I only ordered a 26 foot truck, and a large dolly. I confirmed the day before, both were available and ready. When I showed up, uhaul didn't have the dolly, and said I could drive to Durham or elsewhere to see if one was available. I booked the truck 3 months in advance. If someone rents your items, you should have essential supplies for the use. It's unacceptable to think people can move refrigerators, washers, and dryers without a dolly. I was not very happy about this, especially since I was moving myself.Denise R.

Took about 30 mins to get the equipment even as a self check out because still had to get key from someone inside. Only staff inside, at counter, was helping customer and then went outside with them. They never returned while we were there. Thankfully someone else eventually came in about 15 minute later to help. I feel this wouldn't matter so much if there was no time limit on the equipment rental. Over all experience was above average though, the person who helped us was very nice and when i called in later to add hours to my rental the person picked up the phone relatively quickly and was nice and helpful.Leslie W.

Jasmine is rude and hostile to customers. Her poor customer service attitude causes your other employees to have similar uncooperative behavior. I own and operate 3 businesses - I was shocked at the treatment I received which caused me to check that location on Google Business Reviews: A "2.3" out of 5 really says it all. The cell data service at this location is ZERO. So all of the fancy app details you have require contact back to U-Haul servers - making it literally impossible to use the app to check out or return the vehicle. I still had to go inside the store and they advised to connect to their WiFi hotspot - that worked - if you are standing in their building. Walk outside of their METAL building and there is no WiFi. Go inside and spend an extra 30 mins for them to figure out how to back these things off the contact so you are not charged for them and they are not expected on other side. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The truck was clean, but maintained? Clunky, shifted hard, driver side front dented, gas gauge never moved but it took $7 to fill it. I am 5'1" and it was extremely difficult for me to get in the cab. Need drop down or provide step stool. Could move seat forward, but not up. Every time I go in there, there were issues. Exterior doors that didn’t lock, key cards that didn’t work. I had two climate controlled storage units and one covered RV parking. All we’re supposed to linked to auto draft, but they weren’t. When I’ve rented trucks or trailers they just give you the number and you have to go find it yourself. I had used this location about 1.5 years before. Precious the manager was great and everything I ordered was delivered. However this last experience was totally different. I had prereserved the truck and storage area. When I arrived for the truck they did not have the dolly that I had ordered. Since I was moving from a second story apartment with MANY boxes this was unacceptable!! The clerk did try to find a dolly from another facility but was not successful. The truck that was recommended did NOT hold all of my belongings. Also I thought I had reserved the largest climate controlled storage unit but when my truck with belongings arrived they did NOT have the unit Available. So I wound up having to rent 2 units which cost A LOT more. I would recommend that you personally check your truck and storage unit BEFORE your moving day. I didn’t and got scr***d. This is the busiest Uhual I have ever seen! The General Maanger, and his staff went above and beyond to help me with my returns, and storage. I traveled across coutry, and drove more than 20 hours to reach my destination. They were the kindest and most professional staff; and I was truly appreciative of it. U-Haul truck reservation that was part of the Storage order was not avaialble.
