My only issue was with scheduling. My location and time for pickup was changed causing major issues as I had travelled 10.5 hours to pick up the truck and was delayed until a 4:30pm pick up. This was also an issue as I had hired helpers to work from 2-4 pm so not only was I not there at that time to begin moving, I was out the money I paid them. I had to get other helpers to help me load into the night so I could leave the next morning for the 13 hour drive back.Carl M.

The pickup process is what gives the low score. I had a pick up time of 8:00 am (24/7 pickup). App & website said I could not pickup until 9:00 when location opened. I tried at 9:00, it would not let me. Had to go in and wait in line. Worker very nice but he even said it wasn't set up right. The pictures of the truck to approve/disapprove seemed to be quite old since none of the marks on the truck were in pictures. Had to take time to point out all flaws. By the time I got the truck it was about 10:00 am. On moving day when I had help coming and just time in general, a 2 hour pick up process is not positive by any means. It's actually ridiculous. We did a contactless pickup so we can beat the heat and getting packing earlier. That got canceled cuz the truck wasn't there in time. No biggie. So we got there early so we could be first in line. Employee who opened store showed up at 910 when the store opens at 9. Then at drop off we showed up 2 minutes before close. And as my husband was walking to the door. An employee inside came and locked the door. This location needs to improve their customer service.Jay D.
I originally booked 2 uboxes and was told that I could downsize to 1 ubox at half the price. This was not the case, I paid upwards of $100 more to downgrade to 1 box. I emailed help via the contact us about this reservation button months ago with no replay. The wrong credit card was charged 3 different times despite removing the card that was used to hold the reservation & confirming with the drop off drivers the card on file. Auto emails saying I was going to be billed displayed the wrong balance billed since I paid ahead of time. Box hardly arrived within the delivery window despite reservation being made 90 days in advance. I do not plan on using your services again since U-Haul is not responsible for shipping, rather other shipping companies bid to ship on the containers opening your customers up to unnecessary delays and risks. People were nice and professional. Truck was another matter. Air conditioner did not work. Truck was older, had minor damage all over. Started ok at the pick up spot but would not start at either the place we were moving from or to. Had to call for roadside assistance. The AP and your 24/7 Customer Service is aweful... the AP did not let me check in from an Android phone... it would not accept the picture... then after about 10 minutes on hold and I got ahold of someone... they couldn't help me check in the equipment and I was placed on hold for another 10 minutes before I hung up... Your system for returning trailers via phone or computer needs improved. Nobody answers the phone. Can't return a trailer via the internet unless your still on site. So far I have been charged an extra days rental for a car hauler and I'm concerned that I might be charged another day for a 12' trailers recanted on Friday. Our box delivery was cancelled without our knowledge and sat in Cuyahoga Falls for an extra couple weeks. When we spoke with the manager he was not easy to reach on multiple occasions, and he was not able to speed up our delivery. At this time, we have been charged the full amount for a delivery even though our box arrived weeks after the guaranteed date. We will not be using uhaul again personally and we will not recommend it to anyone for use either.Casey T.

I tried using the app to pick up and drop off the truck and even with the instructions it still wouldn't work for me. There was only 1 person handling the desk and though he was very efficient. I had to call and confirm the truck was there due to not having a cell phone and it took forever for them to find if but moments to send me a bill for random charges that I was not informed of. I used way less mileage than allowed and changed my drop location but was charged. UHaul sucks. I did not have a reservation with this location, nor do I live in the area, but was charged for a monthly storage fee anyways. I had to contact multiple representatives to have this charge removed and once reversed, received a follow up email the next week saying I was subject to a late payment fee. No one from Uhaul was able to identify why my credit card information was associated with this transaction, and I do not feel confident in their ability to store information safely. Based on this experience, I will not be using Uhaul for future moving or storage needs.GREG P.

The inside of the windshield had a layer of sticky something, worse than if a person had smoked in it for 20 years. I tried to clean it but could not. The supervisor initially tried to double charge for the "first month free" wanting me to have the month of June as a no paying month. (pay two months upfront). However, I'm on a fixed income and could not arrange other bills accordingly. The store quoted me "$100.00" a month but in actuality the monthly cost is "$128.00." Walked in to rent a truck. Without looking at the computer, he told me none were available. Didn't ask what I was trying to move or suggest anything else. Walked back to the car and used the website to rent a small truck. Walked back into the store telling him I'm here for my truck. Claims it wasn't logged in but the girl said it was parked up front. I only had my unit for 6 months and every single time I came to the unit my swipe card did not work even though I was told it would, It said I needed to be checked in so I would have to walk all the way around the building to the office where I originally got the unit and every single time no one was there. On my move out day June 1st 2021 my movers showed up at 9am and it was supposed to be open at 8am, I had to walk all the way down and around the building to find no one in the office again, I was very frustrated because I was paying the movers by the hour so it was wasting more of my time and money. I understand if they are understaffed but it is absolutely unacceptable for them to not have anyone supervising that desk when customers are coming in. (5/22/21) We got there after an online move in and the unit was locked, we called someone he came after we waited for at least 10 minutes. When unlocked there were things in the unit that belonged to uhaul. The man helping me said he was going to talk to a manager and we were left waiting for over 25 minutes for him go come back while being unable to move in our things. There was supposed to be a lock waiting for us in the unit when we got there and there wasn’t so after making us wait for we’ll over half an hour total I then was told I had to drive around to the other side of the building to pick up my lock myself. I get over to the office and no one is there and I stand waiting for 5 minutes while the phone is ringing and no one picks up or comes to help me. I then was greeted with an attitude.
