My experience was horrible, I was sent to a location where there was no one to be found, I wasted time. Then I had to go to another location to get the truck, and the customer service was terrible, she hardly spoke and as I was driving away they told me someone's belongings from the office where left in the car. The customer care, attention, and service has been poor through out this entire process. It's almost as if the employees know less than the customer (both NYC and MIA). What's worse, instead of admitting they don't know an answer to a question and saying they will find out; they provide inaccurate information that someone else refutes with more incorrect information. Customer was bad. We arrived there a lady was at the door not one time did she say can we help you. All she said to use was leave the keys in the uhaul and I'll check it in. Then she didn't check it until the next day after calling asking when was we bring the uhaul.SHARTONYA S.
Basically the lady lied about the rates the plan everything the mileage when I got back to return the truck it was a lot more than we talked about or agreed about or on the first set of paperwork they threaten to call the police on me which is a shame because I'm used you guys a lot maybe not in my name but but I will never go to that location again no one was wearing masks while they had them on but not covering their face The truck was really scary to drive it kept pulling to one side of the street found out that the tires were almost flat only had 20 pounds passenger front 30 pounds and passenger rear after I pump them up at my shop The truck was a little better but there was a check engine light on the truck got very bad gas mileage it would not shift into the higher gears even though I had it in overdrive and everybody work there made me feel like a piece of shit and they were kind of intimidating definitely would not recommend it worst Experience I ever had with a rental company you will never see me againKevin C.

Please have workers trained for customer service. The were rude, unprofessional, disrespectful not only to me to other customers as well. My worst customer experience. Pulled into line of trucks in the return line. After 10 minutes of no movement, I got out and saw all trucks empty. No employees outside, only confused customers. Went inside and saw young lady sitting on a chair playing on her phone. She never looked up. When I asked if anyone worked there, she said yes, but she couldn't go outside. I would have to find the lady outside. No luck. I had to unhitch trailer and dump it myself. Another customer did the same. This took over 30 minutes. Finally, a saw a lady with a line of people. She had bad attitude. Eventually signed me out without ever inspecting the trailer. Equipment was all over the parking lot. Place is run by rude idiots.John P.

Management and staff at this location (U-Haul Moving & Storage of Dade County, 5341 NW 7th Ave, Miami, FL 33127) were incredibly unhelpful. The manager, Willy, would tell me to call back later every time I spoke to him, but when I called back no one would answer the phone. I would call 20+ times over the next few hours but no answer. If by chance someone did pick up, I'd ask for Willy but they would say that he's busy and would call me back, but he'd never call back. I would strongly encourage Uhaul leadership to look into this location's management. My experience is in line with the bulk of feedback shared on Google Reviews, and it's a shame that the team is not being held accountable. I will likely never use Uhaul again based on my experience with this store.Nabil S.

Get a completely new staff. The store closes at 7pm, and I arrived at 6:30 to return the truck. I was met in the parking lot by 6 other families who were all upset that the no one was there to help them. I immediately tried calling customer service to report the situation, but was on hold so long that customer service ended up closing before I could speak to someone. I then used the 24/7 return, and to my surprise I witnessed 4/5 women come out of the white door from the rear of the building and run across the parking lot, get in a car and leave. Moral of the story...they were in the building with the doors locked and the lights off. They refused to assist any of the 6 families that arrived over 30 minutes before closing.Charvielle C.

The staff were all helpful and did whatever they could to accommodate us. I had a great experience except for one detail which was not the fault of the employees at the store. When I called to reserve the storage unit I spoke to someone at the call center. This gentleman was very impatient and he kept cutting me off when I tried to speak. I explained to him that I was looking for a ground level unit because I had knee surgery and couldn’t do stairs. He told me that he only had a 2nd floor unit and assured me multiple times on the call that this storage facility has an elevator and that I should be fine. That was a lie. I couldn’t even change my location because there were no other spaces available at other locations. I had to carry all my belongings up 2 flights of stairs with a bad knee. My storage unit was riddled with mice and their droppings. I didn't have any food items for them to eat like i was advised, yet the were in boxes eating my books.
