The location where I picked up the uhaul had terrible customer service. When I went to pick up the uhaul the guy didn't let us know the passenger couldn't get out when the car was loaded on the trailer, so my sister (who has health problems and is overweight) had to climb around into the back seat to get out, when I let him know she could barely get out he threw his hands in the air and left to sit next to a storage unit until she struggled to get out (he was the only worker there too). This was my first time moving and using any of this equipment and was already shy to say anything, plus I was late to get to my house which was 2 1/2 hrs away. Although the truck was clean it was very old and needed maintenance the steering was off so I had to keep the steering wheel turned to the left the keep it straight other than that it was fine. I will never use uhaul ever again.

The pick up in cedar hill was fine. The cedar hill uhaul and storage location helped us out after the online process failed us. We never got a call or text stating that our rental location changed from compass storage in cedar hill to a place in midlothian, tx. Luckily the cedar hill uhaul was open and could get us a one way truck. Online process could use some checks and balances. Once we were on the way, all was smooth. I like the drop off process with the online photos and location accuracy. Not a bad experience.

The guy who was suppose to help me just made an excuse saying he does not have the right key card and just left. I then waited 20 minutes until the next guy came to help. Then when returning the equipment a guy came back from helping a customer and said "I can help you now" in an annoyed tone. There was two people out of many that actually was very professional.

I was so relieved to know that I could drop off the rented trailer in an area close to where I live and not have to haul it back across town. Although the facility was closed when I dropped it off, it was convenient and easy.

Tia was great! Exceeded all of my expectations! The customer service rep needs to be more engaged with customers to provide an excellent customer service experience. He barely spoke at all, even when I asked questions. That's the only reason this review isn't rated "excellent". Other than that, I was well pleased with my experience.

This is too expensive! Not only are you now charged by the mile, you have to fill the tank back to where it was. After all of the charges added it was $80! After bein advertised as $19.95. I would not recommend using renting a uhaul ever again. The people in this store were nice.

The lock on the back of the uhaul was broken. It was not a great feeling knowing all of my belongings were going to be unlocked overnight at my home because of the faulty lock.

Can't remember the lady's name, Tia, Mia, or something, but she was most attentive and explained the coupling and uncoupling, and got me in and out in minutes. The pre-check in process helped with the process ease. My only convenience items I would have preferred would be for UHaul to have 7-way electrical connectors that match modern vehicles with factory tow packages and it would have been nice to have EZ Trak on the trailer sides for more convenient load securing.

The original location where I reserved my equipment in desoto off of Parker didn't call to notify me that the truck wasn't on site. I drove an hour to that location to find this out. I was delayed hours and the truck never made it back . I was then told to go over to the cedar hill location which was further from my destination which meant more in mileage I would have to travel which is more money I would spend. Couple this with the fact there was a gas shortage going on so I had to drive around looking for gas I never found and was faced with higher gas charges as well. I always return with gas. I never got my $50 guarantee credited back to my card either. So I would like that which is due plus someone from corporate to explain why I have to request this and why was this treated so poorly.

There wasn't anyone in the store, waited about 10 mins before someone showed up. The young man was not apologetic, walking slow. I checked in online to make my wait shorter, that didn't work out. The young man that processed me was not professional he was telling the young man that was checking in vehicle to take all the trash out because he wasn't doing anything extra. He charged me for a utility dolly which he didn't give me, I didn't notice until I got to my location which made my move very difficult...
