When I reserved the UHAUL truck, I was told that it came with a free moth of storage and a 10x10 storage room. I was also told that the storage room would have street access and that I would be able to drive up to it. The 10x10 storage room was also reserved at that time. When I picked up the truck, there were no issues. The staff members were beyond amazing. However, when I called the destination location, the issues began. When trying to locate my reserved storage room, I was told that there were no 10x10 storage rooms available. They could only offer me two 5x10 storage rooms that wouldn't be near each other. Additionally, I was told that in order to get the free month of storage, I would have to get the storage rooms on the 3rd floor of the building, meaning there was no street level access. I would have had to drive up to the unloading station, take the elevator to the 3rd floor and go in opposite directions to access the storage rooms. I hired movers and not only did this create a large inconvenience, it would have added more time to my move, and I was paying the movers by the hour. Additional time was not in my budget. Moving is already stressful as it is, and what started off as a great experience quickly turned sour after learning what I was initially told was inaccurate. I had 30 minutes to find another storage facility that had street level access. Lastly, I was charged $141 to rent a 15 foot truck for a few hours, when the truck says the rental is $29.95. That's misleading information. Customer service was not quickly accessible, and I would have had a 60 minute wait time to speak with a representative. This was an overall terrible experience, and I won't be using UHAUL again to assist with my moving needs. Signed, An extremely frustrated customer!MICHAEL C.

The staff in particular and facilities/equipment at this location has always been great at this location. However, for the first time, the trailer available was not what I reserved online. I reserved a 5'x9' utility with a wheel chock for a motorcycle. But the trailer that size that was available did not have the chock.RUSSELL N.

This process could not have been easier. The front desk staff was friendly and walked me through the process on what would happen once I got into the vehicle in a quick but efficient manner. Dropping off the vehicle was just as easy. I pulled up to the return area, the staff got in the vehicle and I received my receipt via email almost immediately. Gas was where it they said it was. It was supposed to be 3/4 but it was in between 1/2 and 3/4. The works were leaving at 6 so I couldn't stop and say something. Then it took almost 2 hours to checkout. The scan qr wasn't valid. I call customer service and sat on hold for 30 minutes then they transferred me and I sat longer. The woman that was working didn't know what she was doing. She first said that she wouldn't be able to give the the trailer because it was already reserved by someone else. Thirty minutes later after arguing with her she realized that she had made a mistake and it was my trailer. After hookup she try's to make me pay for it after me telling her I had already paid over $300 for the rental. She tried telling me I was wrong (again) and didn't know what I was talking about. Five minutes later she realized she was wrong and the. Told me I could â€œgo about my wayâ€. It was some of the worst customer service I have ever seen.Kenneth H.
To improve you can start by not charging customers for things out of there control. The truck I was given completely shut off while driving. This truck was then picked up via tow and now I'm being charged for not filling the truck with gas! This makes no since how am I supposed to fill the tank on a truck that doesn't drive. Also not have your customers wait 90 mins in roadside just to come and check to see if the truck is drivable!! Then wait another 90 mins for the tow to come!RACHELL S.

Give detailed information about dropping the vehicle off and checking it in after hours. This was my first time and I had no clue as what to do until I open my txt message. I dnt realy know where to park and was unaware of the process of how and where to park a well as the taking pictures. This caused the droop to take longer than I expected. Other than that is was a great experience. Next time I will know what to expect now that it will not be my first time. The access card kept malfunctioning, the staff was helpful and they fixed the issue over and over again, but what if it happens after hours when no-one is around? They said that they would provide me with a beeper instead, but didn't have any at the moment so they provided me with a code. I had storage since December 2017. I had a large storage and there was some water damage but UHaul too care of that with my claim. I couldn’t take it all so I rented a smaller storage to keep the remainder until I could pick it up. Picked it up, no issues and checked out. It was a very positive experience for me. Having to get out of the car to swipe the access card is annoying and the limited hours the gate is open is inconvenient. I am aware that for an additional cost you can get a remote key but that’s more money going out the door. I switched to another location that has a drive up keypad and unlimited entry hours. When on the phone getting a quote, I was not made aware the price did not include taxes. Only found out when I arrived at the facility after making the 20 mile trip from my home. The initial monthly phone quote of $154.95 went to $167 and some change. Not that much money on a one time deal, but will add up for our new RV that we had planned on keeping there for as long as we own it which will equate to years.
