You motorcycle trailer is TOO high, it tore off the custom lighting on the bottom of my 2001 Road King. Than when I called to complain I was told it's my fault for not measuring. That since they didn't load it that they aren't responsible. So I will make sure every biker I ever talk to I tell them to never use your â€˜motorcycle' hauler. I'm just lucky that's all it did to my bike. But now I'm out at least $200 to have lights replaced.. so extremely upset and disappointed, never again.David B.

The company needs to significantly improve the internet or system. 3 out of four times the system has been slow or not working. I planned to move my household items into storage. When I returned with the truck the computer system was down. I had to return my stuff to the garage and return the truck without storing it because they could not compete a rental agreement for storage. This was a huge inconvenience to me. I had this window of opportunity planned, before leaving on a business trip. When I return from my trip, I have one day with other commitments before leaving for my wedding. This is not a way to conduct business and placed the staff in a very awkward situation. â€”MarvMarvin D.
The Chippewa location is in a great, convenient location and offers a lot of great storage and moving options. All staff was friendly and professional, and the rate for my equipment was very fair. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who needs storage of moving help.Charles R.

The lady that helped me was very helpful and pleasant however, when we first walked in, we weren't even greeted instead we were rudely yelled at by a man with glasses and shaved head that we needed to put our masks on, just because masks are required not everybody has flipped over to that way of thinking yet because it hasn't been a life long requirement, so sometimes people just forget. Plus there were other workers not wearing theirs so it didn't seem like it was that important. Anyway, there's nicer ways to telling people to do something by actually getting them first.Leah B.

This place is a complete rip-off. I got a quote on the U-Haul website for a car hauler. I called this location to check on this item being on property because I've had terrible experiences with U-haul scheduling me for items that weren't were they were supposed to be. Long story short and showed up for the trailer they billed me for almost twice what the website quoted for the trailer. I despise dealing with U-Haul and wish there was another option.THOMAS J.

Needed a good sweep out, but other than that, the trailer was in good condition. The standout of my experience though was dealing with Trish. She was polite and knowledgeable, and put me at ease about my first trailer rental. She made sure to hook everything up and double check it for me, and gave me a few pointers to help me on the road. 10/10 would rent from here again based on her alone.Donald H.

I watched a news report on the cleanliness of some of the vehicles available for rent at other facilities(these were in relation to New York outlets). I wanted to say, I rent these vehicles on a fairly often occasion for my job to haul items. I have never witness any dirty vehicles and they are always clean and I honestly feel safe renting from this facility. During this Pandemic, it is a trying time for everyone, and I want to state that I will continue to use this facility and feel safe that they are taking the proper precautions to provide a safe experience for all clients. The representative at the location did not know to tell me that the fender on the AT could be moved down to allow opening and closing of the driver side door of the car being transported. This resulted in me driving back to the location to return the AT I thought was unusable, only to be told by another employee that the fender could be moved. Overcharged me for 11 days on a 5x8 local trailer rental by charging my credit card on 4 separate occasions. On 10/5/20 $29.10 which was only suppose to be a hold when I rented the trailer on 10/2. On 10/6/20 another charge of $174.64 which shouldn't have been charged because I only extended trailer rental, I didn't turn in. On 10/7/20 $29.11 was charged as another deposit I had no idea why I was charged another deposit especially since deposits are suppose to be a hold not a charge. On 10/12/20 $261.96 when I turned in the trailer rental. When I went back to the Uhaul office on 10/13/20 I was told I was to send proof of the charges when they could only see the 3 charges of $29.10, $29.11 & $261.96. The representative Kelly Klunk could not explain why I was charged 2 deposits in the first place. She said that she would reach out to their credit department to have them initiate an investigation. So I asked if I could reach out to the credit department directly and I was told I couldn't. I don't think these types of bank records should be handled by a minimum wage employee.LL L.

I found it very interesting that you charge twice. Not sure how legal that is. You have an advertised rate (in my case, $29.99), but also a mileage fee, which is interesting since I had to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas. The $.79 per mile is not advertised, and appears as a required charge. A little false advertisement? It definitely has caused me to re-evaluate ever using U-Haul again for moving. I would MUCH rather deal with a company that is up front with their charges, even if it is more expensive. Sorry you have taken up such unethical practices.Brian M.

I’m very happy the office staff was still available when we moved in because for first time storage unit users the process was really confusing, especially as I requested online. I was disappointed in the size of the smallest unit that I have because it said it was big enough to store one room worth of stuff in, maybe if you were storing a bathrooms worth of stuff, but we managed to store the few things I needed to.
