I was told incorrect information not once, but two times. The first was by people at the facility - I was told that I can rent a UBox to that location and they will drop it off, I can load it, and then they take it away at no cost. Then after calling to get it delivered, they said I would have to pay extra (paid about $200) for that. Then I scheduled the delivery for when my other storage unit ended, the morning of my renewal. The woman on the phone said that I would not be charged. I then went and move out - by like 10:30am on the day my original unit was up for renewal (but I had moved out into my new UBox). When "checking out" they said I have a balance - of like $270 from my unit renewing that day. The woman then gave really unnecessary attitude. It was pretty ridiculous. 1st. the people at the site did not know that their own facility could not accept uBox like that. Then they misled me on the phone, would have reserved another day.

I moved my daughter to Florida seven months ago needed a temporary facility for her to store her furniture and household goods. The ladies in the front office were extremely helpful and found us a unit close to an exterior door to help with the move-in. The facility was very clean and organized and using your app was very convenient. I would recommend anyone who needs storage facilities to to use this location. Thanks

I have horrible experiences with Uhaul every time I rent a truck. This time the truck was rented to another person right before I arrived at the store and I had to go to another location to pick up. This cost me time and money because I had to pay for extra hours for the movers. This will be the last time I deal with Uhaul.

The car dolly I had reserved several days B4 pick up was rented to me with 1 of 2 strap ratchets missing. Having never used one of these B4, I didn't realize the problem until I loaded my car. I call the location and explained the issue. The first employee said they had another but it was the same ... only one ratchet... that that's how the are designed. I returned to the uhaul location and after 3 hours they provided a properly equipped (and safe) dolly. This resulted in a 4 hour delay to starting my 18 hour/ 1200 mile trip. This was very inconvenient for the 3 adults and 2 children under 5 years old... After this delay the equipment did work properly.

I was guaranteed that the uhaul was going to be at 12865 NW 7th Ave, North Miami, FL 33168 the day before pickup so I get dropped off there by a friend to get told that they didnt have it so I had to pay $40 for an Uber to get to the next location. I recently had the pleasure of working with Willie Shine and his outstanding crew at the U-Haul located at 5341 NW 7th Avenue in Miami, FL, and I can't praise them enough for their exceptional service. My move had taken a turn for the worse when the independent helper I booked texted me after three hours of waiting to say he would be even later. I had no choice but to cancel him, leaving me to do most of the work on my own. Working in July’s heat in Miami, feeling frustrated and overwhelmed, Willie Shine and his team stepped in and turned the situation around with their professionalism and expertise. (And ice-cold water) They immediately found a reliable helper, provided me with a spotless new van, and gave invaluable advice on how to best utilize the space in the van to get everything packed efficiently. Not only did they make the entire process easier, but they also adjusted my rental contract to ensure I had enough time to complete the move without any additional stress. Their quick thinking and genuine care made all the difference on a day that could have gone very wrong. I want to give special recognition to Crystal for her rapid solutions and calm demeanor, and to Derrick for his incredible stamina and hands-on approach. Willie Shine and his team treated me with kindness and understanding, making what could have been a nightmare move into a smooth and successful experience. If you're looking for a team that will go above and beyond to ensure your move is as stress-free as possible, I highly recommend Willie Shine and his amazing crew at this U-Haul location. They truly turned my day around, and I couldn't be more grateful!

The experience is terrible. We found the storage full of mices / rats and mice and rats' poop. The smell was horrible, and we had to throw away several items such as mattress, bags, bed sheets, shoes, leather chair, with a damage over $2000.00.There is even a mice that was hiding in a box, that we saw running away from the box at our house. She is in the house now and we are fighting to kill it. I will place a claim to recover what I consider is due.

My storage room was scary. It was like the silence of the lamp type of room. Black sticky paint and the floor has holes it’s perfect for rats and insects to enter. The floor is always wet cause there is water leak from the AC. That’s a safety issue right there. The personnel was nice and friendly however I always felt you have guys walking around waiting for a tip! I had a one month free so I what can I expect really.

Me mudé de Houston a Miami cuando llegue al lugar de almacenamiento no tenian disponible 10×15 que era el que me avian dado por la renta del camión. First time renting from self storage and my husband’s leg got trapped to the rotted wooden floor. His little finger got damaged while he tried to remove himself out from the hole. My husband had to be rushed to the hospital. At first, when I came to the office, the customer service was laughing at me and not taking me seriously while my husband was in pain. I feel it is negligence from the company for not inspecting an unit for safety before renting it out and unprofessional from the customer service from laughing while someone got an accident.

Very good experience dropping off equipment and using a storage unit. The manager is so helpful!! Moving is no fun, but my experience made it so much more bearable!!

The staff were all helpful and did whatever they could to accommodate us. I had a great experience except for one detail which was not the fault of the employees at the store. When I called to reserve the storage unit I spoke to someone at the call center. This gentleman was very impatient and he kept cutting me off when I tried to speak. I explained to him that I was looking for a ground level unit because I had knee surgery and couldn’t do stairs. He told me that he only had a 2nd floor unit and assured me multiple times on the call that this storage facility has an elevator and that I should be fine. That was a lie. I couldn’t even change my location because there were no other spaces available at other locations. I had to carry all my belongings up 2 flights of stairs with a bad knee. I believe that this situation could have been avoided if the gentleman had a little empathy and love for his job.

My storage unit was riddled with mice and their droppings. I didn't have any food items for them to eat like i was advised, yet the were in boxes eating my books. Also, even with insurance the items are irreplaceable where i thought they would be safe packaged away. That was not the case! Label me Disappointed!

Staff absolutely useless and careless. Probably the most disrespectful experience and the worst memory. Will surely totally forget about this company for furniture need. I only hope this kind of experience is only happening at that location (which is apparently not the case based on what another customer was saying while being there). Good luck! you have a very long way to go if you want to be competitive in Customer Service experience.

Someone tampered with my lock. However, they were not able get into my unit. I had to change my lock because my key didn't work. Other than that no problems. Need to warn employees about that.

Had a fabulous experience from Doug in Jersey who picked up my uboxes to the staff in Miami. They were excellent, professional and friendly For an out of state move the prices were reasonable.

The your policy’s for not being able to contact the store directly cost me money. We tried to contact the store for pick up for 3 weeks no return calls. Warren was the saving grace for that store.
