs. When we got there Saturday morning. Devon was closed,contrary to hours posted on the door. This caused a 2 hour delay while we searched competitors and finally go a new reservation through UHAUL. Since we had people waiting for us in Los Angeles, this screwed up our day big time. At the very least, I would like an apology.

Walk around truck to make sure you know what you are doing etc. Couple minutes would do... Sort of like Enterprise and their cars... Nice touch, making sure you can drive it, where all the stuff is etc. It wouldn't take long to insure that as a customer you are prepared...

I was told there would be $100 cash deposit for a 26 foot long truck. When I got there with my reservation confirmation I was told that I needed 120. Pete said he would take 110.All I had on me was $103. He wasn't going to rent me the truck. What a shame to lose $150 rental for seven bucks. Because I was told the wrong information over the phone per unconcerning Pete. My friend with that was with me stepped in and told Pete he had no right to get mad or raise his voice. Needless to say my friend put up his credit card for me. I was happy my friend came through for me.

Staff seemed overwhelmed. Needed more people to wait on customers. One person was trying to wait on everyone. Some customers took forever to process.

Agents most helpful and very accommodating and considerate of the fact that we were on a 1600 miles one way international haul to our home in Canada. The equipment assigned was first class for a long journey.
