My BAD EXPERIENCE WITH UHAUL STARTED WITH THE RESERVATION AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTIVES FROM THE 29TH OF AUGUST WHEN I CALLED TO FOLLOW UP ON MY RESERVATION. NOTHING ABOUT THIS HAS NEEN GOOD AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND YOU FOR A STATE TO STATE MOVE.

Truck had a strange smell coming from the AC, like burned wires or brunt brakes. Didn't effect operation. Just smelled bad.

Having more employees during peak demand times would reduce wait times for customers. The people who work at this store are outstanding and I see that they are working very hard.

The staff was very nice and courteous. The equipment, on the other hand, needs to be upgraded. The truck that I got had poor seat belts and fromt lights.

Once again, HIGHLY disappointed in the service and vehicle provided. I was sent an email with my invoice attached that had a link to email about questions or concerns with the billing, that was three weeks ago and STILL no response by email or phone. I was over charged, I was given a truck that continually lost oil pressure and, that was after I had to go 30 miles out of my way to get the truck in the first place, due to the location I actually reserved the truck at did not have it when I arrived. I was also charged for that additional milage. I went against my better judgement to rent from Uhaul again after a terrible experience with your company in 2005, moving from Arizona to North Carolina. I will never recommend Uhaul to ANYONE and will always advise to use another provider after being through terrible service twice now.

Check in agent was not too friendly

Convenient but the Sunday desk staff was disinterested, slow, and came across as rude. The $19.95 around town move came out to $38 and change despite a very low milage round trip and declining aggressively priced and pushed insurance.

Good experience. You might check the gas gauge on the truck, as it may have gotten "stuck" on full. I was thinking it would have been about 2/3 full since I filled it up about 70 miles before turning it in.

The truck was not well kept, need work done on front end speeds over 45 /50 hard to keep in lane.

I am so used to Chris taking care of my UHaul needs and this morning a young man who clearly was having a bad day was behind the register. No smile. No thank you. Nothing...not very customer friendly. I truly hope his day got better. Love Chris and love this location. Trucks are always in great shape.

You need to improve on customer parking. There were no spaces near the rental area. I had to move my car twice. I suggest that employees park somewhere else. Also the instruction to "park along the fence" is not specific enough. I did park along the fence and was told to move it to somewhere else along the fence.

The door on the driver side didn’t shut completely. The seatbelt didn’t retract so it was loose while driving. The lock on the back door was very hard to manage I need spoiled or something. And again according to the contract where my gas gauge was just hovering above empty, I was to put in 20 gallons to get it to the halfway mark which is supposedly where I picked it up at, and I added 20.5 gallons and it filled the truck almost completely. I left the contract that was given to me with it marked and the receipt with the person I turned in the truck to because that’s almost $30 more that I put into that The door on the driver side didn’t shut completely. There’s no reason why you should’ve came back with almost a full tank when I picked it up and it was actually below half a tank. Something needs to be done because that is the third rental this month and is the third time that I’ve dropped it off with a more definite. But luckily there was a representative there this time, because last time even though I dropped it off with more gas when I picked it up with I was still charged $9.14 which I made a complaint about. Not used to dealing with the U-Haul in this location or in this area the one I am used to dealing with, or two different locations in Ohio I never seem to have these problems, but I’m not sure that they did it the same way because it was quite that I shouldn’t of had to of paid out. The van was reserved via online app. A rep calls me about an hour before and says it’s not available. They can give me a different vehicle which costs more from a location further away. They can take away $.10/mile. Even though it was not much more the truck would still cost more. I was also quoted $19.95 for the 4 hours. When the person called me back she said it was $42 for the 4 hours. So my bill went up about $30. She said it would be cheaper to rent it for the day. I decided to cancel and call back. When I did the gentleman found me a van (which is what I originally asked for) at the local U-Haul,(which is where I asked) available at 10:15 am, (which I asked for one at 10:30. So even though I can imagine that there might’ve been a late return if he vehicle it seems quite ironic that it is exactly what I wanted where and when I wanted and was available right after being told it wasn’t AND for the price I was originally quoted via app. I was supposed to have the vehicle 10 hours. Since the run around delayed everything half an hour and the extreme wait (always) at the location, I was out the door over an hour late with the same return time. 8pm. I decided the time didn’t allow me another trip and didn’t want to be penalized, especially since I’m a single mom right on funds in middle of a costly move, and returned the vehicle about 8-10 mins before 7, which was the advertised close time at the location. The doors where already locked and nobody was there. There were at least 3 other drop offs. There right behind me. I followed the after hours instructions and when I took a picture of the gas gauge and input it, it told me I returned it low in gas. According to my paper and the gauge itself I put about $2.5 more into the tank and the needle definitely showed it as it hovered right under full instead of right above the 3/4 mark. I ALWAYS put and extra few dollars so I am not charge anything more. I didn’t see how to take a better picture so I made a comment on the return. I since then have receive a charge of $9.14 from Uhaul. I’m assuming it was the gas since that was mentioned and I returned it cleaner than how it was picked up. The seats had debris on them which was hard to remove (dead grass or straw. The rest of the vehicle was clean). Anyway my main concern is I am a return customer and am picking up a truck tomorrow. I will not be returning after hours but am shocked that it OBVIOUSLY wasn’t checked by the people at the location the following morning and after all the stress and time and complaints from myself and the multiple people in the line ALWAYS waiting for almost an hour to check in EVEN through we did the express checkout, I’m finally going to make a complaint. Eventually someone is going to snap there which is sad because I know most of it probably isn’t the fault of the individual who is working. I have only dealt with this location 2x and tomorrow a 3rd but I have dealt with U-Haul multiple times in multiple states in the past
