Your front desk staff is less than desirable! Zero customer service skills, out and out just nasty because they can be! I’ve been to this location several times and experience the same two women being nasty and hateful just because they think they can get away with it!

If the customers preferred drop off location does not appear in UHaul’s system at the time of equipment pickup. The UHaul REPRESENTATIVE should call *FOR* the customer to verify and reserve the customer’s preferred drop off location if available. That wasn’t my experience. I was told there were no drop off locations where I was going, given a phone number and told to call once I arrive at my the other end of my trip to see if any UHaul at my destination was willing to accept my return. What they didn’t know was I had spoken directly with the UHaul drop off location the day before who had confirmed they would accept the trailer. I’m giving an honest review of the Daytona facility but I would give the customer service Zero stars and although I rarely use UHaul truck or trailer rental, I’ll be exploring options other than UHaul next time around.

The truck was great and the u-haul location, where I've rented from multiple times before, was well run, except that the utility dolly that I reserved wasn't available. As a consequence I rented a furniture dolly (at $7/day x 3 days), which was useless for my move and this slowed me down substantially.

Manager on duty was not expecting us to arrive after we were told by Uhaul roadside that this would be communicated. After pulling in, the manager asked me to wait in the truck while my 20ft trailer sat an unsafe location, blocking traffic into a busy road. The manager was generally argumentative, and said "people are can be rude around here" when I informed him the spot my truck was parked is unsafe and blocking traffic, leading to unhappy drivers at my rear. The towed truck we were moving our load out of was backed into a cement block that we could not access while our movers were ready to transfer. The manager had to make a key to move truck and make access to the gate available. The manager continued to stare at myself and my fiancé while sat in the lobby during/after load transfer. All in all, a weird and uncomfortable experience but the staff was friendly (besides the on-site manager/supervisor, he seemed generally incapable).

The vehicle hauler blew a tire north of Atlanta. Before I could limp to a safe location, the second tire on the vehicle hauler blew out, too. So, no, the equipment was not well-maintained. Furthermore, one of the replacement tires installed on the hauler blew out about 250 miles later, resulting in yet another dangerous situation and delay to my move.

The truck had an issue. I informed them at drop off that under medium to heavy braking when loaded it went into a death wobble on the front end. Steering wheel jerking left and right out of your hands and front end shake badly. I’ve dealt with that before on a vehicle so I knew what it was and how to not crash. But someone else would possibly crash. It did not do it empty I tested it. Scary situation

This is not about improving but just wanted to say the guy who hooked the trailer up was very pleasant. He was quick hooking the trailer and explained how to disconnect once we were back at the store. I’m glad he did because I’m not sure we could have figured it out (having to press the tab while starting to unlock the knob). Great, Customer Service

Not sure how a 19.95 truck rental for 3 hours turns into $80. I feel that’s false advisement honestly. Guy at the counter seemed to not like his job.

The wait time to rent was almost 1 hour. Upon returning I entered the way I was instructed and immediately discovered there was no room to drop, it took forever to turn around and I found an alternate area. Very difficult return for me.

The gentleman that installed my trailer hitch, was excellent. He waited on me at the counter, came out in the parking lot looked under my car and explained the installation to me. Great customer service. Also told me how long it would take to install.

There was a lady here checking vehicle supposedly (cream color mini van)looking for a dolly and attempted to take the one I rented. I backed the Trailor in I placed an old master lock on the door and left key on the driver side wheel.

Facility is overstocked with trucks. Storage facilities are blocked by 6-7 trucks. Had to maneuver around trucks to get to unit/facility.

Storage was clean and staff was very friendly. Unfortunately there were trucks parked in front of storage doors blocking the exit making it hard to remove items being taken out. Had to go into office to see if the truck could get moved. Just inconvenient.

They were rude and very dismissive I moved here on my own paid for storage they charged me for two even though I didn’t use it was no reimbursed which is a scam I asked for assistance moving a few things since I was all by myself the lady said “no there busy rudely” and they were outside laughing I’ve used U-Haul for years and never gotten this kind of treatment the worst I’ve ever been to not that this review will change anything but good luck with this group

I love ❤️ my space and the location. And love how it’s so secured. When you have to have a card to enter . I was referred the very FRIST time with courtesy complementary from U-Haul during the hurricane Milton. They were so friendly and helpful. With my other storage closed due to the hurricane very early . And I rented a U-Haul van . And I had to keep your ba. Over nite . But your U-Haul company SAVE ME 😀. And I will NEVER . Forget that . As a longtime and frequent UHaul customer in multiple locations across the US, the Daytona Beach facility on Intl Speedway Blvd has one of the friendliest and most efficient staffs ever. I also must give Jennifer big props as she is very customer service oriented and knowledgable regarding all aspects of the rental process, and a real asset to the company.

The parking is a nightmare, about 5 spaces for customers. Facility is old/outdated, needs painted, cleaned, no lights in unit working, very bad musty smell, ceiling in unit damaged from rain, looks like it would fall in.

This is a joke. The light is out on the ceiling, floor dirty, dead bugs all over.I had to ask to have it swept out, they acted as if I had 4 heads ! NO PLACE TO PARK !! THEY NEED a complete do over,remodel,etc. A few employees were pleasant, the rest were jerks.

Lied about 24 hr access, and cost us money for a hotel due to our condo not allowing us to have a trailer on the property, so we had to get a hotel to park the uhaul trailer cause we couldn’t unload into your storage unit.

Easy process, affordable unit pricing with insurance for belongings available. Moving our stuff to storage was a simple process, although I wish Uhaul had more storage units at our Location Daytona Beach. It was a challenge to fit into the only unit left! Tetris masters, fit things in like puzzle pieces! Overall I can not complain.

I was given the truck 24 miles to go for empty. I returned it with more gas than I picked it up with. I was still charged an additional $30 for fuel. Even though I had already spent $30 on fuel. I was never given any copies of the paperwork, I had to ask. I find this to be very wrong. They said they gave me a $30 fuel credit to begin with, which I see see, but it is not reflected in the original bill or anywhere. Never again with uhaul unless I feel getting ripped off again.

The gas mileage on the rental truck was wrong, I told them before I left and they said just use the app, I’m busy. Today they charged my bank account for November payment which over draft my account. Obviously I should not have been charged since this very survey says I left. I’m beyond unhappy and would like corporate to contact me.
