When ordering the Uhaul i gave them my credit card to reserve it. I was told you didn't have to pay for it until the UHaul was turned in. The fee was deducted from my account anyway. My daughter was going to pay for the fees with her credit card when the Haul was turned in. And you WOULD NOT credit my account and put it on her card. I am not happy that i was misled. If ever we need a trailer again i will go elsewhere. NOT HAPPY. Thank God i had money transferred into my account in case something like that happened. Not only that we got the run around and had to call different numbers to try and get my account credited. To no avail.

I showed up at the location at the time of my reservation. I downloaded the app so that I could pick up the truck without going inside or talking to anyone. However, the vehicle that I was assigned was not in the parking lot. I ended up having to go inside and ask. The associate was very nice but told me that since she was the only one in the office that I would need to go to their remote lot around the corner to see if the vehicle was there, and if it was to come back and tell her to get the key. Luckily the person that drove me there hadn't left yet and was able to drive me over there and back and back again. Using the online app to get the vehicle, it says once you find the vehicle to walk right up to the counter and not wait in line. But when I did that, other customers were helped first. Then once I got to where I was to pick up items, I realized that the dolly I paid extra for was not in the truck so I had to drive all the way back to the store to get one. When I explained that I hadn't gotten the dolly I had paid for, there was no apology, no empathy, nothing. Granted, I was a little snippy because the whole process took way longer than it should have when I made a reservation to avoid delays. Bottom line, have the trucks in the lot and make sure they have the additional items that customers paid for.

The return address takes you to the wrong location to drop off the truck. It takes you to the storage side, and not the drop off the truck side. The attendant was super helpful and came and got the keys from me at essentially the back door because I'd already dropped off the truck in their parking lot.

This was the first time I've personally rented myself. I've been around them a lot .I came in without a reservation and I have to say I was very impressed by this location. It was clean and neat and Alex was very helpful. He explained the whole process start to finish ( after hours drop off, gas your contact number and everything) I'm in customer service and I appreciate being treated like I treat my customers. I made it back before closing and was greeted outside as I pulled in. I didn't catch his name but he explained the check in process and final charge. Again very professional. The whole experience was flawless from your end which was very helpful during my hectic day. I'm not much for writing reviews, but I felt my experience with Uhaul was above and beyond. We were quoted 30.00 per day for the rental. The young man did NOT tell us there was a different rate for a one way rental. He even said we would be charged only for the days we actually used the trailer instead of the 5 day allowance. When I attempted to clarify with the young man, I got UHAUL instead that is when we were informed of the 601.00 flat rate. When I saw the 601.00 charge I assumed it was so high maybe because of a deposit. NO SIR I was charged 575.00 plus Tax. That is just wrong. I will not use nor recommend Uhaul to anyone.

Jeffrey Hunt 12:18 PM (0 minutes ago) to noreply I wanted to rent from a location only a 1/4 mile from my home. I was routed to another location a bit out of the way and of further distance. When I arrived the next day to pick up, I was told the location had been changed to an even further distance pick up location. I was told this was SOP. I went to the current pick up location and was given the normal run down and offered all the extra perks... the truck ended up being a beater with over 175,000 miles on the odometer. It rode like a 1800's buggy, was loud, and sucked fuel, plus the steering swayed back and forth like a kite in the wind. When we went to pull out the loading ramp, we discovered that the ramp came off the track and trolly under-carriage and we could not fully extend it out. We had to shove it back in and secure it with bungee cords. Needless to say, we loaded the entire truck from ground level and never had the use of the trucks ramp. When we reported the issue to U-haul, we were offered no assistance or aid. As the day turned to night, we then found out that none of the interior box lights worked....not surprised... The more discouraging thing was a brand new 26' truck sat un-used at the U-Haul location just down the street, as we passed it all 3 days that we had the clunker. Upon return, no discounts or apologies were offered, just a confirmation of the full price my card would be billed....sigh... I will never rent from U-Haul again.... take care of the equipment and stop renting lemons at full price

Cuyahoga Falls location has very friendly staff, it is a pleasure to deal with them. The equipment is also good... we got lucky and had brand new cargo van as our rental! We returned it looking exactly the same, clean and tank filled. Thank you for the awesome service you provide!

Very poor integrity of the locker door! It would seem to retract all the way up so we could access our items then fall down a few feet all the sudden on us. One person would have to hold it will the other treid to pull things out. Bad experiance! When explained to the person checking me out he didnt seem to care or have a comment! It fell on my head once!!

Charged me the extra mileages to return the truck back to the location i rented it from. This was a two hour trip out of my way. The truck clearly needed brakes and barely stopped. The truck also had excessive sway on the highway more then likely due to a loose suspension put in the front of the vehicle. Highly advise maintaining the vehicle or replacing the vehicle before the miles get that high on it.

I rented a truck which had the check engine light on as well as an error message service the tire pressure sensors. Having these lights illuminated on the dash made it difficult to tell if the truck had a real problem such as a flat tire. When I rented a truck, the location was serviced by one employee who had the phone ringing, customers waiting in line, and my verification of truck condition app did not work so he had to go outside to take pictures. This is quite a lot of work for one person. I commend his effort.

I don’t like the ramps bc there is nothing to hold on to & no step up to where you check in It’s supposed to be climate control but it has always been hot in there Stuffy There's always condensation the floors & in my unit I actually had damage to a piece of my furniture I ESPECIALLY that you don’t credit money if you move out a few days after you due date!

I rented a 10 x10 room indoor room. There is no number on the door. The room is under 8x10 in actual dimension. The tag on the latch had the wrong room number on it. I found the right room so that's not a big problem but I am paying for a 10x10.

The mobile website was very glitchy and hard to use. The alarm went off when we got to our unit and opened it, following directions. There was no lock inside the unit as promised. We decided not to use the unit and never moved anything into it.

Your help in store and on the phone were not customer oriented. Not friendly and not enough help in the store. The best experience I had was when I closed my account. The gentleman that helped me knew what he was doing and there were no delays in getting it done. I will say the visit was perfect as soon as I find out the money isn't taken out of my account at the end of the month. That it is truly closed.

Rosie and Mike took my name and number and said they would call me if one became available. I also called to check and Mike & Rosie were ALWAYS pleasant. We had to come unlock our unit so they could finish wiring the lighting. They sent our bill to the wrong address and we ended up with a late fee. Lots of little issues that left us unsatisfied.

My "greeter" who oriented me was pleasant and helpful. The cubicle was clean. But more trash bins should be available and EMPTIED . I have been there twice and the one receptacle was overflowing .

The unit itself is fine. It would be better if there was 24/7 access to the building. The building is still majorly under construction so hopefully they finish soon and upgrade the security.
