The experience I had; the Uhaul attendants took their sweet time to get people in/out of the facility. Service was good, but attendants need to process people with a bit more urgency. Took me 25min to turn in a truck.

When we arrived at our destination the things that go around the tires on the vehicle on the car trailer had fallen off the tires. It appears that they were not put on correctly. So, we traveled from Texas to Florida with 2 chains holding my car in place! Not safe.

I have used this facility in the past and they have always been friendly, courteous, and helpful. I dealt with Israel for the reservation and the return. He was especially helpful and courteous. I will definitely use this facility again.

Chose a location close to home, location was changed w/o telling me. Had to go cross town to pick up truck/tow dolly. Left my vehicle and dolly to go fill truck. Rep said they'd help load Jeep in the morning. Tire light came on went back to 2nd site, tires checked light still on but okayed to go. Got call at 6:40pm saying there was a problem with the dolly & I'd have to pick up from a 3rd site. Ended up they rented my tow dolly out to someone else after I paid for it! Ended up picking up Jeep from 2nd site & then picking up tow dolly from 3rd site. All time lost packing and a waste of my gas. Pretty frustrating but kudos to the guy @ 3rd site for getting us going. Check in guy at final drop off was professional and quick too.

Fix the online portal to ensure no over or double booking and also make sure users get their reservations or notifications if something goes wrong. Also allow for trade offs for over filling a vehicle on return to cancel out anything under 20 miles literally a rip off. I have to pay for gas I can't tell how much to add but you all have no problem taking more money for miles and not refunding folks for their gas that's non sense

Wasn't not notified that the dolly & moviing blankets were a daily charge. It almost totaled an extra 100$ for the time we had uhaul. I wish they had better customer service & inform throughly about daily charges. I'm a single mom & was on a budget & had to move a 1700sq food home so I need the extra tools but now that extra 100$ was all I had left. After I only expected to pay around 20$ for the extras. Just sad

Forgot to mention this during equipment return, there was some occasional (rare) belt squeak/chirp during my trip. Respectfully recommend inspecting the drivebelt(s) so it doesn't break on the next customer in the middle of a big trip.

Equipment was great, but there was a little confusion by the attendent from an unexpected phone call during the rental which added stress to my experience. It was easy procuring the trailer. I was in and out upon pickup, and drop-off wasn't bad either, but I would probably try another place again before I go back.

I waited 20 min in lobby for someone to help me. When I finally got help System shut down in the middle of my rental. They took my money yet I couldn't have a truck. They couldn't refund me money. The front desk lady michelle had no business being at front desk, she has no personality & doesn't know how interact with customers.

You have the worst customer service and I am filing a complaint. My bedroom dresser was damaged and my mattress. I bought the insurance and I am filing a claim. The only helpful person was Lois Prudhomes. You shored her pay. Made her rent a truck so she could deliver my furniture which was still 2 days late.

The U-Haul self check-in app never works properly. It will not accept the "take a picture of the mileage/gas" step and then I have to wait for the Uhaul employee to do the check.

The staff was great, hats off to those guys first of all. They were friendly and courteous. If there is anything I can say to make a smooth transaction, I would advise CUSTOMERS to make reservations online, fill out everything accordingly including driver license. I noticed when I arrived I was in and out. I also notice in the brief time checking in, everyone around me was doing everything I had already done while making the reservation online. So just a quick tip, do it all online or phone and you can get in out and make it easier on the staff. I know the guy checking me said "I wish all the customers were like you."

Terrible Experience! Rented 3 Uboxes while remodeling my house and had them store them locally in Corpus Christi TX. About 3 weeks after they were in storage I received an email saying Uhaul out of Ohio had charged me $54 for an Ubox and were going to charge me 1200 for shipping from Ohio. I called Uhaul got national call center and spoke with them. After about 30 minutes and talking to them I was told that someone who was shipping a box from Ohio to Corpus Christi and the local Uhaul in Ohio charged it to my account and my card on file for my boxes were charged. They advised me that they would refund the money and take my card off file and look into the matter more and get back with me. They assured me that my card on file would not be charged the $1200. Well about a week later I get a text from my Credit Card Company saying that someone in Ohio Uhaul is charging $1200 to my card and if this was correct,. I call my card company and tell them no and advised them what is going on. I had to cancel my card thinking somebody has my information and on top of that the $54 I was charged earlier was never refunded. This card is my main card that I use all the time and have with me. I get the miles and just pay it off at the end of the month. My bills and utilities come out of it. I pretty much use it as a debit card. So now I have to wait for a new card and change everything over to the new card. A huge pain in the butt. I call Uhaul locally and they tell me they will look into it and get back with me. When they call me I finally found out that they shipped one of my boxes to Ohio and when they figured it out that they had it shipped back to Corpus Christi and were charging me for the shipping and that I should be receiving a phone call from Uhaul National Call center to get it all straightened out. I received a phone call and speaking to some manager they tell me that they are going to waive the shipping fee from Ohio with some type of VIP thing like it was some type of special favor they were doing me. I was beyond angry now and decided the best thing to do was not to do anything until I get all of my boxes back and out of storage so nothing could happen to them. A couple of days later I call Uhaul to schedule picking up my boxes. I scheduled to get one on a Saturday and the others on a Monday as I had moving help coming on Monday to help unpack. I could not pick my one box up on Saturday due to working that day so I call them and tell them I will be there at 8am on Monday. I get there at 8am and my boxes are still in the warehouse not ready. It takes about an hour to get one on a trailer. I take that one and tell them that I will drop the one off that I have and go back and get another one in about 30 minutes. I do that and when I go to pick the 2nd one up, I am told that I need to only get one at a time and they need the trailer to load them on. There were 3 more trailers that next to where I was standing. Again I am ticked but if I want my stuff what can I do. So I go back unload everything out of that box and go back for them to offload the empty box and put a full one back on. I have to do this for each of my boxes all while I have movers standing around waiting for the box to unload. This is the worst experience with moving I have ever had. With this place being a terrible Uhaul place I will say that several of there employees were very nice and helped me while I was there but its obviously has some management or owner issues. Now that I have this review written I will be talking to Uhaul corporate to get my complaint filed. Didn't want to do that until I was sent the link to leave a review of this place. I had a reservation for a climate control 10x15 at the SPID location however after packing my entire house in Houston and driving 4 hours I am told at the SPID location that they don’t have any available. They referred me to their Port location so after arriving there we are given 2 storage options neither are climate controlled which is specifically what I needed. The 2 options included one that still had a mattress and other miscellaneous stuff from the previous tenant or one with Big holes in the walls and grease and dirt all over the floor. So all of mine and my families possessions are now stored in a 10x15 non climate controlled storage rooms with holes in the wall which can be accessed by the room next door but at that point I don’t have an option because they tell me I still have to get the truck back to SPID by 3pm and I was out of time. I appreciate being left stranded with no where to put my stuff because y’all messed up the reservation and the extreme lack of caring from your staff. I spent over $500 renting a truck from Uhaul which I have done several times in the past but this will be the last time I ever use U-Haul for truck or storage and I am going to make sure I tell every family member and friend exactly how my experience went And show them the pictures I took of my storage unit so they know what to expect if they ever have the need for storage or truck rental. Thank you for the worst experience possible.
