have questions about milage. When ordered van I told clerk where i was going but later found out it was closer than then I thought, only a few miles. When I returned van the clerk told me that I had gone farther then I had told him before taking van. I tried to question clerk, he just kind of laughed and said, " well you returned it early, so it works out about the same." I am not sure that I would trust them for a long haul. My trip was less then 90 miles.

I dropped off UHAUL after hours so did not meet personnel at Clarklake but the outside was clean and inviting. Overall it was a good experience extremely pleased with the UHAUL app to drop off after hours.

However, I dont know if it was his 1st day or what, as he didnt know how to split payment, couldn't recommend what lock to purchase, pointed to where truck was, but did not even offer to pull to front for me or even explain anything about how to operate inside truck options. Fortunately the truck ran well and I completed my trip. Also, when a person reserves a truck at a particular location, you should not have a customer running around to find out the morning of pickup, that I had to drive to a location in another city. Then to send a text stating to drop-off in a completely different location. Thats not good customer service.

Lora HThe service desk attendant was more interested in his conversation on his phone than his job. I was put on extended pause at different times while the attendant dealt with his phone conversation. The attendant tried to convince me as well that a jumper wire for the lights on my trailer was not needed. Two U-Haul maintenance guys showed up later and were able to correct the issue. The facility was clean and secure.

Michael R | First ImpressionsWhen I made a reservation it was for a different location, they didn’t have the equipment there so they transferred me to a different location with a larger truck that they said wouldn’t cost extra. However they not only charged me for the larger truck but also the extra miles the new location was away from the first. Don’t lie about what you’re actually going to charge someone when they show up and have no other choice.
VANCE AMake sure they check their drop off location before they leave because I called them and told them that I was dropping the trailer off at the Jolly & Cedar location in Lansing and he told me it was all clear to drop it off there and I was charged 166 dollars for a wrong drop off.
DAVID LI had never stepped foot into this U-haul location, but Diamante made me feel welcome and explained my options and we were able to go through the entire process in only a short amount of time. He followed up with me, and answered all of my questions. I was even able to return the U-haul after-hours on a Sunday by using the key drop off. Super efficient and convenient, and they had a wide selection of U-haul equipment to choose from, which is what brought me in to this particular location after driving past the day before. I would recommend this location and team to anyone needing help with their moving or storage needs!
