Just a little too costly.

On this particular day & visit there was only one employee handling the front desk while I was there. There were three customers in line ahead of me and at least one behind me. I waited over 10 minutes to be addressed. I was there around 11am on a Wednesday. I felt that a secondary front desk staff would have improved the service time. No explanation was given for the wait time. The staff member, however, was very courteous when he engaged with me.

Everything was good except for a giant hole right outside my storage unit which resulted in a huge puddle for the past couple of rainy months. Made getting things out very inconvenient.

Went above and beyond for situation!

Customer service was good. The sales associate helped me out and is polite. However, when receiving the van, gas tank was pretty much empty. The associate mentioned that it was siphoned so I had to fill it up beforehand and got credit fuel after returning the rental. I didn't wanna pay for gas to be honest as it is expected that the vehicle should have some gas in it. Thank you for the service.

It was easy and fast to pick up the trailer

Vehicle was promised at 7:30 am, confirmed by email. When I arrived at the location, the app said no vehicle was available and to call. The wait on the phone was over 30 min and they told me I had to wait until the location opened at 9am. Finally received vehicle at 9:30 making me late for the people scheduled to help me. Not a good experience. Actual folks at the location were nice.

The ten ft truck did not have a lot of legroom. I was surprised that after filling 3.5 gallons for a 57 mi trip, I was told I was a gallon short. I thought the trucks did better than 12 MPG.

I had problems with the app. I was not able to do my sign in or out with the app successfully. But the employees were able to help with the qhole process.

My experience was wonderful. It was very efficient, cost-effective the service both picking up the U-Haul and when I drop the U-Haul off was great above and beyond my expectations.

This uhaul store has exceptional service, and has a facility that offers all products needed for a move. Every time (and there were several) I altered my plans, all employees were curtious and efficient. My only problem is that we were rerouted from our destination of Yerington, NV to Silver Springs, NV a round trip of 70 miles in a vehicle that gets 5 miles to the gallon is about $50 extra. I was offered an extra day, but didn't require an extra day. I'm hoping to be credited.

I first had a reservation on the 20th upon arrival I was told the truck I reserved was pinging in pebble beach ca. I was unable to rent anything that day. 9/21 - pickup was smooth no issues. The trucks oil said needed to be changed. After drop off I let the team know that the truck needed PM service. His response was that it’s said it’s needed an oil change for weeks now.

It took 15 minutes for someone to come out from the office to help me; that was after calling out down the hall multiple times. The truck should not have been rented out due mechanical issues. Having to wait 20 minutes when I back to pick up the trailer without even being acknowledged by the person behind the counter; when there was at least two people earlier. Robert in Hollister was helpful and very nice.

I am highly disappointed that I tried 6 times to get ahold of uhaul to change my drop off location, could not talk to a live person, left message as to what I wanted to do asked for a call back, never got one. So u haul charged me 11 dollars because I did not drop it off at the location they assigned me to. I was told at the time of pick up all I had to do is call and change location. This is not good business, I sure hope I get my deposit back.....

Our move went smoothly. U-haul provided excellent and clear communication. The App is easy to use and we had our own complications arise. Everyone who helped us was knowledgeable and directed us to exactly what we needed.

I had some mechanical issues and did not like the way the on road service handled it. Basically they said i was wrong and after the mechanic left warning lights came on. They said I was completely wrong that nothing was wrong because the lights were not on when the mechanic was there.

It might be helpful to tenants to stay open for access to the units 24/7, this would add a good convenience, especially since ghe units are secured, alarmed and have insurance options available. But over all its secure clean and organized.

The unit I rented said that I could fit a 2-3 bedroom home in it, which was wildly inaccurate. I had to scramble around to find a new place and the professionals at other storage rentals said there was no way to store a 2-3 bedroom home in the unit Uhaul suggested either. Very misleading and very stressful.

I booked a unit that specifically said it would hold items for a 2-3 bedroom home. Upon arrival, the size of the unit was laughable, and absolutely not as advertised. Staff was unhelpful and I had to scramble to find another storage facility to hold my items.

I needed and reserved a 26 foot truck in Roseville, CA for 2days for $93 if I dropped off the Uhaul in Uba city CA. So the next day I got dropped off from Chico, Ca to Roseville U-Haul to find out They gave away my truck and had to give me a ride to a different uhaul store were I was told had the truck I needed but didn't. The only thing they had was a 20 foot truck which I felt forced to take. And Now it would be $164.00 and still would have to take it to Uba city. I had to make 2 trips instead of one which took another 2days plus all the gas....it was a complete nightmare and cost me soooooo much money I did not plan for.

Everyone is friendly and helpful and I barely visited my unit, knowing that it was secure. It’s nice and clean. I like having a unit inside of the facility building. Also when I rented the car trailer- a cheerful and capable young lady hooked the whole thing up to my pickup for me, and went through the safety check. When I returned it later I didn’t even get out of the truck! Chico uhaul is top notch.

The communication at the facility was fair. But in all fairness, they were very busy. The explanation of how to enter the security code was not clear. There are two locations at the site. All this being said, they did their best to assist me. I think the confusion is that I reserved the space online and not at the desk. They also shared that sometimes a space can be double-booked, although this did not happen to me.

The Chico, CA Office and the branch manager there was very helpful, courteous and professional, in which I will use this facility again. However, the phone number to get a hold of U-Haul’s customer service and/or to pay my monthly bill had very long wait times that lasted over an hour sometimes. U-haul needs to revamp their customer service line, in order to drastically reduce the wait time over the phone.

The customer service is absolutely horrible and nonexistent. I will never use this uhual again. Was never offered any discounts or refunds for any of my inconveniences, which were many, and caused hours and hours of delay in moving. Because of lack of organization and communication I had to rent two units instead of one, which were completely across the entire storage facility making it even more inconvenient when moving and organizing my items.

The first I had was a rented cargo van totally dirty outside mud on lower half and inside both seats had long dog hair he said there was quarter tank of gas so I got in drive it down to first light smelling strong gas inside when the light and alarm told me I was low on gas stopped down at tower market on park and fair put 35.00 dollars in almost 9 galsdrove to old mall on east ave then home 1st ave west and tank was on saying I was empty. Next day got in van drove down towards the esplanade when the voice and alarm said i was low on gas. So i drove back to the uhaul place was told they just fix the gas leak will it wasnt fixed ask what they could do for me about the thirty five dollars I put in gas said I'll have to sendin that I did and what happen and I ended up with a 3/4 truck and everything was a lot better.is there anyway I can keep the truck tell mon could do hardly nothing the first two days with all the problems .please let me know thank you kathy toledo 5303212964 Toledo1932@gmail.com

I had reserved one of the indoor, climate control storage units on-line. When I went in to pay for the unit it turned out to be an outside one. Bronson said that there were supposed to be two units inside that were going to be emptied that day or the next and that he would keep my reservation open and call me as soon as they were available. I got a call that afternoon and was able to take care of the check in over the phone. I really appreciated the extra time that Bronson spent to make sure that I got a nice unit! I will always recommend this U-Haul for any moving or storage needs! Great people and pleasant experience!!

Used this facility a few times in the last month. People were always nice and helpful. I chose this place to rent our truck and a storage everything always went smoothly.
