The U Haul general manager was impersonal and unfriendly. He did not explain anything about the operation of the truck or the lift door and ramp. The truck itself was 20 years old. The brakes were horrible and there was so much play in the steering I could barely keep it on the road. I’ve been renting trucks from U Haul forever and my experience was always very positive. This experience has made me rethink whether I will use them in the future.

When the associate was taking the trailer off he paid no attention to the tailgate and scratched up my truck and never even said anything about having it fixed for me. They damaged my truck and he did nothing to rectify the issue.

I didn’t like how I was added charges for Safe Move Plus just put it on there and didn’t ask I was charged for 10 miles didn’t go 10 miles keep calling there and keep being on hold this place is unprofessional and my husband and daughter was in my car and she almost bagged the Uhaul into it my husband had to blow the horn

The Erie PA 337 W 12th location had the truck but not the car carrier. The location needs some improvements on the building and the lot but the staff is friendly and easy to work with. The Erie PA Grandview location (car carrier) needs building and lot work as well, and the software used to print contracts wasn't working very well. However, the person who handled our rental was super-nice and easy to work with... the kind of person every company would love to have representing them.

5/8 full is ridiculous and suggests you're trying to eek out extra money. Filling it to full is easy; trying to hit 5/8 left more in than when it was picked up.

Very professional and friendly attendants. Location needs a little dressing up, but this location is excellent for all my u-haul needs. Can’t wait for the storage locations to be completed.

Have the supplies in stock that are made with the reservation. If someone needs 12 furniture pads but you only have 6, that is not ok. Clearly most people order what they need. Truck also difficult to use. Ramp could not be put back in and took 30+ minutes to get put back so truck could be driven.

I had a minor problem with the staff miss reading my fuel gauge as below the required limit when I had filled it well above the requirement. It took a couple minutes to convince him of the mistake, but once he realized what he had done he resolved the issue and apologized for the inconvenience. Good mistake recovery, but a simple mistake to try to avoid in the future.
